Excellent service. Hit a problem with locking wheel nuts however staff (Natalie ???) were very good, kept me informed and having kept the vehicle overnight managed to sort the issue and fix the problem. Very impressed with the service. Thankyou.
A good visit
I have visited them a few times and always found them helpful and reliable. They are very busy, so I can understand some of the comments about customers having to wait.
When I took my car in today, they said it would be 30 -45 minutes. I got my car back in 30 minutes, so I am very satisfied.
I can thoroughly recommend them.
Very happy with their service
Went down with as was losing air in one tyre, found out it was a puncher, fixed straight away, very helpful and friendly staff
Great service
I called into this garage as I had a slow puncture. The service was outstanding. Natalie in particular is so friendly. While I was waiting there was an elderly lady who had damaged her wheel arch. They patched it up to enable her to drive it to her local dealer, free of charge. I can’t recommend this place enough. The Christmas spirit is alive and well.

NTS though said the price was £285 (£55 more), explained had checked the price online on Halfords website already, and £285 was well over-priced.
Was then offered to join the 'Halfords Motoring Club' and it could be a bit cheaper.
Shame they have taken to ripping customers off - getting done at a garage in Sutton Coldfield for £180!
i can honestly say i have never seen…
i can honestly say i have never seen anything quite like it. I would not trust this garage with a corgi car let alone my families cars.
Staff had no customer service or personal awareness what so ever.
Firstly customer turns up in his Jag estate with the stereo so loud it vibrated the office. turns out he was a member of staff.
I sat in the waiting room next to quite a pleasant chap who was sat next to me drinking a cup of coffee. Turns out he was also a member of staff.
Chap with the beard is then chatting up the girl on reception whittering on about his jacket potato he mom had made him for dinner. Eventually he goes in to the garage area where he proceeds to slag of a customers car swearing repeatedly. As my car is being reversed out he then pretends to reverse out the car he is inspecting messing about pressing the horn as if he is going to reverse in to my car.
He then collects customers another car and again turns the customer stereo on full blast and is laughing about the customers choice of music leaving it playing as loud as it would go.
Whilst i am awaiting my keys and paperwork I asked the lady was everything ok to which the chap on the computer grunted NO and that was it. He did not even turn his head lol. Then a really nice lady walks in to drop her car off while the gentleman is now stood up and with a big smile on her face she said hello, the chap totally blanked her and worked in to the work shop. The girl serving me did not speak to her. Then a different chap walks in and again ignored her. The lady on the till then asked if I would like a quote for the work needed and she was shocked when I said that i would never step foot in this place ever again there is no way I could trust the safety of my daughters car in the hands of these idiot unprofessional people. on a positive not there is a Halfords garage in Brownhills which is really near and the staff there have always been really friendly and professional.
MOT cancelled
I booked an MOT via the Halfords app, (I also paid for the years subscription to their motoring club) about a month before the MOT was due. So it’s booked in for 23rd December. Boom I got a message two days before sating it’s been cancelled, no reason why just cancelled. So I get onto Customer Services and they have no idea why it was cancelled, so they rebooked it. On the day of the MOT they cancelled gain. However this time a chap called to apologise, he stated that the side didn’t have the correct Jack to lift my car so couldn’t do the mot. I’ve now had to book with someone else to stay legal. Geez.

Booked on-line - and wished I hadn't!
Booked on-line for two Michelins, paying an additional fee(?) for a Thursday afternoon slot 15:30. Arrived 10 mins before time as instructed, but manager had no idea of booking - guess they're not checking jobs at the start of the day? After picking up car, noticed that both wheels had been damaged with a deep gouge next to one of the bolt recesses, chipped off paint and scratches at the rim and next to the valve. Despite the order including valve replacement, this also hadn't been carried out. Went back first thing the following morning to inform them of the damaged wheels and non-replacement of valves, to which the manager said that the damage was my word against theirs. I pointed out that the damaged areas were all showing shiny alloy surrounded by brake dust, so were obviously freshly caused - but, no he didn't accept this. The technician also insisted that the valves had been replaced despite my pointing out that they clearly hadn't, what with them being > 6 years old and covered with accumulated road dirt and brake dust. He then unscrewed the dirty cap on one and said "Look, new" to the shiny brass under the cap! At this point, I could see this was going to go nowhere, especially as the manager had by now recited that he'd been in the business for so many years and knew it was impossible for their machines to cause the kind of damage I was showing him etc. The technician then wrote out the customer helpline number and informed me to call that. Guess I should have avoided all this nonsense by cancelling as soon as I arrived, judging by the shocking state of their black hole of a reception, with ceiling falling down, exposed wires and muck everywhere. Don't know about National Tyres in general, but certainly this Sutton Coldfield branch needs either sorting out or closing down to prevent imposing this kind of bad service on unsuspecting customers, where all looks rosy and professional on the website when you book...
..expect there to shortly follow one of the randomised generic "so sad to hear of your experience..." replies from the unfortunate, but sympathetic parent company Halfords, then nothing after that (as usually reported by the other negative reviews).

Price differed from online payment but they stuck to ‘no hidden ‘ costs and fitted more expensive battery at no extra cost. Rang me when fitted. Thank you very much .

Staff were friendly and perfect job so…
Staff were friendly and perfect job so this would’ve got a 5* rating but the head office were clearly overbooking work online for the amount of staff available my job was booked for 0930 but was done at 1130.. I could wait but not everyone can and it’s putting staff under stress and causing issues for customers so head office need to readdress the staffing or workload as this isn’t acceptable.
