Mindstrong fitness is a great wellness community for women in perimenopause and menopause. While the core of the program is tracking macros, the program looks holistically at fitness, food, hormones, any and all things that impact us in this phase of life. Rachel (CEO) and the coaches are very open about personal experiences and really care about their clients.

I can’t stop singing the praises of MindStrong Fitness! Everything I “thought” I knew about nutrition was absolutely wrong. Eating less but moving more wasn’t the answer AT ALL, post menopause. I had stopped eating fruit, especially my beloved bananas, because they were “fattening”. But no one could explain to me why bananas were bad but bacon was good. Now I know the truth and get to experience the food freedom I once had in my youth. This is a master level educational course in the math and science behind nutrition, why it matters and how to control it for your personal journey. The diet industry has a chokehold on the public and keeps women especially, in the dark. Rachel has chosen a different path with MindStrong. She wants to educate women by taking the blinders off and showing them what their bodies are capable of. I will never ever “diet” again because I am in control.

Rachel Freiman's weight loss program for menopausal women has some flaws one of which is that she clearly states in her webinar that she's the only one who's teaching this material when there are many other competitors whose programs are at least as good and at a lesser cost and who have built a solid reputation on Trust Pilot. I signed up based on trusting the sales people but then began to doubt when I read poor reviews. I realized I had been pressured to pay more than it was worth. I found other programs with a better reputation for a lesser cost. One of these programs is Warrior Babes who's pricing is more reasonable for what is offered. Secondly, I found complaints online about the follow through and customer service.
Some people felt they had been led to believe that they would receive more attention from their coach than they actually got and when they wanted to end the contract they were refused. Apparently, the complaints were accurate because when I tried to get my money back the next day it was a struggle and I had to ask my credit card company to step in. It appears that the company is not confident in their results if they cannot refund money when someone has second thoughts before the program has even begun. For these two reasons, I chose a different program. I would have liked to be taken seriously when I said this program is not for me. There's a lot of pressure to sign a contract right away without looking into the program.
