Absolutely disgusting company. I will never use ScotRail after learning about the mass killing of pigeons in their stations. These birds are not “pests,” they are living creatures trying to... もっと見る

What are Network Rail thinking
What are Network Rail thinking? On Remembrance Sunday (10th Nov 24), whilst many people including disabled veterans are travelling on the trains to pay their respects, Network Rail are planning extensive network disruptions to do maintenence, increasing travel times and the use of buses by disabled veterans. What idiot in Network Rail authorised this Sunday of all Sundays to carry out maintenence. No wonder they are struggling to keep customers or the general public happy with their service. They need to employ people with a common sense of decency and who can make correct decisions.

I was recently travelling with my 87 year old mum from
Paddock wood to Canterbury. My mother is a little unstable on her legs sometimes and I asked at Paddock wood if a guard could help if needed. The guards were amazing both on the outward and return journeys. I wanted to say a huge thank you to all that helped. Everyone was friendly and seemed to go over and above their duties.
all good and on time
Strimming sidings at 10.40 at night if residents were doing gardening at that time we'd be in trouble with noise authorities
I live in sheltered housing flats at ponterfract ponterfract baghill tuns at back of some flats near ours they were strumming the grass at 22.45pm tonight I rang rail track and complained they said well gor saftey it has to be done at night well if that's case.
From what I can gather trains go from monkhill to baghill.
Do they could stop trains for a few nights if that's case let prople get off trains at monkhill and pick their cars up from there we only have a few trains a day coming from baghill I'm not stupid ive researched it I was absolutely livid
Network rail not caring about safeguards
Someone hit by a train in Oxford area today, leaving all trains cancelled. Really sad that someone was struck and hoping they are OK. This unfortunately is a common occurrence. I would very much like to know what Network Rail are doing to safeguard passengers from trains. Whether the person today meant to be on the tracks or not, it's far too easy for anyone to access. Late services and cancellations and reduced services leads to overcrowded trains and platforms. It's a wonder it doesn't happen more often
Terrible neighbours. Terrible customer service.
Terrible neighbours. A gentleman came out to control the weeds that were encroaching on my property in autumn. He said to get back in touch in spring as that was the growing season and best time to race. I did as I was advised, only to be met with spoiling behaviour on their behalf. They won’t do anything, despite their invasive weeds that have destroyed several fence panels and even the concrete fence posts ! And they are pushing up in my garden and even through concrete paths around my house. Apparently I can’t go on their land go tackle it but since they won’t do so, they advised me to pour weed killer over my 6 foot fence to deal with their weeds for them. And deal with their weeds on my side while I’m at it. Or get a contractor in at my expense to deal with their invasive weeds. They asked me to send pictures of the damage and then backtracked and said I’d have to start a new claim. Why send photos then? Illogical. This all did appear to be contradictory to their policies advising to be good neighbours. The worker who came out in autumn was a nice guy and logical. Customer service executive and the maintenance manager that they liaised with were just terrible and service was rediculous. Really truely terrible. Had a problem recently with energy supplier and experience was worlds away with their efforts to help and so appreciated, but this experience with this company has taken so much time and has been so incredibly stressful. Terrible
I could not be happier with the service…
I could not be happier with the service and kindness of Network Rail staff today in particularly Asenay Ali. I slipped 3 discs in my back and he went above and beyond to help. Thank you 🙏
Trains always late cancelled or drivers…
Trains always late cancelled or drivers just don’t show up. Shambolic service!
Network Rail Tree Felling
Network Rail have felled a number of trees alongside the rail embankment in SE12 over the Easter holidays, despite it being nesting season and other animals producing young, such as fox cubs. Neighbours were not informed about the tree felling, only a notice of essential works to secure the embankment.
I believe that Network Rail have a commitment to 'managing lineside as an asset, improving communication with nearby communities and leading cultural change within Network Rail around valuing nature and the environment'. According to Network Rail's response to the Varley report, there is 'a suite of template notification letters and leaflets to ensure that lineside neighbours and stakeholders are kept updated both before and after work takes place to manage vegetation on the railway. Examples of best practice communication ... have been produced.' These may well have been 'shared with the route teams [to] set a clear and consistent standard for vegetation management communications' but they certainly haven't been employed here.
Not only were there bats, foxes, birds and other wildlife living in and around these trees, but the view from several houses on the street now goes straight through to the depot, which will be to the serious detriment of residents' wellbeing. I can't imagine the mindset that would deem it appropriate to undertake this kind of work without any consultation or at the very least notification of such an extreme step.
A number of neighbours have complained to the Network Rail executive, including the Biodiversity Manager and PR Manager, we were informed the trees were either dead or dying, yet photos taken at the time show healthy trees being felled. We have also contacted our local MP and Councillor. Trees are still being felled this week and we are yet to get a satisfactory answer as to how this devasting damage to this rich habitat will be offset. Ironically Lewisham Council are proposing to make this a nature trail.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Unfortunately one of our students threw a bag of shopping over a bridge in south wigston today, rang Network Rail, not expecting any help , but a very helpful, polite man said he would see what he could do. Not only did he get someone to retrieve the bag but delivered it back to our school by another lovely helpful man. A huge thank you for amazing service .
Disabled Harassement
Disabled Harassement. This company have over the last 3 years bullied and harrassed my vunerable extremely ill disabled mother. They are experts in bullying an elderly lady and have absolutely no morals to speak of. If you write to them and have the evidence to show, it is ignored so they do not have to address their behaviour.
I wish I could 0 stars
I wish I could 0 stars. Despite many complaints about Contractors working for Network Rail at Tulloch Station in Scotland including HGVs blocking access to resident homes, dangerous driving and large amounts of litter being left, nobody ever came back with a solution. Lots of half hearted apologies but the same issues just keep occurring. Now our tarmac access lane is subsiding to due to weight and volume of contractor's vehicles and Network Rail don't care-- that is until one of their vehicles get stuck or damaged!!!!!
More interested in religion than good rail service?
Observed Islamic religious messages displayed on the Departures board at Kings Cross station yesterday. Network Rail should be more concerned with providing a good train service instead of promoting or celebrating religion. And BTW over many years I have never seen any Christian or Hindu messages displayed there. Meanwhile, rail service has been deteriorating over the past few years.
Thank you network rail for waking up…
Thank you network rail for waking up the residents of Elm grove and Harrington avenue Hoylake CH47 at 2am until 3am this morning lights shining and banging work on the tracks. Total disregard for the residents who have to get up early for work. Well done, hope you are proud of yourself......
We had a situation when my Grandaughter…
We had a situation when my Grandaughter caught an incorrect train and ended up at New St Station, Birmingham. She was taken to the ticket office by a wonderful lady who intended to purchase my Grandaughter a ticket and to take her to the correct train. At the ticket office the absolute star named Vinne took control of the situation. He telephoned me to reassure me and even arranged a taxi to get her home safely !! This man is an absolute star!!! Such a helpful man, even calling to make sure that she had arrived home safely. Such kindness from the lady on the train and then Vinne. I am so impressed and grateful, thank you so so much. Excellent!
Sort the train drivers out who strike
All trains cancelled tonight, spoke to a 4 eyed geek at Kjngs Cross who eventually identified himself as a train driver manager, not helpful,
In fact uselesss. My advice is train up more drivers and get rid of the disloyal and unreliable ones.
Horrible Big Bush
Hi There.
Just an update to let you know I got my MP involved in this matter and she has had the same response as I have had. NONE
So now after 15 months of complaining the matter is still being ignored by Network Rail.
The Safety Issue, still outstanding.
Complained many times to Network Rail about their overgrown vegetation, climbing and penetrating our bordering wall.
Cracks are appearing but still Network Rail ignore this problem.
From their TrustPilot rating it looks like this review won't make any difference, so far I've been proved right.
Let's hope the wall doesn't fall down onto anyone or the track.
As a stakeholder in our community Network Rail, please do the neighbourly thing and fix your overgrown property.
Data collection scams - breach of data privacy
Network Rail publishes entry level jobs that do not exist.
I tried to apply for a job recently and after I registered with all my details, CV, employment history etc, my application was unsuccessful because I refused to be included in their "pool" of candidates for future consideration. After realising the scam I requested for deletion of my data and my careers hub account. It is called THE RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN.
And now they play crazy and treat me as an employee and request for passport to proceed for deletion of my data!!! When I was only a candidate for a fake role!!!
Network rail as it seems is a scam company breaching data privacy laws!!! Stay away and be careful when applying.
My son just came from Europe where…
My son just came from Europe where train ticket are cheap for a long journey ! I wanted to visit a friend in Devon from Milton Keynes! even advance looking was 157 pounds! You must be nuts to think that I will ever pay you that money . Why is your greedy strike for? Where all the money goes? It’s pure theft your price! Little mangers pocket massive money to their private bank! The UK is such a rip off!
Stop punishing poor parents trying to…
Stop punishing poor parents trying to do something for their children at the start of the school summer break while struggling financially, all we need is cancellations and loss of little money we’ve got and PUNISH YOUR CORRUPT BOSSES INSTEAD. You are rolling in money and benefits while making other people’s lives miserable. Greedy awful lot. I never even travel by train (can’t afford your fares) but it’s a school break and I saved some money to take my child on a little trip, just to have it cancelled. What a waste my money and effort.
You are despicable!
