Just started using the latest Firefox; wow its gone right downhill. Pop ups for no good reason, stops you doing perfectly reasonable actions, things like Google maps don't work properly and basically interfering with your activities. Back to the dreaded Chrome again.

I've used Firefox for years but when updates block what I'm doing and demand a restart it's time to say enough and give another web browser a go!

Ich wollte gerade in Ebay rein, da hatte ich in letzter zeit mehrfach Probleme mit dieser Browsergurke. Seiten auf Ebay werden nur teilweise geladen und anders dargestellt wie üblich. Mit dem Brave Browser habe ich Ebay dann geöffnet und die Seiten wurden korrekt dargestellt, und wesentlich schneller geöffnet. Diese Gurkentruppe von Firefox bekommt ihre Probleme nicht mehr in den Griff, da nützen auch die updates nichts, die raffen es einfach nicht...👎

I am generally happy with Firefox/DuckDuckGo, but one "improvement" really annoys me. The home screen has a big search box on the screen, but if I type a search phrase it only appears in the tiny URL line of the screen. Please fix it, it used to appear in the big search box.

all of this technology now is disappointing especially with today’s climate technology is far too expensive for what people can afford and when you have like 2011 MacBook pros and iMac and then all of a sudden your service or your software cannot keep up with the latest protection security protocol and new updated systems. It’s ridiculous. One can just go out and buy another computer anymore. It cost too much. I need developers really need to sort themselves out and make archived computers that people have and value still able to use for emails, especially. Now can no longer stream Amazon not compatible.

Firefox getting slower day by day? need some work done!

Seit etwa einem Jahr habe ich Probleme, mich bei gewissen Webseiten einzuloggen. Wenn es denn klappt, kann ich zum Beispiel die darin enthaltenen pdf-Dokumente nicht aufrufen, weil der Link gar nicht enthalten ist. Das Deaktivieren oder sogar Entfernen der verschiedenen Filter bringt nichts, ich muss auf einen anderen Browser ausweichen.
Ich bin eigentlich Fan vom Feuerfuchs seit seinen Anfängen, aber jetzt ist es soweit, ich muss eine Alternative suchen.

Purtroppo dal 25/02/2025 cambiando Termini di Utilizzo e Privacy Notice ha reso automatica l'accettazione dei suddetti inserendo anche una Accettable Use Policy con la quale praticamente decidono loro se tu puoi vedere certe cose oppure no e se a loro non va bene ti bloccano l'utilizzo del browser.
Fortunatamente questa sciagurata decisione è stata poi mitigata ma il danno ormai era fatto.

But, Firefox not only limits the number of icon links to 16, it also does NOT allow you to rearrange the icons. Not smart.

Firefox wird immer seltsamer und macht kein Spaß mehr! Zeit Update an , aber nach Start zeigt wieder das selbe Update an was soll das ?! Auch einiges andere ist mittlerweile einfach Müll zu anderen Browsern !! Auch das man Support nicht vernünftig erreichen kann ist totaler Schrott und ungenügend !!

Firefox use to be great, then they were awful. The new desktop browser for 64 bit Windows desktops have a major flaw that is causing me to again ditch Firefox. When I delete bookmarks on the browser they return again in a couple of hours. Over the last 2 years it has gotten really bad. There is no way to permanently delete a save Bookmark, it is always back as soon as I go to my bookmarks. I can no longer recommend Firefox to anyone, it is useless. I suggest that everyone use Duck, Duck, Go. Stay away from Firefox, Chrome, Edge, they are all useless.

There was a time when Firefox was okay but now it not very good.Maybe it's just me but it seem like it wants to second guess every search you do is filled with adverts or rubbish it think you might be interested and given that stuff on the web is either wrong or out off date I mean really! They could stripe it back to search with no second guess you and dump rubbish that they have stuffed into it that might be good! I refering I to their phone app.

after hours of searching for help i got nowhere , unable to change certain settings back to desktop permanently , everytime i press a link a new tab opens . impossible to leave feedback on firefox . not very user friendly.

All form of support is poor. The community questions are difficult and mostly irrelevant. These guys have basically made it impossible to make any kind of contact with them. Not even a physical address anywhere. Nor any phone numbers or e-mail addresses.

Was ist den nur passiert mit dem unschlagbarem Firefox Browser der von allen nur gelobt wurde und auch sonst meist auf dem erstem Platz gelegen hat bei den Browsern..?

Seit den letzten Updates wurde der FF immer langsamer, braucht ewig zum reagieren, viele Themen werden nicht mehr in der Liste korrekt angezeigt, zum fluessigem arbeiten mit mehreren Tabs inzwischen komplett ungegeignet..!

Wenn ich auf einer Webseite etwas anklicke muss ich warten bis der Browser reagiert, bei anderen zum Beispiel der Chrome / Edge / Opera Browser geht das umgehend mit wenig Verzoegerung.

Kann nur leider sagen neuer ist nicht immer besser und vielleicht wieder auf die alten Werte besinnen und einen Browser fuer Menschen schaffen der es auch Wert ist als Standard Browser gesetzt zu werden.

Ich habe auf jeden Fall genug und behalte ihn nur mehr aus Nostalgischen Gruenden aber zum arbeiten nehme ich schon lange den Chrome Browser und nun endlich auch den Opera Browser als zweites.
Da ich oft auf diversen Webseiten gleichzeitig in einem Account eingeloggt sein will und das sonst nicht geht.

Schade Firefox aber ich hoffe das wird noch mal wieder besser...???

Firefox worked well for me for years making it easier and a better quality browser for using the internet. I got a bad update in July which required me to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. I had to go through all the trouble adjusting settings and install the add ons I used to control advertising and privacy. The book mark function is gone and I cannot find it anywhere in the tools applications. I tried using Microsoft Edge, but I found too much advertising clogging up websites and a lack of privacy. I avoid using the data miners such as Google and Chrome. Firefox is still a better browser, but they need to up their game and make it less buggy. At least I can control the updates manually from installing, but there needs to be a function to turn off updates permanently. There is no need to update when a version of it works well.
