I will not buy again as it’s halal. This is not British or ethical. I emailed the company to ask what they meant by halal and they haven’t even responded. I now buy my collagen elsewhere.

Product exactly as described , I simply add to my morning coffee, quick delivery and I love ethos of the brand/s

I am really enjoying cooking with Ossa Organics Ghee. Really enhances the flavour of our meals. Lovely clean product well presented.

Halal, and not disclosing it properly

This company use religiously slaughtered animals for their products, totally unacceptable and shameful that they do not actively make people aware of this fact so we can choose not to support animal cruelty

Love Ossa organic gelatin, collagen and bone broth. Really decent company, buy from them regularly.

For almost a year, I've relied on Ossa, and it's made a significant difference in my digestive health—my reflux symptoms have notably decreased after just a few months. While I can't pinpoint any changes in my skin, likely due to age, my primary reason for trying it was for rheumatoid arthritis. However, I began other treatments simultaneously, so it's hard to say if Ossa made a difference there.The only downside for me is the high cost, which is quite burdensome.

Overall, I've had a positive experience with Ossa Organic and appreciate the quality of their ingredients.

I recently started using their Certified Grass-Fed Collagen Peptides powder and also tried their Tallow Potato Crisps for the first time about 10 days ago. Here are my pros and cons for both:

Ossa Organic Certified Grass-Fed Collagen Peptides

Pros

Rapid Gut Health Improvement: What I can say for sure is that my gut health has improved since trying these products.

Easy Protein Boost: I have early onset osteoarthritis due to abnormal tendons and cartilage and was advised to significantly increase my protein intake. Mixing this into my morning coffee is an easy way to meet that goal without adding significant fat or calories.

Dissolves Perfectly: Unlike some reviews I’ve read, I've had zero issues dissolving the powder. It blends seamlessly into hot coffee every morning.

Tasteless & Odourless: It is genuinely flavourless, integrating into my routine without changing the taste of my drinks.

High Quality: The product is clean and well-sourced in many respects. Grass-fed proteins have a superior nutritional profile and I firmly believe, and my view is backed by science, that an important aspect of optimising the nutritional profile of our food is to feed any animals in our food chain a species-appropriate diet.

Cons & Concerns

Sourcing/Certification Concerns: I am slightly concerned to note that the collagen is sourced from Argentinian beef that is Halal-certified. While I am not an expert on the certification process in Argentina, I am unsure if a foreign Halal certification necessarily prioritises the high animal welfare standards I personally look for in grass-fed products. This ambiguity is a slight deterrent.

Too Soon to Tell on Results: It's too early to say whether these products will improve my hair and nails, or directly impact my joint health, but the gut benefits I've seen in just 10 days are promising.

Ossa Organic Tallow Potato Crisps

Pros

Superior Texture & Satisfaction: These crisps feel substantial, almost like thick-cut crisps (I checked several times, they aren't thick-cut, they're just well-made thin cut chips!). The clean fat provides a lasting feeling of satisfaction.

UK Appeal: I think people in Scotland and other parts of the UK who prefer using lard for frying fish and chips will really appreciate the natural, rich flavour profile of the tallow used here.

No Seed Oils: A huge selling point is the use of 100% grass-fed beef tallow instead of industrial seed oils.

Ethical Character: I also appreciate the straight-forward honest statement on the back of the packet that this product is not suitable for vegetarians. Other companies meet vegetarians and vegans with passive-aggressive marketing: Ossa delivers a clear message with kindness and I applaud them for that.

Cons

Mouthfeel and taste (Subjective): While I appreciate this aspect, some people may not enjoy the natural emollience of tallow, which can leave a slight film in the mouth. This is a natural characteristic of tallow, which also imparts a slight beefy odour. I like it, others might not.

Availability/Cost: They can be slightly harder to find and more expensive than mainstream brands.

Overall, Ossa Organic provides excellent, clean-label products that align with a high-protein, healthy fat diet. I will need to trial the collagen for several months to assess whether it improves my joint health, however, I am already experiencing gut health benefits. I hope the brand can offer more transparency on their specific animal welfare audits for their international supply chain in the future.

I bought 6 portions of chicken broth, one was damaged open, I immediately contacted the customer service and they told me that this happens during transport and they refunded the one broken portion, but I still think that it was disappointing and that they should find a way to sort it out. Also their chicken broth was totally watery and tasteless. Very expensive for what it was.

Such a wholesome brand, every product is great. Even watching their Instagram is fun and interactive, so many recipes to follow. Thank you for keeping us healthy.

Unacceptable customer service all round. I had to delay my delivery due to a family emergency. I contacted them to delay delivery and the delivery company (Royal Mail) left the large box of bone broth outside of a fridge where it perished then delivered the perished items to me a week later. Both OSSA Organics and Royal Mail wanted nothing to do with the circumstances of the perished goods. It had to go in the bin.

I've been using Ossa for nearly a year now and have found it to be super helpful in gut health - prior to using (and after a few months of using) I found that my reflux lessened immensely. I can't really say if its helped with skin because im probably past the point if it having any effect there. I originally started using it for my RA but i also started a few other things at the same time so not sure its helped, maybe.

Only thing is the price it is very steep for me personally.

Love Ossa and their sister brand Fierce Nature! Love their ethos, quality of ingredients (organic etc.) I had a query about their honey & I recieved a quick & in depth email answering my question. Amazing quality - organic, raw, unpasteurised/unfiltered etc. I placed an order and due to courier handling the honey had leaked, I emailed Ossa and it was resolved straight away and they were really kind and understanding about it - amazing customer service! I've replaced my order & will continue to shop with Ossa! Thankyou!

Ossa Beef bone broth has become a staple in my kitchen .You can really taste the quality.

well im drinking Ossa Collagen powder and it is really good for me, it is tasteless and i love it having in my coffee, and one thing for sure i’d like about this product is it is not powdery unlike other products that almost like flour and having an after taste

if you want to do yourself a flu free favour, invest in your health by treating yourself with nutritious bone broth by ossa organic

There is no indication of size of jar ghee,,it looks very small ,would not last long for normal cooking and postage £5.99 .willstick to store to buy therefore ,,

I’ve been using Ossa collagen powder for a couple of years now and love the products and the brand. Unfortunately on this occasion, I placed an order of some products that never reached me. Royal Mail informed me the delivery was damaged and they were returning it to the sender. Ossa would not send me replacement goods without receiving the items back from Royal Mail. It’s now over two weeks and they still apparently haven’t got them back. I requested a refund to purchase products elsewhere but they have still charged me shipping and I never even set eyes on the package. Fair enough if I had received the package but I didn’t. Royal Mail said the box was like mush and the contents was like slime. I understand that would be an issue due to the courier but that should be dealt with through them not through any fault of mine and having the expense of shipping for something I never received and now have to find an alternative brand which I’m pretty gutted about due to liking this brand and its ethos.
