This is the second time I have had a bad experience from this company....1st time I took my car for an MOT and got loads of advisories, but the mechanics gave me their mobiles to do the job "on the side" (So they find jobs not needed to earn themselves extra money)

Second time my car went for a service I had some Samsung Earbuds 3 stolen from my car, and my reading glasses bent when they riffled through the glovebox and stuffed items back inside.

Earbuds worth £160, glasses all bent worth £210, and they offered me a £50 Halfords voucher....disgusting...AVOID (Halifax, Bull Green)

I bought two new Avon tyres from here when it was national tyres, at the time I was offered lifetime guarantee which I bought. The tyres are less than four (-4) years old and have a minimum of 5mm of tread remaining. I recently noticed one of the tyres going down, there was a screw in the centre of the tyre which is repairable, so I visited this place again to have it repaired with my lifetime guarantee. They refused to do the repair because they said they tyres were past their shelf life and had cracks, so I questioned this and said surely the life of the tyre is until it is worn down the the legal limit of 1.6mm? They said no and basically tried to sell me four new tyres at full price, - no discount to the remaining millimetres of tread left, so this so called 'lifetime guarantee' is absolutely pointless to have in my opinion.
I was as it happens thinking of changing my rear tyres purely because they're about six years old but still good really, and also to have the wheel alignment checked/done as I've had new suspension components fitted. After this experience though, I'll be going somewhere else from now on, I'll never take my car here again.

Booked online, paid in advance. Booked a time slot and when i turned up my tyres wernt there and couldnt get any tyres fitted or my money back.

Quick service on new brakes and discs, great team

What an absolute poor experience. Booked an appointment through lease plan for mobile tyre replacement for morning slot. Kept waiting for 5 hours but no body showed up neither received any communication. Had to chase up and been told that i have to wait another hour. I got late from work and other commitments. Very poor communication and service. Wait is still on.

I was 5min late to a 2pm online tyre fitting appointment. And on arrival I was advised I'd have to wait 45 minutes for three staff to come back from lunch. Not the service I was expecting, after a good experience at National Tyres, Bridlington. But that was before Halfords bought National Tyres out. I obtained a refund and will use a local company in future.

Web Site was clear and very customer friendly, I checked my tyres at my local branch to ensure my order was correct on-line! Reece was your receptionist/technician at the Halifax Branch, Reece was very helpful, polite and gave me great customer service. I ordered the fitting of two wiper blades to be fitted on the day. Easy to navigate around the website. Being a woman who knows nothing about tyres I found it helpful that all I had to do was put in my reg number and it worked it out for me.

Choosing the tyres was no problem, but paying for them was unduly complicated. I opted for the 'pay by instalments' option, and it was so involved for a relatively small amount of money. To add insult to injury, just as I was completing the process the system crashed and I had to start from the beginning again. This time I paid in full on my credit card and the process was much more straightforward.

I bought 4 new all season tyres with good discount online and was able to spread the cost, it was easy to do with no problems.

Excellent service the tyre fitter was professional and courteous. Fitted four tyres on the road side no problems…highly recommended.
