The tyre fitter turned with and attitude from the get go, clearly wanted to get it done as fast as possible as it was late in day. He did nothing but swear constantly smashed the wheel in to my bumper and damaged 2 off my alloys that are a one of set as they are a custom spray job.

And they need a refund now as he damaged the faces down to the alloy and the wheels are blue and black.

And national tyres are denying they damaged the alloys.

and are not even worried about the fitters outrages behaviour. Which ended up with he saying I was taking crap and take it up with customer service.

I was told by container service that photos should have been taken before fitting and after fitting if the tyres and this was not done.

Amazing service today from (I believe) Adam and Sam who sorted out an emergency issue with a tyre I had recently replaced elsewhere. Seen very quickly and efficiently and they were a pleasure to deal with, credit where credit is due.

Booked and paid for two new front tyres and tracking online. Arrived on time for my appointment and was told they were running late and it would take an hour and a half before the car was ready; which I accepted. Booked the car in, gave them my contact details and off I went. I returned an hour an half later, having not received any contact from them to be told their machine wasn’t big enough to do the tracking and that I needed new back tyres and new brakes. I was a bit frustrated that they took the car off me (that they could see) and didn’t advise that they couldn’t do the tracking and let me wait for an hour and a half before advising me they were only doing half the job and the attitude was really poor. I was also told that I ‘should be grateful they told me they couldn’t do it instead of just taking my money’. I went to the garage around the corner who did my tracking and new back tyres and advised that my brakes were absolutely fine. It took National Tyres 7 days to refund me. When I tried to contact them regarding my experience I was sent around in circles in the website so had to come here instead.

Nothing short of outstanding service this morning from Sam and Rob.

I had a fast puncture and had driven to 3 garages, two who could not help and they either did not have the staff or were too busy, and one who was just downright rude to me.

Arriving at Halfords Autocentre (National Tyres and Autocare) I was immediately acknowledged by Sam, he got Rob straight on it, they identified the offending nail in the tyre and replaced the tyre in a flash.

Their customer service stood out by a mile and I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you to you both.

Absolute waste of time. Ordered two new tyres for my car to be fitted by the mobile tyre fitter. Been cancelled on 3 times now with no explanation. I have booked 3 different days of work to have these tyres fitted to be messed around every time. Called their customer service centre on the 28/02/2024 3 times to make sure they are coming out to fit the tyres and every time I was told they are definitely being fitted. My slot was between 1-6pm and then all of a sudden I get a text message, surprise surprise they have cancelled yet again. So I called their customer service centre again to complain and all I’m told is sorry there isn’t anything we can do, unless you want to drive 20 odd miles to have the tyres fitted at a centre. So I agreed to do this so long as they covered the fuel cost, which I was laughed at by customer service team. Which by the way are the most rude, unwelcoming, depressing people I have ever had the pleasure dealing with. You’re on hold at least 20-30 mins before you get to speak to someone. Honestly they are a joke, don’t bother! awful company that doesn’t care!!

A little update, it was cancelled Yet again now been moved to the 6th of march. Honestly you couldn’t make it up.

Another update, mobile tyre fitter arrived on the 6th as they stated, and what a lovely chap he was. He is a credit to national tyres and Autocare. Great service from him.

After paying just over £600 for x4 tyres and tracking and leaving the car for the half day time slot allocated, I turned up to collect the car (Friday afternoon) only to find the tyres hadn't been done because the tracking was so far out, even though the three or four hour time slot was allocated for the job. After being told I'd need to take another day off work to leave the car for another half day, I watched the staff fit the new tyres and put the wheels back on the car....replacing the wheels back on with a power wrench and not by hand or even torqued up to spec. So I arranged for attempt number two, dropped the car off and again returned at the end of the day to find it still not completed as the tracking equipment wasn't working properly, no phone call for an update I have to add. At this point I was told an engineer was coming to calibrate the equipmentnt and they would confirm via phone call it was fixed so we could arrange another day off work (another days loss of earning) for it to be done....Again no phone call. Today I decided to use kwikfit, and they called me within 30 mins and confirmed the tracking was way out but quoted a price and said it will be completed within the hour if they go ahead. At this point in the phone call, the mechanic said "point to note, all the adjustment bolts are loose and not even finger tight". Eventually, problems solved and the car fixed but after shoddy/lazy workmanship at National Tyres Exeter, leaving customers driving around with loose suspension components! Certainly will not be using the Exeter branch again and I wouldn't advise.

Too busy when I arrived for the tyre fitting so I left the car and went for a coffee. I returned 40 minutes later and the car had not moved. About 5 minutes went by and the job was started. It was completed quickly and. I was advised that the tyres I had ordered and paid form on line were likely to wear quickly and so discussed with the fitter about alternatives, which I eventually settled on.

Very easy to buy tyres online but I don't think you can sort by price which would be helpful. Thank you,

The offer of £10 off disappeared and was impossible to recover. It only re-appeared when I decided to cancel and delete my purchase.

Website changed tyre size I ordered and paid for. The size I ordered weren't in stock. Can't get a refund currently and am out of pocket nearly £120. So now I have no money and no ryres 🤷‍♀️

As a follow on 2 days later, customer services hung the phone up on me.

Good choice of tyres a bit high on pricing

Very helpful staff tyres great value for money plus you can pay over 12 months definitely use them again

Booked van for tyre and wheel balance but, upon arrival, informed wheel alignment not possible for size of van. Website recognised vehicle model according to registration number, so should be smart enough to know that wheel balancing is not available. Still waiting for refund.

Very simple to find the right tyre at the best price I've found.

I wanted to book a puncture repair, I had to book a free tyre check.

Several attempts to use on line ordering over three hours, 'no tyres found' message displayed having entered vehicle number or size required.

Easy ordering and booking a fitting slot.

I had a tyre appointment for 11.30, dropped the car off said I would be back before closing. Got back at 15.30 car not started left after another 1.5 hours having stood outside for 1.5 hours

Tyres were in stock and could make an appointment the next day. Staff were friendly and efficient.
