Stressful service and more costly than advertised!

Called the company 30 mins before arrival as per instructions! It took them 1 hour 15 minutes to turn up. No calls to advise that they were late so I had to chase them! They said there was traffic (ironic that a company whose job is the collection of cars cannot manage the traffic for a relatively short journey ... they should at least warn you when you first call them that they may be late) and they'd be there in 10 minutes .... they said that 4 times. This time ate into check in time and increased stress levels just before our holiday!

Then I was told that you have to pay the short term parking tickets. To add insult to injury I had to pay £12.70 instead of £6 because they were late. The guy collecting my car just shrugged his shoulders and walked off!

I wrote to the email address provided and 6 days later they sent an email back saying they were not responsible for airport parking charges despite the fact that they took an additional 45 minutes which bumped the costs up.

Please factor in an extra £12 (minimum) to any quotes they give you ... or more importantly don't use them!!

HYBRID/ELECTRIC CAR OWNERS BEWARE

I don’t know if anyone else has had this experience (felt like it was specially because my car is a hybrid) but upon arriving back from Florida (tired, jet lagged, just wanting to get home) I was told that they couldn’t start my car.

A lot of back and forth, waiting in a cafe with tired and grumpy kids, and was told the battery was flat. They had a car guy who might be able to jump it, but it’d be £50. In the state I was in I didn’t question this and shortly after giving them the ok I’m the car was going again and we made our way to the pick up point.

However - I’ve not had an issue with the battery before or after using this company, and on reflection a lot of what he was saying made no sense (conflating the 12V battery with the motor battery level for example).

I don’t know if the problem was genuine or not, but if you’re a hybrid of electric car owner, and this happens to you, question it!

Other than that, no issues with drop off/pick up or other charges like other people, but communication pre-drop off was pretty chaotic.

Wouldn’t use again.

Left car at Heathrow for 2 weeks having used compare parking site to use Indigo/ Karparking site. Car was returned covered in some kind of sticky residue and what looked like enormous amounts of bird excreta. Left many burns that had to be t cut/polished out. Where on earth they park the car and what causes the copious crap covering the car would love to know...
Also how they can still be included on the comparison site after several reviews saying the same thing (which of course I wish I had read).

Late picking me up and lied on the phone about being ‘five minutes away’ then driver went to the wrong terminal. Last guy I spoke to was rude and dismissive. Got the strong vibe that was the way he generally spoke to women, and doubt men have a better experience. I got ‘m’aam’ed a lot. Come pick up I phoned six times with no answer. Phone rings out. Finally someone picks up and told it’ll be thirty to forty minutes to bring my car back. Told to wait in the terminal for their call, then guy rings and berates me for not being in the car park even though they hadn’t set off yet and I was only doing what they’d told me to do. Just what you need after a 15 hour flight.

They ask when you book when your flight will arrive but clearly have zero capacity for variances in flight arrival times so expect a wait to get your car back. And don’t think they’ll look after it. Delivered the car back absolutely filthy covered in bird poo and sticky tree gum when I’d just had it cleaned before the holiday.

Surly guy handed me the keys and ticket to exit the car park. I asked if it was paid and I could use the ticket to get straight out, driver said yeah, then wandered off before I could do a car inspection. Got stuck at the barriers because the ticket wasn’t paid, another lie.

Just all round a nasty bunch of misogynist guys that you do not want to be your first experience of leaving and arriving back in the UK.

Do not entrust your car to these guys! I wouldn’t even trust they wouldn’t just steal it.

Impossible to pay for more than one day at a time. 24 hours means midnight to 23h59 the next day. You have to wait til midnight to pay again for the next day. If you pay at 22h00 for 24 hours, they charge you double, 25$ until midnight, and another $25 for the next day…50$ for a parking in Montreal…ridiculous…

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!
MY EXPENSE WAS MORE THAN TERRIBLE.
I called 30min before my arrival to Heathrow as they requested, there wasn’t anyone there so I called the operator and he said, “someone will be there in 10min”…. Eventually I waited for an hour, nearly missing my flight.
On way back, I called 30min prior to my collection time, as they suggested to do so. He asked me to call back when I got my luggage, so I did. Nobody was there waiting for me, instead I had to wait 30min by the car park.
I took a picture of mileage before I handed my car over, so I checked the mileage and it was 20min added… so
I asked a driver were was my car parked ?
He said “it’s 3-4miles away from the airport”
It felt like a lie.
My car setting was changed in very weird way, steering was adjusted… I am not sure what they did to my car.
Overall, the experience was very unpleasant and you would not need these stress when you are traveling.
I wish that I saw other reviews and went with other companies.

When I first hand my car over to the pick-up driver, he give me a parking ticket to pay which I wasn't happy with.
When I comes back and have made three occasion phone call to the driver who deliver car back, eventually I have to waited for a hour.
The worst part is the driver again gave me the ticket to pay for exit the carpark without telling me that I needed to pay.
I just had several hours flight on the plane coming back from Miami, tired and exhausted and have to waited about a hour for the driver too.
PLEASE ALL THE PEOPLES WHO READ THIS, PAST ON THE MESSAGE TO FAMILYS AND FRIENDS.

I wish I’d read these reviews before booking! Shame they do not take ownership of this page - this clearly shows they’re aware of the issues.

After 3 nights my car looked like it had been parked for 3 months. Covered in black bird Poo and dust!

The driver changed unnecessary settings throughout the car and the telephone staff were rude!

Held my car for ransom.
When I came back a day early from holiday I was charged for collecting my car a day early and when I mentioned that I’ve paid for an extra day why can’t they use that for the charge, they said that’s not how their company worked so in short I paid for an extra day and still charged extra for collecting my car a day early or I wasn’t getting my car back. My kids were so tired from the flight all I wanted to do was get them home so I paid the ransom. Do not use this company even when their rates appear to be cheaper stay away and they park your car in Staines which is an extra 6 miles on your clock 🚮🚮

Absolutely awful service. Firstly waited 46 minutes for car to be returned after being told it would be 20 mins. As we could track the car I watched as it was being used to firstly drop off at another terminal, it then returned to the depot and then was driven to us. Clearly it was being used to pick up and drop off other drivers at other terminals. Having screenshot the mileage at drop off there was 35 miles added to the clock from when we dropped it off. Do not use!!

Worst ever service....
First parking ticket for $70 even if valid pass displayed on the dash. Parking patrol didn't recognized it. When appeal picture sent, they raised a new new issue that the pass is up side down and reduced the fine to $50 and never waived regardless sending many emails. Merciless, no flexibility, strict manner. I would never use INDIGO if there is a chance to select. I will never recommend this company to many of my friends. This happened at Calgary, AB, Canada

Parked car at 6:34 got ticket at 7:10 saying been parked over 2 hours in a commercial sharing parking lot !of $70!

Terrible. 60$ tickets, convoluted ticket payment, no assistance.

Actually deserves 0 stars. I recieved a $60 dollar ticket for parking in a spot for less then five minutes on a Saturday. If I don't pay or dispute within 7 days I have to pay $85. I have called the phone # on the ticket 8 times, left progressively nastier messages each time, I have gone on line to pay the damn ticket and it states that the info is incorrect and no ticket registered. I have emailed them with screenshots of all the times I have called and what the computer is telling me about my ticket. It's been 5 days!!! Nothing!!! Worst non existent customer service I have ever not dealt with. Ridiculous!! How can this place still be in business with all the horrendous reviews it gets!!

Absolutely a nightmare to access the app, or the machine to pay. The attendant was abrupt and short, with no 'time' to help with questions.

It speaks volumes about a company if 93% of the reviews are bad. My experience is comparable to many others here.

My partner had purchased a 2 day pass online and (unbeknownst to him at the time) the autofil failed to include the last 3 digits of his license plate.

He received a ticket during the time he had paid for parking, and we reached out to Indigo to rectify the matter, they failed to provide a solution. They were able to confirm that he had paid (and had the receipt) but said they would not do anything to either resolve the ticket or offer a refund for the parking purchased.

We were told our only option was to connect with the city (even though it was an indigo employee who left the ticket). Unfortunately the city was unable to help as it was an indigo agent in an indigo lot. We will need to speak to a judge to resolve the ticket.

The agent we spoke to told us that the only thing he could do was provide us with a managers email, but that it was unlikely the email would even be read considering how many complaints they receive. If a company receives so many negative emails that they don't bother to read it, that's a sign they need to change their business practices. It also shows that they have no regard for their customers.

If you have any other parking options available, I would recommend staying clear of Indigo. They have the most unhelpful customer service and according to other reviews mistakes are exceptionally common at the cost of the customer.

We stonden geparkeerd in Indigo garage in Nieuwpoort en hadden een 4 dagen abonnement. Ik had nog gevraagd of ik tussendoor in en uit kon rijden en er werd bevestigd dat dit kon. We hebben echter elke keer dat we buiten reden moeten bellen aan de slagboom want die ging nooit open. Zeer vervelend!!
