Useful guide
I used the Money Steps to help write a budget and it was really quick easy and simple to follow.
I’d definitely recommend even if you’re not in debt, it’s a really good tool to help organise your finances.

I feel very upset as I just plucked up…
I feel very upset as I just plucked up courage to call and spoke to a ‘more mature lady’ and I had to end up saying not to worry.
It felt rushed and i felt like i was causing her to be inconvenienced!
I’m going through a lot financially and have previously called had had such lovely help and reassurance.
Today was certainly not like that and I will never call again.
It seemed to be ‘you can’t just do this or that’ which I was fully aware of and that’s why I was calling for advice.
Actually cried on ending the call!

Advice needed, advice received
I had to deal with an issue that I had never came across and required advice. I was given an advice that wasn't what I expected but it seemed the correct advice which I followed and time will tell if it was the correct but for now I'm convinced and the human way I was dealt with was fantastic as well. "Bedside manners" still go a long way.

I found myself unexpectedly in serious…
I found myself unexpectedly in serious debt to recovery agents. In my panic I called national debt line and was given ample time on phone to really look into the situation I faced and to resolve how I was going to sort the fines and be able to budget for it

I was very nervous before I rang national debt line because I thought they might judge me
I was so wrong the advisor who took my call was brilliant
She helped me draw up a summary budget and a full household budget together with a plan to move forward
After the phone call I feel really positive about my future
