I cannot recommend PBS Pet Travel enough for anyone looking to relocate their pets. We recently moved our Golden Retriever from the UK to Washington state, and the process was flawless thanks to Kelly.

Moving a large dog internationally is incredibly stressful, but Kelly made us feel at ease from day one. She was super responsive to every single email and worry I had. What really stood out was that she was always a step ahead of the process; she anticipated our questions and handled the logistics before we even realized they needed to be done.

Our pup arrived in Washington safe, happy, and on time. If you want peace of mind, go with PBS and definitely ask to work with Kelly!

Moving countries is challenging, but the hardest and most emotional part is entrusting someone with your pets — sending them halfway across the world and hoping they’re cared for as if they were your own. I recently moved from London to Dubai with my two dogs, both of whom are snub-nosed breeds, which made the process even more stressful.

From the very beginning, Henrietta Locke at PBS Pet Travel handled everything with exceptional care, compassion, respect, and understanding. She guided me through every step, reassured me during the stressful lead-up to travel day, and made sure all my concerns were heard and addressed.

On the day of the move, everything ran like clockwork. The entire PBS team was calm, professional, and incredibly supportive. My girls arrived safely, comfortably, and far more effortlessly than I ever imagined possible.

I cannot thank Henrietta and the PBS Pet Travel team enough. They turned one of the most nerve-wracking experiences into something smooth, organised, and ultimately heartwarming. Highly recommend them to anyone relocating with pets.

PBS were amazing helping me transport my dog from the UK to Portugal. Kelly responded quickly to my many questions, took care of all the details, removed the stress and provided constant updates along the way. I would definitely recommend them.

We recently used PBS to transport our dog from the UK to the USA.
Overall we had a good experience and I received quick responses to my emails which is not always the easy when you are in different time zones. Their prices are good and I was given a clear breakdown of the costs and all the extras we could get to make the process as smooth as possible.
The only issues we had is that some of the documents we signed seem to have been mislaid once the customs brokers became involved in the conversations. We had to send back the exact same documents several times because it seemed it had either not been passed on or was lost amongst other emails.
Collection in the USA was more complicated than we expected with them asking us for papers that had been shipped with our dog's travel crate and for proof that we had paid for the service.
While it was eventually resolved it did mean that we had an additional hour of waiting to find out if our dog was going to get released to us.
He did arrive safe and sound which is the most important thing in all this so any little inconveniences and worry have now been forgotten and he is enjoying his new life.

PBS took care of our spaniel Teddy’s summer holiday flights from Dubai to the U.K. and back for at least the sixth year again recently. Kelly was fantastic and arranged everything with only a week’s notice. Good communications and clear requirements made the process smooth as usual and Teddy is back safe and sound at home in Dubai. Without PBS would have been hell! They were superb!

Delighted with the service we have received from PBS in transporting our dog and 3 cats from Scotland to Canada. Excellent communication, competitive price and they clearly care about the pets they transport. The crates were sent out prior to travel and we had to send photos which were checked for size. The driver who picked them up for the long drive to London was lovely and friendly and we had confidence in him right away. PBS also communicated well with the company we were using to clear our pets through customs in Toronto and send them on to Halifax. They all arrived healthy and happy and like they had just been driven a short distance! They were clearly well looked after all round. Cannot thank Henrietta and the rest of the PBS team enough! Highly recommend.

The arrangements were thoughtful and clearly communicated, with excellent responsiveness throughout. The pet’s welfare was always the top priority. The pricing was affordable, and I would definitely recommend this service to friends in need.

We used PBS to transport Lindy , our Dachshund, to Brazil and very happy with the service we received.
Time was a bit tight too so even more impressed with the service . A big shout out to Helen who looked after us throughout and almost to the end when Henrietta and Jason took over .
Communication was excellent from the start and concerns addressed immediately to put our minds at ease .
On the day of travel Tony collected Lindy and again a big shout out to him who gave me updates on Lindy checking in and also from Jason who confirmed she was safe on the plane.

I contacted PBS last minute, within about a week of my travel. From the moment I contacted them they were so helpful. I was a bit overwhelmed with everything I had to get done in such a small amount of time but Lucy made everything so easy! I reached out to a few other companies before deciding to go with PBS and I absolutely made the right decision. They were the most responsive, accommodating and friendly.

We recently used PBS to transport our dog, Macaroni, from the UK to the US, and while Macaroni arrived safely and without any issues—something we are incredibly grateful for—the overall experience fell short of our expectations given the cost and glowing reviews on Trustpilot.

First, I want to highlight a positive: Romy, the staff member we dealt with, was lovely. She was always polite and seemed genuinely committed to helping. However, it seems like the company is a bit short-staffed, which significantly impacted our experience.

Unfortunately, the process felt disorganized and stressful at times. Here are some examples:

After booking and making payment, communication became sparse. I had to repeatedly email and call over several days, right up until just before Macaroni’s scheduled collection. We had no clear information on the arrangements—such as timing, who would collect her, or what we needed to do to prepare—until I took it upon myself to identify through companies' house, and then contact the transport company directly.

Despite assurances that the flight space would be booked as soon as it became available, I had to remind them multiple times to secure it within the 30-day window.

On the day of collection, I was still receiving urgent document requests. This was especially stressful as we were in the middle of a move without stable internet access or a printer. Even after submitting the documents, the US customs broker contacted us during our flight, saying she hadn’t received them and had to complete them herself.

Throughout the process, I was asked to resend several documents multiple times, creating unnecessary delays and confusion.

While the most critical aspect—Macaroni’s safe arrival—was handled successfully, the lack of communication and last-minute scramble added a lot of stress to an already challenging situation. For the premium price, I expected better organization and a more seamless experience.

PBS has all the right ingredients, and I believe with additional staffing and process improvements, they could provide the five-star service reflected in many of their reviews. However, based on my experience, I felt compelled to share this honest feedback for others considering their services.

Filled in their online form, measured, weighed my dogs and their crate for flying from UK - to USA, no response. Waited a week then called them spoke with Julie said she would call me back in an hour - guess what did not call. Would not trust this company shipping anything of mine. Buyer beware!

Shocking Service!! PBS have gone downhill. I used them for two dogs but when our third was able to fly I heard nothing for a month only to find the gentleman had left and not passed on our details to a colleague. It has now been two weeks with multiple emails and phone calls with zero response. Short staffed and nobody can call me back to arrange the flight. Give up and moved in to another agent after another two weeks dog care costs water through a complete lack of care or assistance from the team!

I really want to thank Jason and the whole PBS team very much for their support and professionalism with delivering our Cat from South Wales to Cyprus .

Jason has been very kind and thoughtful with every detail and we appreciate the attentiveness and thought that went into this.

Our cat arrived with us and she has settled well, and we were grateful that she was taken care of so well and not traumatised by the journey.

This wouldn’t have been possible without Jason and the whole PBS team, and of course with EasyPet assisting in Cyprus with Samuel’s assistance at the airport.

PBS was our go-to group for flying our beloved dog from Heathrow to Austin. They were not only competitive in pricing, but they COMMUNICATED with us regularly throughout the process. In the days leading up to our departure when our nerves were getting frazzled, they provided stellar service. Finally, Nigel, our point person for drop off, made us feel so incredibly reassured. I highly recommend this company!

We had to transfer our persian cat Lily from UK to Estonia, Tallinn. I struggled to find a company that deals with that route but luckily came across to PBS pet travel.
Annabel was very professional and a few issues that I had with documents along the way, got solved quickly. She was able to answer every single question I had and I had loads :)
My cat arrived safely and that’s the most important thing!
