Claire in Newark Millets was helpful and professional when helping me sort a new pair of walking shoes today. Thanks very much.

As visitors to Newark we happened upon the Millets store which had a sale on. I needed a pair of trousers. I found a pair which fitted and en route to the till a waterproof coat in a gorgeous colour took my eye, I tried it on...sold!
Meanwhile my husband was looking at footwear. Assisted by Clair found the right size...sold.
So paid at the till.
Impromptu retail therapy achieved. Thank you Vicky and Clair, two lovely ladies!

Tidy and clean store. Staff were friendly and helpful. Silvia showed me all the products available in regards to the item I was looking which enabled me to choose exactly what I wanted. Quick and easy to pay.

Bought a camp water carrier. Asked to try on a pair of walking sandals. Have never been able to get any that really fitted before. Assistant, Sylvia helped me through the process and I was able to purchase a pair.

A very helpful and pleasant lady called Sandra helped me find the perfect pair of walking shoes! Efficient and friendly service from her and her colleague Becky who served me at the till!

Went in today to buy a pair of trainers to replace the worn out pair from 10 years ago. Becky and Vicky could not have been more helpful, finding the shoes I wanted, and then taking everything to the till, whilst I replaced my shoes. Excellent service, and thank you very much, ladies

I would like to say a huge thank you to Sandra and Silvia who helped me choose a rucksack and camel pack for a recent challenge walk I was about to embark on. They are a credit to Millets and very knowledgeable about the product range. They were also able to help me with scout leader discount which was super useful.

Comfortable to wear, robust flexible sole and fully adjustable straps etc.

Excellent help and service from Becky and the staff in the Newark store when attempting to leave a parcel for collection by UPS. Nothing was too much trouble, she was very patient and I appreciated the time she/they took helping me. Thank you!

I wanted a pair of comfortable boots just to go round shops in..nothing expensive just right support. Clair at Newark store was lovely, understood my limited needs(and means). Shopping for The Duke of Edinburgh (the awards thing, not the actual Duke) and the staff were a delight and could not have been more helpful in helping me to spend my money on many of the items on the D of E list!
Prices seemed very reasonable for the quality of the goods and it seemed that on top of the D of E discount the more we spent the overall discount increased, which tempted me in to buying gadgets such as a camping multi tool which wasn’t strictly necessary!
One of the charming assistants (possibly Becky?) was a little clumsy and knocked the display of camping mats off the top shelf causing a little bit of a kerfuffle however whilst picking them up for her, because she was a little too short to reach the top shelf, fortuitously my eye was drawn to a very compact self inflating mattress which will hopefully be much more comfortable than the yoga mats!
Lovely staff - loved shopping there!
