I have been pleased by the results Monarch has gotten for me so far. It has reduced my stress level a 100%.With fresh start, I have learned to be more responsible with my finances.

I contracted with Monarch Legal on Feb., 2020 because I was unable to pay all of my credit card debts from a serious drop in my business. I had been paying all of my credit cards both person and business. Now, during the past year I have been paying Monarch Legal to get settlements to my credit cards. I have not received any indication that they have negotiated with the credit card companies with the exception of one card company that did settle for a small debt. I have not seen any communication from Monarch Legal Group to the remaining 6 companies and now one is suing in the District Court of Cook County where I must appear by March 15, 2021. Today, when I have tried to reach the attorney Michael Duhn, all the office and custmer service phones are down - as if the company is not functioning. They have a message that there is a company-wide event going on and then the phone shuts down! I need honest legal representation. If there is a Illinois law to protect me, after I have spent $12,000 for Monarch Legal to pay itself and am not receiving any legal assistance, I need that help NOW! W. Graham

My husband and I have been with Monarch legal group since 2019. Besides the initial signing up process we have NEVER been contacted by an attorney or the company. We were assured and instructed not to continue to pay our credit cards and that Monarch would be in contact. Well, we received a summons over 3-4, weeks ago and called them right away. We were told it takes 14 days to review the summons and have an attorney assigned. Well court is on 2/17/2021. We last spoke to an escalations supervisor by the name of Tia who apologized for the lack of communication from the company since 2019. She sent us a letter of good standing and POA we signed in 2019 and said just in case we need to file on our own. We thanked her for a little progress. She said she had no idea why an attorney had not been assigned and apparently attorney can pick-up ur case( whatever attorney is in the area within this group) OR they can deny it. That was a shock to us because we thought paying $450.00 a month since 2019 ensured we would have debits settled, regular contact with Monarch AND legal representation when needed. This summons we received said our wages could be garnished. Tia was supposed to call us back 2/10 and didn't. We called yesterday and she was out. So, then we got transferred to another escalations supervisor by the name of Lashaun and he said no attorney has picked up the case. We shared our frystration with going to court without legal representation and again it was a bunch of apologies and the usual " we are escalating this to our escalations dept". Called back today to speak to Tia again and she was on another call. Paying $450.00 a month hasn't been a easy thing to do. But, we needed and still need help with out debit. The fact that we are now in a huge time of need and we are not being helped by a service we are paying for is sickening, unprofessional and alarming. Court is 2/17/21 and to date we haven't received a call from Tia or anyone else over her. We are in shock and frankly looking to file with the BBB. Its truly said that in a client's need we can't even get help and/or assistance from a company that supposedly has our best interest. It's so upsetting. I would recommend if anyone receives a summons to efile any verification u have that u are represented by Monarch on your own. They don't help and it's frankly morally disgusting. We really truly thought this company would help us get financially stable with paying our debit. We were wrong and here we are with no help. If the escalations supervisors can't help then what now.....?

They are thief, you have a contract with them for any amount of months but they decided to pay themselves first and now that I need to settle a debt I have not money in my savings because the pay themselves first.
Their excuse was that so I pay them all first and not have debt to them but common for they to pay you debt you can't stop paying them.... worse service....the just take advantage of people in need.

Will do put a claim to the BBB, this is a scam.

In the state of Illinois there is a new law that protects consumers abous debt settlement scams
1- prohibits all upfront and montly fees upfront, except for 1 time $50 application fee (all my money was used for fees)
2- Cap fees at 15% of the saving archived from settling the debt, ensuring that a debt settlement company only gets paid when it does what it promised to do.
3- prohibits debt settlement companies from advising customers to stop paying their creditors. (They told me to stop paying my creditors)
4 - Allow customers to cancel a contract at any time, with a prompt refund of fees. (They said they will not be giving my money back as they used all in fees)

I appreciate what your service is doing but I wish there was more communication. For example, when I receive correspondence in the mail and forward it to you, there is almost always no communication.

Customer service is quick, efficient and professional. They answer my questions promptly and accurately. I’m really happy with the service so far

I have just started this program, and to date I have found it to be extremely worthwhile, the pressure that this program has taken off me has been tenfold and I feel that I am finally headed in the right direction, I know the road ahead will be tough but well worth the effort, having a reliable team behind me makes all the difference

I was very nervous about making this move but I was reassured and put at ease with the way I was treated. I feel that I can now reach my goal and make my life better in the near future.

Still early in my experience but I feel I am on the right track for my financial freedom.

I have had no issues thus far but I was wondering if anyone ever put there Bank of America cards with them and what was the results ? I want to but I heard that if u have a bank account w them they can take what money you have in the bank towards the credit card that I owe on? Please help ! Thx!

YOU CAN FILE BOTH CLAIMS ONLINE. THIS WAS THE ONLY WAY MONARCH LEGAL GROUP WOULD REFUND MY MONEY AND THEY RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY AFTER COMPLAINTS WERE FILED. THEY INITIALLY ATTEMPTED TO REFUND ME ONLY $286 AFTER PAYING THEM OVER $7500. I RECEIVED ALL OF MY FUNDS I PAID IN EXCEPT FOR $354 AFTER FILING COMPLAINTS WITH BOTH AGENCIES. *** THIS COMPANY WAS SUED PREVIOUSLY UNDER DIFFERENT NAME BURNETTE LEGAL GROUP IN AFFILIATION WITH THE LEGAL HELPERS DEBT RESOLUTION LLC SCAM OUT OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS. ALL of your money directly goes to them! Your debt is NOT their priority, paying themselves first is! Thousands of dollars paid to them and only have 1 debt settled that I did NOT agree to and I specifically told them that, but they signed the agreement on my behalf anyways!!!! They agreed on a small settlement paying them $24/mo for 2 years rather than paying the debt off in lump sum. Why would they arrange and enter an agreement like this after I have paid them over $5000??? BECAUSE THE LEGAL GROUP HAS TAKEN ALL OF MY MONEY I HAVE PAID THEM AND PAID THEMSELVES, NOT MY DEBT!i understand fees for their services but trust me they will pay every penny to themselves before they will even think about resolving your debt! They have done nothing but lie, the lawyer assigned Michael Duhn will not return any calls, nor emails, and their communication and knowledge is horrible. They take absolute advantage of people period. The so called client services has no knowledge on anything in regards to debt or even basic credit score and reporting questions, they are either a call center or paralegals who are only there to sign documents. How do I talk to 4 different “client service” reps and not ONE of them had knowledge on basic debt questions and how it is affecting credit and credit reporting?! That supposedly is their job?! Client services is a glorified word for their legal team that is only their for document signing. Promises of resolving multiple debts fast however 10 months later and only 1 settlement. It’s simply because once again, the client and their debt resolution is NOT and WILL NEVER BE THE PRIORITY!! Lies, lies and more lies. Biggest regret absolutely do not get involved with these people. Their “operations” and stealing is what they are doing to people and it will eventually catch up to all of them and their fraudulent company. The other reviews have it right criminals is what they are every last one of them partaking in this scheme of taking the consumers money. Anyone giving them a positive review has to be fake as well.

I signed up for their service, little did I know all I was paying for was service. Less than 10% went towards any true debt, and not one card was settled. Out of over $4000 put into the fund after less than 6 months, $215 was returned back. When I asked for the other $3300 that was allocated towards "service charges", the representative Eric stated they can only refund me an additional $450, and I had to sign a settlement agreement and general release. Sounds fishy to me....

This is a criminal organization. I have been paying $1200 for 10 months without and resolve. I’m being sued, no one will take my calls and no one will help. These people take advantage of others in crisis. Please find another means of debt relief. I’ve been scammed.

Monarch Legal Group provides a very valuable service for those needing to get out of debt and take their financial situation seriously. If you are able to qualify which should not be too difficult I recommend their services most highly.

I have been with them for the last 10 months, everything is going well. I don't have to worry about paying multiple cards. I thank them for their communication at every step.

These people should be tried as criminals. I have been handing over $900 a month for 7 months and they have settled nothings. Now they won’t return phone calls or emails. Avoid them like the plague. I think most of their positive reviews are written in house.

They have been very helpful and caring all thru the process. Always available to answer my questions and explain the ongoing process

We are really satisfied right now and we have already gotten 1 settlement in the 4th month. We have 16 more to go.Thanks.
