It was a long and challenging process, particularly due to delays from the buyers’ side, but Jayne and Rebecca were always proactive, responsive and efficient. They consistently followed things up and kept us updated, helping to move the transaction forward even during the most difficult stages.

I have to personally thank Victoria Williams for her great communication with me. She actually was the conveyancing solicitor dealing with my customer's buyer so the third in the chain. She was always very responsive and a delight to deal with so I just wanted to acknowledge that this is the kind of solicitor you want in your chain! Extremely poor experience with Nexa Law. What should have been a straightforward first-time house purchase turned into months of unnecessary stress, delays and chasing.

Our solicitor was Samuel Ogden, and the communication throughout was extremely disappointing. We were repeatedly left chasing for updates and pushing for progress rather than feeling that our purchase was being properly managed.

One of the worst parts was being told by Samuel’s assistant that our case was not important because they had other cases to finish. To be told this as first-time buyers dealing with one of the biggest purchases of our lives was completely unacceptable and incredibly unprofessional.

We also experienced delays around the contract pack, enquiries, our Lifetime ISA, exchange and completion, despite repeatedly making clear what our deadlines were and that we were ready to proceed.

We had to challenge various fees and charges, including a Lawyer Checker charge which appeared to relate to a service already listed as included in the core services. We also had issues regarding a proposed gift-related fee involving our own matured Child Trust Fund savings.

Eventually, we had to make a formal complaint about the service we received.

I appreciate that not every delay in conveyancing is within a solicitor’s control. However, the lack of communication, urgency and ownership of our purchase was extremely frustrating.

For a first-time buyer, I expected guidance, reassurance and proactive communication. Instead, we were left constantly chasing our own solicitor.

Based on our experience, I would not use Nexa Law again and would not recommend them.

Selling a lease hold property in Coventry. It took 14 months as the waiting for the chain of buyer’s property. Anyway, we done it patiently.Wesley and Sara are very friendly and very professional and well managed for the difficult and stressful situation of the management company and buyer’s property selling process.

They did great , fantastic and superb.
I am dealing with them in 2027 to sell another property.

We went into the house sale really confident, Nexa replying well and helping us out with the relevant steps. Unfortunately our chain was disrupted by probate, which I understand that the solicitors have no control over. Over the 4 month period in which probate was occuring, we didn't receive a single email from Nexa apart from replies. We were chasing for answers and wasn't reassured of any form, even an email from them saying that they haven't heard anything would've been better than not hearing from them at all.

When probate finally was finished, it felt like we were still chasing however were getting more information about the move.
On move in day we collected our keys we received a congratulations email titled with the incorrect names.
The fact our final exchanging emails labelled us with mine and my partners name completely wrong just topped it for us.

Overall, the experience was extremely stressful with a lack of communication throughout.

We felt genuinely supported by our solicitor and her assistant. We didnt need to chase because we knew we could trust them to progress the purchase. This was our first house purchase, so it was great to have a solicitor we could rely on throughout.

A long time friend of mine recommended the unknown firm of Nexa Law to me as I required a conveyance transaction. The team including Wesley and Sara were on hand every step of the way, and kept me fully informed of progress despite the frustrating and untimely responses of the buyer's legal team. They offered great support and reassurance to me at a difficult time, on occasions outside normal office hours, and I can therefore recommend them without doubt to any potential clients looking to use their services.

Wesley & Sara did a fantastic job getting our house buy through super fast. In normal circumstances stances this would have taken double the time however, they made it work. No problem communicating through emails with prompt responses. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the Doncaster, Isle of Axholme and surrounding areas.
