I think they buy from auction and sell straight on, no work is done on them. No service, dodgy mot, no 5* breakdown and RAC warranty, 33 faults on OBD, low anti freeze, 1 door not locking, parking sensors not working, no manual - this is just what I can remember. Do not buy from here, I only wish I'd read the reviews prior.
If you have a problem they aren't interested, go to trading standards and quote CRA 2015, you have rights under that.

Unfortunately I had to give it one star as they didn't have a minus option, please if you are considering buying from the Halifax Motor Arena read the reviews , don't have any dealings with Maz as he's full of crap he just wants your money the after service sales is also crap , they said they had done a full service on the car we bought they lied it didn't even have one I dont even think the MOT was done right either, whilst we were buying ours 2 other people brought their cars back one wouldn't start it should of set alarm bells ringing then but we'd already handed the money over, if anything please please take a minute to consider buying from here get a second opinion from an independent mechanic and read all paper work!!!

Once these guys have your money they don't engage with you if you have any type of problems.
I came from Ireland and imported the Land Rover Discovery Sport back here so will find it hard to get any come back as so many other reviews have highlighted.
I have imported cars from 6 other garages in the UK in the past and have never had any issues with any of them.
I tried emailing them multiple times about a few issues with the car that I purchased but they just don't respond and this is to their main sales email address that they were very responsive to before they had my money!
There were a number things wrong with the car (DPS filter warning light showing, user manual is missing, boot load cover is missing, paintwork wasn't up to what they lead me to believe before I travelled, keyless entry not working on some doors, cheap floor mats are not the originals, etc)
The DPS filter warning came back a second time and went red quickly with an engine warning light also and the car went into limp mode.
I had to pay my mechanic €200 to force a regeneration but this only fixed the issue for 2 weeks before it was back in the same state after driving only 90 miles!
The car is again back with the garage at the moment and they are struggling to find the issue.
If the DPF filter needs to be replaced this will cost thousands.
I have explained all these issues to Mototarena many times but simply get no response back.
I don't normally post reviews but I would hate to see more people getting caught by these cowboys in this very unprofessionally ran operation.

Also, I was promised that I would get a 3 month warranty from "Blackstar Warranties" that I never got and they have no intention of giving to me.

Wanted to buy a car there. Had cash to pay. Got in contact by chat and asked for to be contacted by the sales team. Had to call myself two times to ask a video viewing. They said they would do it and send one to me. Never heard from them again. No response, no explanation. Guess I was lucky to not buy there a car reading the reviews here.

Dodgy company, death trap vehicles, scamming staff, plenty of fake positive reviews. Just check out YouTube or the BBC documentary.

I bought my car from Motor Arena two weeks ago. I noted that there was a battery light on the dashboard and queried this before pick up. Explanation was that the car had been stood for some time and battery was low, it would charge up as I drove home - this is perfectly plausible and as such I took the car. However, once home the fault light didn't go and I contacted them straight away to express concern. The Aftersales team needed the error code reading which I did and my local garage suggested that the alternator may be faulty. I contacted Aftersales again and was asked to send all details in an email. This I did and got no response. I called the following day and said I would be rejecting the car and returning it that day. In the meantime I found the various reviews of motor arena and began to get very concerned. However, on arriving back at the dealership I met with the owner and he arranged for my car to be fixed. I was loaned a car (with a full tank) for the weekend and when I came to pick up my new car was not only fixed but cleaned and ready to go. I never heard from the Aftersales team but dealing directly with the sales team certainly helped and I am very pleased with my vehicle and how I was treated. I don't work for the company and until buying this car had no knowledge of them, but I was treated fairly and professionally and would have no issues buying from them again - although the poor response from aftersales makes this 4 star rather than 5.

This was the worst experience i have ever received from a car dealership, the car had so many problems. i am utterly disgusted with the service, please avoid

Shocking behaviour from a company that sells high value cars.

Be careful with these they are known for posting fake reviews and they were on the sherrifs are coming tv show 3 times in one episode

I just recently bought a car from here, and i am over the moon with it. Brilliant customer service! The team was very helpful and made me feel very welcome.

10/10 customer service, quick, easy and simple. Amazing car for an amazing price.
Danny was a star from start to finish and I felt no pressure into buying, but fit me perfectly. I love my new evoque!!!

Company wows unsuspecting customers with a great offer and keeps them occupied with tall stories.
Enough time to take their deposit before any sevice work is complete and its downhill thereafter.

Anyone thinking of buying a car from this business first watch a recent episode of BBC1 The sheriffs are coming!
Clearly con artists and everyone can see there disregard for British law.

I bought a 2015 Mercedes from the Motor arena on 02/09/2020. It was advertised as having Mercedes service and MOT valid till July 2021 and I was assured by the salesman that it would have been serviced, MOT was only valid till January 2021 which is an automatic extension, the salesman said he will reimburse me for getting an MOT which they have not done yet. More importantly the car was serviced by Kwikfit for its 4th service and not by Mercedes and they have not provided me with any service document for the year 2020 (what should be its 5th year service), they are adamant it was indeed serviced in 2020 but have failed to provide any evidence of that so far (it has been a month), the aftersales team has not been helpful nor has the sales team themselves who sold me the car. The 2nd day I had the car I got a warning to fill up the coolant, which would not happen if the car was serviced before i bought it. They can be honest with me and say the car was not serviced and then they need to have it serviced or if it was indeed serviced then it should be inspected for any source of coolant leak

This company had hundreds of bad reviews on google after they were on the sheriffs are coming but they have managed to delete them all... watch the program on you tube then make your own mind up ..

Awful people, awful reputation, awful cars, how stupid would you have be to buy a car from these people. Read the review - not one have given a good comment. Do not buy cars from them, they will not exist if people do not buy cars from them. Do everyone a favour, drive them out of business
