Stay away told couldn’t do my alignment because of loose ball joint and clicking suspension strut I said the car is 100% just been checked get a phone call now they will do it took the car straight to my regular garage no problems whatsoever apart from alignment which was still out total scammers booked in for 9.30 didn’t leave until 11.30 really shocked how bad this place is Cheadle national tyres ( Halfords)

Booked on line for 2 tyres to be replaced agreed appointment time 11.30 advised arrive 10 mins early when I arrived sign on door GO TO HALFORDS NEXT DOOR—went to Halfords and there was a big queue people booking in cars and people waiting to pay my turn after 17 mins explained car booked in for 11.30 advised there was a delay of over 2 hours maybe longer has there were 3 cars in front of me —one wanting 4 new tyres and 2 needing tracking and the filter would have to have his lunch
I have used National tyres (Stockport branch) on many occasions (not this Cheadle branch) receiving exceptional service
I left the branch has I did not have time to get the job done
Back at work I phoned the customer number to request refund and to complain I was cut off midway 3 calls finally completing the task on the 4th call
Never ever again will I use National tyres or Halfords—what’s the point of having a booking appointment time when it clearly cannot be met

Easy to use website, good range of tyres and the option of home fitting. Cheaper than some of the other alternatives as well.

Order was confirmed online but when confirming with the garage they said the tyre is not available. Please sell only what you have available.

Had to replace a tyre damaged by vandalism. Wanted it to match the others. Luckily my local NTaA could get hold of one and fit it the same day. I booked online and went down there early, leaving the wheel with them. I got a call saying it was ready 1 hour before the allotted appointment time. Great service, which meant I could get home in good time to fit it to the car, meaning minimum disruption.

The online service is easy to use and offers good value. the service centres in Cheadle and Longley Lane have always provided very good service.

Dropped car at garage 8.15am went for a walk pass time ,I got a phone call to say tyre delivery is late so they will phone me when job is compleated so I went shopping and phoned me when ready 10 out.10 for that. The the tyre fitters were very helpful and polite told me what work they had done

It is very easy to follow, and all is shown what you get for what you pay.
Took less than 5 minutes to book.

Came here for 2 full sets of Bridgestone Weather Control 005s (Evos for the more recent set) for our cars. I consider them a great tyre because they are All Season so are better placed for the occasional snow we have, but more importantly are 'A' rated in wet weather, which we have a lot more of. The prices are keen, but even better when National Tyres are running a special offer. The fitting service was good, although with the second visit, I brought along a National Tyres discount voucher for brake work printed off their website which I was told was no longer valid as "We have now been taken over by Halfords."
Luckily I did not need any brake work doing, so did not have use it, but this is a bit worrying. All staff should be aware of the various offers and vouchers that National Tyres make available for their customers and not flatly refuse them. The staff member in question did not even offer to query it with Head Office, although I would have pressed him to do that if I had needed brake work doing.
Other than that, the service was good.

I arrived early and they completed the job without delay.

Ordered two tyres to be fitted at the Cheadle branch. They were fitted in under 1 1/2 hours by a very helpful Nick. Thanks Nick.
