Poor rating throughout for a reason. Police called as door man pushed a girl to the ground unconscious and no arrest made, apparently the girl hit the door man with the hand bag as he was rough handling her friend off the stairs and as a result she hit him with the hand bag across the head... Not sure what restraining methods they learn, but as a result one girl ended up in Hospital with severe concussion another one bruised as was also grabbed and pushed. I understand that drunk and disorderly not ideal, but door man and police should know better how to handle such situations. Police was more concerned of the girl that swang her handbag at the door man then being pushed to the ground unconscious... the justice system is failing over and over again. People that supposed to protect you are the most corrupted predators. So where do you go ? What do you do ? Who's going to bring justice ?
P S. This could result to death very easily...one punch, one push... This brain dead individual still working as a door man, no consequences for him as such, Police told the girls that they started it so basically not interested to fail charges against the door man... I'm speechless...

Deeply disappointed with Northamptonshire Police. I reported drug dealing and anti-social behaviour (ASB) in my area, hoping for a swift intervention, but my report was completely ignored. Experiencing this kind of criminality on your doorstep makes you feel incredibly unsafe, stressed, and let down. It is disheartening to realize that law-abiding citizens are left to feel helpless while criminal activity goes unchecked. I am sure I am not the only resident who feels abandoned by the very system that is supposed to protect us. The community deserves better responsiveness and a real commitment to public safety.

ÌThe worst police force in the country. Rather then dealing with drug crimes,violen crime, hate crime and speeding and noisy motorbikes in Northamptonshire they are only interested in prosecuting drivers for minor offences like expired MOT. They really need to get theire priorities right. You dont see them stop and search suspects on the streets or walk the beat but instead stay in there car all day trying to catch law abiding citizens who go about their life trying to make a living and get harrassed for minor traffic infringements like an expired MOT. Even after telling them I had booked a MOT and had proof they still prosecuted me. No wonder police get a bad reputation. They can use there discretion but instead only want to attack motorists. They are a disgrace to the uniform they wear. They sit and wait in unmarked police cars waiting to catch motorist. They have no other crimes to fight but want to constantly hound drivers . What a waste of our council tax money is being spent on. An embarrassment of a force. Go an catch real criminals and stop harassing drivers

You inform them of a crime being committed like me I was explicitly verbally threatened with violence by my neighbour and they don’t do anything. They do not care about cases of harassment they say to you “try to keep things civil.” I end up feeling unsafe in this town because lunatics like my neighbour get off Scott free and roam the streets because the police are “powerless”. What a disgrace.

In 2025, our family experienced three separate incidents, and in each case, we feel the authorities have not taken our concerns seriously.
1. Someone hit my cousin’s parked car and drove away. We filed a report and provided CCTV footage, but we were simply told to claim the damage through insurance.
2. My daughter was smoking in a marketplace when a woman stared at her in an intimidating manner, causing my daughter to drop her cigarette. The woman picked up the cigarette, placed it in my daughter’s pocket, and took £20 from her. She then boarded the same bus as my daughter, acting as if nothing had happened. We reported this incident to the police, but they said there was no evidence or footage and closed the case.
3. My daughter was crossing the car park at Aldi when a car hit her and drove away. We reported the license plate, color, and model to the police. Although there is CCTV footage of the incident, it was deemed unclear, and since the car hit her at a slow speed, the case was closed.

In all three cases, we feel that our reports were not taken seriously, and the authorities claim there is “no evidence,” despite us providing detailed information. This has led us to lose trust in the handling of these incidents.

I just call them to report somebody tried to open my car. The bag is still there, with possible fingerprints on and I have have photos.
They told me to report online and hang up. The lady was pretending she didn’t understand my English. Really racist

UPDATE: I did the online report and their reply is no crime been committed.
Probably they look at my name and they said f… this guy.
Imagine I it was me trying to open peoples cars, I would’ve been deported next day

Continued abuse of power. Poor understanding of the law.Go out of their way to harass,bully,victimise and intimidate vulnerable disabled people. Protect perpetrators of crime. They need to be closed down

Absolute disgrace and not fit for purpose to a large extent unable to even keep to statements they make or to keep young vulnerable people safe they are a prime example that the public have lost all faith in the police !!!!

I feel extremely sad i have pay money to them from my council tax.

The first point of contact in any organisation or service needs to be looked at , call handlers are quite rude dismissive, no customer service, no empathy lacking compassion for people who are calling for help
They are rude , disrespectful ,very quick to judge people yet have no experience, no expertise in this area/field,
The training and development department needs to provide refresh training , and increase compassion /empathy and develop good communication skills , regardless of language barriers, often police are called to attend to legitimate concerns and unacceptable behaviours
Police have a legal duty to care ,protect , communities regardless of diversity
I think there should be a designed survey going out to the community to determine how people feel about their contact with this highly valued service, the survey must be anonymous to ensure people feel free to express their views, negatives and positive. The survey must be conducted and analysed by an independent person to determine and highlight themes and patterns with a view make changes. They are serving the communities, not the other way round ,
I’m must say I highly commend Some of the officers are absolutely brilliant when attending or responding and many sensitive situations with respect and empathy
“when others run away , instead some officers run towards extreme frightening situations to save lives, and meet their scope of practice

I would like to say a big thank you to Chris who came out. He sorted the problem straight away and was really helpful pleasent and kind. Really do recommended this police officer.

I would like to thank PC1897 HANDY and PC1465 BAXTER.
I Called for help on the 24.8.2024, as I found myself in a situation I could not handle.
The Police attended the address within less than 5 minutes.
I explained what happened, and both officer's escorted me to my home address, and spent a good hour with me, listening to my present problems.
Both officers were extremely understanding and kind, and offered some services that can help safeguard myself to prevent any future happenings.
I did take on board there advice and I am truly thankful to both officers.

Everything you both did has been very much appreciated.

If I could I would give them 0 stars. I reported a crime on Friday 28/06/2024. I was expecting an officer to come out and investigate. No one has been out. I called again on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday to share my concerns, still no visit. I have been left feeling unsafe and scared for my children and I. I am meant to have an emergency alert on my address because of the serious domestic abuse that I have suffered. I am horrified by their response. They have lied and said that someone tried to call me. I have received no calls. No care about our safety. I have waited for the resolution team to contact me. When I did receive a Telephone call Today the man told me that he could do nothing. He is only Office based when I asked him if he had any knowledge about domestic abuse he told me no because they have a separate team for this. I am utterly Shocked about their lack of care and compassion. No wonder there has been so many serious case reviews in Northamptonshire when this is My experience. My Youngest disabled child Stayed awake all Friday night. I tried to reassure him that the police would come and help us, however three days later they still have not turned up.😪

So I called this morning looking for advice. I had the estate agent illegally break in and enter my property when I was not at home and no notice given to me.

The joke of an officer told me it's a civil matter. I told him that's wrong and asked for his name, he spat something out, I think he said Darryl or Darren, then said I'll put you through to someone else and cut me off.

Van KX67CVS driven by lapel number 1980 a ginger dude wearing the thickest glasses you’ve ever seen accompanied by lapel number 1089 a short bald guy on 23/02/24 at 15:50 (school kids time!) passed 2x large one way signs, double lines at the street end and arrows the wrong way up our residential street to pull up outside our house and sit on their phone and laptop. When I challenged the driver the passenger backed him saying it was just a mistake, they then said they would drive the rest of the way up the road (still the wrong way) to turn around and not do a 3 point turn. When I stopped them they both got out of the van and tried to intimidate me to let them commit further offences stating I was in the wrong for obstructing the road?!!!? 😂
These jokers need to be held accountable instead of abusing their position and also someone who needs the Hubble telescope attached to either eye to even see should maybe not be allowed to drive a police vehicle

I have been trying to report a dangerous bus driver, but on their 101 line, I waited 1 hour 17 minutes to then be cut off, phoned back and was on hold for 15 minutes to be cut off again.
