Excellent company with a very competitive price point and no-nonsense services with no vendor lock in. Strongly recommend as a competitor to larger vendors.

I've been a customer for a number of years, and have referred a number of others their way. I've always been very pleased with the service.

On the rare times I've contacted their technical support, I've had a quick turn around and it's been a much better experience than I've had with some other (much larger) companies.

TL;DR - I trust them. You can too.

Mythic Beasts keep true to the old ways.

This is how the internet was and how it should be, not 5 big sites full of screenshots of the other 4, selling adverts for businesses which exist to sell more adverts.

Great domain and email hosting.

I previously used another UK based domain, web and email hosting company to look after a handful of domains for family members and provide email hosting. After their prices increased dramatically two years in a row I looked around for an alternate provider.

I am glad I did. I have a better offering from Mythic Beasts that covers the multiple domains and provides unlimited mailboxes, usable across all the domains.

This is far better than my previous provider who limited the number of mailboxes to a small handful and then only usable by one domain unless I paid per domain,

I have only had one support ticket to change how I was billed and that was handled quickly.

I am a very happy customer and would happily recommend them.

I have been creating and managing websites professionally since 1995. Along the way I have worked with numerous other registrars, hosts, and email providers in the last 30+ years. It took me a long time to discover Mythic Beasts. In the year of our association, I have never met a company that I am more impressed with. Not only are their services robust while being remarkably reasonably priced, but their support has to be the best of any technology company I have ever interacted with. I have had support ticket responses in as quick as three minutes, and never more than 16 hours. (My support requests have only been because of questions, I’ve not had any actual problems with their service.) Further, the decisions and explanations behind their offerings, services, recommendations, and support reveal an unusually deep level of consideration and thoughtfulness. This is reflected in their communications as well, which are neither flashy, gimmicky, nor overhyped. Needless to say, I can recommend Mythic Beasts wholeheartedly.

I've been using Mythic Beasts for many years and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for domain registration, email/web hosting, virtual servers or physical server co-location. Pricing is very reasonable and transparent - you know exactly what you're getting with no surprises, no drama, and no exit fees if you do choose to move elsewhere (but why would you?). Their hosting offering in particular provides various things as standard (complex email filtering, hosting of Flask/Django/Node/Go webapps) that would be expensive premium offerings on other providers, or just plain impossible unless you are prepared to manage your own VM.

Customer support is second to none, no need to fight through an AI chatbot to get your question seen by a human, and the humans in question really know their stuff and will work with you to fix any problems, talking to you on your level (whether that's "my computer won't see my email" or "I upgraded library X in my Python systemd service on my hosting account and I'm getting this message from journalctl...").

Other providers are the noisy kids always shouting "look at me!" Mythic Beasts is the quiet studious one in the corner who just Gets Things Done.

I've had a VPS from Mythic Beasts for quite a while now. The internet connectivity is top-tier, with peering to almost every UK ISP (and to top it off many peers in Amsterdam too for transit-free reach across the EU).
The speed of the SSD's is also incredible, often going beyond several Gbit/s.
Support has also been great too, with very good response times and most importantly technical staff who run the systems answering tickets themselves. Highly recommended by me.

It just works!

I had a domain with a different provider and they removed some essential features.

The Mythic Beasts service does everything I wanted. I've never had a nead to contact their support as the information provided and the way their system works enabled me to move a domain, website & set up email with ease.

Excellent and good value too.

Like many others I had to move my hobby websites and email in a hurry when PlusNet dumped all of its customers into a dustbin called Greenby. Look up its reviews - 99% 1 star! What a revelation Mythic Beasts has been. I’m not a pro but transferring and setting everything up was trivial just following their online guides and everything simply worked first time of asking. Their systems are so straightforward and well documented that even as a novice I’ve had no trouble at all and their pricing is extremely reasonable. My family use a wide variety of email clients but Mythic’s online help has made setting them all up a doddle. As the title says - what a breath of fresh air!

A gem of a firm - fed up with the big (faceless) firms, happy to take your money but disinterested when you run into problems.

Mythic Beasts are responsive, transparent with their pricing and based here in the UK.

Whilst the inability to speak directly over the phone may be seen as a negative, the reality is they are very responsive (and you can digest a written response at your leisure)

I've been hosting websites since 2003. In that time I've been with multiple hosting services and none of them have been great. The oinly good one was sold to a multinational and then became totally unreliable.

I've been with Mythic Beasts now since 2019 and honestly, I've had nothing but a brilliant experience with them. They answer queries promptly and are very helpful. Also uptime since 2019 has been 99.9%+ I've since moved all my domain registrations to Mythic Beasts, and again, superb service. I cannot rate Mythic Beasts highly enough. Forget the rest, Mythic is best!

We recently switched from another supplier and have found Mythic Beasts to be far more responsive, much higher quality and - astoundingly - considerably cheaper than our previous host.

We greatly appreciate the access to the "back end", the extensive online documentation and the responsive support we've received to date.

I have been using mythic beasts for > 8 years for both business and personal hosting projects. Every time I have interacting with their staff they have been extremely helpful and approachable. It's a pleasure to deal with a company where you can speak to people who understand the technology rather than just following a script

I've been using Mythic Beasts for a year and a bit (after fleeing TSOHost following the 123Reg/GoDaddy sellout). They are an excellent Cambridge based company featuring real human beings. And not owned by BT, GoDaddy, etc.
I had just been using them for domain hosting but, with the current train-wreck of Plusnet offloading its email to some incompetent startup, I've moved my email and web hosting to Mythic Beasts too. And it's working great - I'm (so far) a Very Happy Customer (tm).
They do say that they "focus on providing services to technically capable customers" so you need at least some clue, although I'm no guru of t'interweb. If you've got a least the basics, their help documentation is good and their system "just works".

I use mythic for my hobby domains and websites. It just works and is cheaper than the old provider, but much easier to deal with.

I used mythic at my old work to sort an Wordpress blog website, and they were able to fix and migrate it in the same day. Just a totally over and above the service I was expecting.

I've had a couple of personal domains hosted with them since 2011 which is quite a long time now I think about it. I've only had to contact support twice and they helped me out quickly. No complaints.

Competent, professional hosting services, with amazing, responsive, knowledgeable support.

I've been using them for years for domains and DNS. I love their no nonsense approach and decent pricing. They're a breath of fresh air away from all the nonsense upsells and dark patterns of other companies. Mythic Beasts stuff just works and works well.
