The incompetence and arrogance of the new Northern Trust is breathtaking. I sau ‘new’ b/c they used to be excellent. Now, with the new regime, they’ve dumped clients with less than $10 million investment, it’s a corporation without accountability, anonymous hierarchy, and 800 numbers. It’s taken over SEVEN MONTHS for them to transfer my account to another trust bank, and so many of their staff have fled to other places. First they lost 1000s of dollars by ignoring client investment instructions, wouldn’t reimburse… now, along with charging horrendous feed for what should have taken a couple of months…not sorting the tax situation, now this: it’s truly a nightmare. Avoid N. Trust at All costs!

If you have a loved one that passed away and there's death benefits due you; don't expect it to be an easy transaction to collect. They try every trick to hold on to your money. Probably one of the most incompetent group I've ever dealt with.

They completely screwed up my ira roll over! I caught it and after hours on the phone finally they corrected it...to add insult to injury they continued to screw up with the irs form! I've heard from several friends who work for companies who farm out to them that N.T. is a mess. Employees are too entitled to go to work so they stay home and screw up. Apparently N.T. has not figured out how to use tech to ensure quality control! No wonder a.i. will take over jobs because the entitled ones have no attention span, can't think critically and or don't want to/or don't know how to focus on work!!!! It's a huge problem and this company is NOT TRUST WORTHY/COMPETENT ETC!!!!

This might explain why New York voters selected a Communist Mayor!
Today, December 5th, 2025, I received another Fake pension check from the Northern Trust (on behalf of Morgan Stanley) where they regularly sent the checks by mail and charged me $35 wire transfer as per the attach two files. It is not even a smart way to scam your own retirees!!!!!
I already returned all 2025 checks by mail dated 11.07.2025 to Morgan Stanley, New York Main Office.  I clearly stated that I found their behavior and deliberate  inappropriate accounting are truly appalling to any common sense, decency and trustworthiness.
Can anyone imagine how naive you look when you send checks by mail and deduct wire transfer? I just wonder if you are not that smart, why any potential Investors trust your judgement to handle their finances?

Almost scammed me from my families trust! Be very careful with these guys.. very shady!

Northern Rail consistently fails to provide a reliable service. Trains are frequently delayed or cancelled, and the situation has become so common that it’s almost impossible to plan a journey with confidence.

If you want to book in advance, you run the risk of paying for a ticket on a service that may never run. But if you wait until the last minute to see whether the train is actually going ahead, ticket prices have already shot up. This feels like a form of price gouging; punishing passengers for trying to avoid the uncertainty Northern Rail themselves create.

A train operator should provide reliability and fairness. Unfortunately, Northern Rail is failing on both fronts.

They are more concerned with their political influence. They are masters of controlling everything and legally responsible for none of it. Even the simplest thing, such as ordering checks for that "relationship account" (family trust), they make it very difficult. Account manager is always away indefinitely and the person referred to, doesn’t want to get his hands dirty. Seems they like to create unnecessary difficulties, especially for those they wish to entrap in an adult guardianship- very profitable.

They have a usdt AI trading platform that lures in people with the promise of money but it's a lie. They start you off with a VIP0 level where you get 2.8usdt everyday as long as you do a "task" and once you get enough you can do a minimum withdrawal of 10usdt. You can probably tell where I'm going with this. Fast track to a few days, I've gotten like 16usdt, so I want to see if it's true. Can I really withdraw 10usdt to my crypto wallet? The answer is a hard no. Got in touch with their customer care on telegram (yes, telegram) and I'm told I need to upgrade to VIP1 so that I can withdraw. Yeah, total scam. When I ask why they're not upfront about this when someone signs up, I was told to eff off. Verbatim. Point blank. Another red flag is that you can't opt out or close your account, so beware.

These people apparently own Lanley Homes, worst house builder I have ever come across.

We have waited 4 months to sell shares held in Luxembourg for 5 months without success. We keep getting promises that it is being escalated and nothing happens. You call again and snother document is required and the process repeats itself. Neverending circle.

I don't know how this company has no reviews it's a rip off they have stole thousands of dollars from my grandfather's trust that we inherited & they pass the buck like it's no big deal please if you wanna have this coming help you with a trust think again you'll escape from being rip offed by these professional rip offs
