Nice clothes but slow…

Nice clothes but slow delivery/refund/replacement service with lack of flexibility. I returned some clothes that were too big and emailed to say I needed the replacement fast for a particular event, got an email saying nothing could be done. I said ok then please just refund. Similarly no effort to expedite or change the process. Now returning items again, as I told them I would, because they arrived too late. Not sustainable and all quite annoying and inflexible.

As a small business, we work hard to offer a personal and reliable service, but we do have to follow certain procedures to stay sustainable. We’re unable to send out replacement items or issue refunds until the original items are received back with us. This helps us manage stock and avoid losses, something that’s especially important for small businesses like ours.

Larger companies like Amazon often operate with systems that allow them to skip these steps, but this model is only sustainable at their scale – and honestly, it’s not one that works well for smaller or growing brands. That said, we’re always looking at ways to improve what we can offer within our capacity.

We did process your exchange as soon as your return was received, and we’re sorry if the timing didn’t work out for your event. We also note that you are returning the items again and will endeavour to refund those as soon as they are received. We really do try to support our customers wherever possible, and we’ll continue working to improve our flexibility where we can.

Thanks again for your support – it really does mean a lot to small businesses like ours.

Exceptional clothing and customer service

I recently contacted Parlez regarding a button that had been lost from my husband's shirt. Let's just say the customer service was exceptional. They promptly located the shirt and button style, sending a replacement in the post the next day. I am so impressed. The shirt is fantastic quality and a personal favourite of mine. It always helps when the quality of customer service matches the superb quality of the clothing.

Very Disappointed

very disappointed, ordered two tee shirts of similar style FMV £50 each, quality was awful, similar to something you'd get in Primark, send them back and then had to chase for a refund. Obviously then had to pay the return charge, wouldn't recommend.

Love this brands stuff

Love this brands stuff.
Only thing is that I'm a medium but medium can be too small but if I go for large it's pretty oversized. You kind of have to go on what the model is like and wearing. Maybe sizing is something to look at a bit.

Disappointing Experience with No Refund or Response.

I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and frustration with my recent experience. After returning my purchase, I have yet to receive a refund or even an acknowledgment of my return. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service for updates, my efforts have been met with complete silence.

This experience has been especially disheartening as I am based in Europe, and it appears that international customers might face additional challenges with this company. I strongly advise future customers, particularly those from Europe, to reconsider making a purchase here. The lack of communication and failure to process a refund in a timely manner is unacceptable and reflects poorly on their commitment to customer satisfaction.

It's regrettable that I have to share this experience, but I hope it serves as a caution to others. Dealing with this company has been not only a financial loss but also a considerable waste of time and effort.

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say a massive thank you for how well you’ve handled my recent issue. Honestly, I was really impressed with the way everything was sorted out, and I think it's only fair to let you know when things are done right.

Awful customer service

Returned a faulty item which Royal Mail tracking confirms as received but no acknowledgement from Parlez and no response to my emails. Furthermore, they have sent me a faulty item and have not offered to refund for delivery meaning I am now out of pocket just for receiving a faulty item. Absolute shambles. If I don’t get receive a full refund of all charges by the end of the week, I’ll claim it back via my bank.

Update. Very emotional response from Parlez. Perhaps they should have had a Snickers before replying. Funny how my “one” email gets acknowledged and refund gets processed only after I raise this publicly on Trust Pilot. Why would my initial refund request be raised here rather than with Parlez direct? You’re not fooling anyone. Embarrassing…

We are not trying to "fool" anyone we are just highlighting the timeline of events and based on that provide the best possible service we can.... we do not think that is embarrassing.

We have looking into your order and can see we have received only one email from you and that is today after you have posted this comment.

With regards to your return the warehouse received the item on the 29/01/2024 @10:34am. Your return was then Quality Controlled and processed and you were issued a full refund on the 31/01/2024 @9:42am... less than 48hrs after having received the goods. You have been sent emails throughout this process highlighting the delivery process, your tracking details and your refund status,

To address your comments in you review:
- "no response to my emails" - we received 1 email from yourself which replied to 17 mins after receiving it.
- "sent me a faulty item" - We have Quality Controlled the item and it has been deemed to be not faulty
- "have not offered to refund for delivery" - You have not requested any such refund but of course we are happy to refund you in full as you feel the item is faulty as a gesture of goodwill
- "Absolute shambles" - We are VERY disappointed that you feel like this as we do not feel that we could have acted any quicker in any aspect of this return.

We are a small independent brand and we strive to deliver the best quality product & customer service. We take it very seriously when a customer says we have not met these standards. Whilst we actively request & genuinely welcome all feedback, when we feel the criticism is not inline with the reality of events we do feel that this needs highlighting.
