They wasted my time and ripped me off. Incompetent and dishonest.

I bought a high-end refrigerator. They sent 2 different teams to measure my apartment to ensure proper access and fit. On delivery day, their deliver team determined it would not fit. I refused delivery. They charged me an extra $125. They did not refund me fully. It was a terrible experience. I’d never use them again. The combination of incompetence and dishonesty was staggering.

Managers Don't Care

To be clear, I've been a loyal customer since the 70s. For many years I went to the Levittown store until the managers treated me like crap over a issue with a dishwasher that was installed improperly. They were clear that once they have your money, they don't give a damn. We went to Carle Place for a refrigerator. Again, an installation problem. The manager I spoke to was rude, unprofessional, gave me a ridiculous line of BS and even had the nerve to throw the salesman under the bus instead of taking care of the problem.
Salesmen at PC Richards are excellent. Managers are either arrogant or idiots. I am DONE. Losing one customer is meaningless to them....When I think about the amount of money I've spent as a loyal customer for DECADES, I wish I never walked into a PC Richards.
My advice to the reader....hope you don't have any issues with any products because the managers won't give a damn.

Item not received, Brittany's response is unacceptable

Brittany's solution is, IF I get it, return it for a refund! Shipping fee on me, no doubt. So.. they'll file a UPS claim,. And maybe I'll get refunded when the claim is paid! Having worked for years for an e-commerce company, I do my best to ask for a resolution before leaving any negative feedback. My effort was useless. I applaud small businesses, but the results are usually like mine. Stay away.. go directly to the yeti website

I would give P.C Richards Zero stars if i could

I would give P.C. Richards zero stars if I could, my experience has been that awful. I purchased a high end Thermador range and hood in their Princeton, Nj location. Since the moment they processed my transaction, the lies, incompetence and upselling started and has not stopped.

A stove that was promised to be delivered within 4 days arrived with one days' warning 28 days later. Every time I called to ask it's whereabouts I was told it would arrive by the end of the week, but they could not track inventory in their computer system to give me an exact date. Is it not 2026? Suddenly, when I told them I wanted to cancel the entire order, everything was on a truck to my house within days.

The range hood was sold to me without a motor, no mention that the motor was sold separately. I waited another 3 weeks for the motor and consequently lost my contractor to another job-I have now had a range, hood and motor in my living room for over a month. When my contractor began to install the range, he discovered the LP converter kit was not included with the range, so back to the living room it went while I wait for one to be delivered(thankfully, I purchased the converter kit somewhere else, it should arrive within 7 days)

The incompetence in this establishment knows no bounds and runs the ranks from salesman to delivery driver to management. Through it all though, they never stop trying to upsell you a mattress...whut?! Do yourself a favor and do not purchase so much as an HDMI cable in this place.

Bought a Bosch refrigerator on 10/2/25

Bought a Bosch refrigerator on 10/2/25. The ice machine broke on 1/15/26. The freezer went next and about 2/1/26 the entire appliance didn’t work. Pc Richard customer service told me I had to deal with Bosch. Bosch takes 10 days to get a service call and they put new parts on it. That didn’t work and another 10 days, more parts
.. I made PC Richard aware of the situation and was promised call backs which didn’t happen. Finally today, 3/6/26, a supervisor at PC Richard called and told me I can get store credit towards a new refrigerator. When I said I want my money back she had the nerve to say the refrigerator has been in my house for too long for that to happen!!! It hasn’t worked for 7 weeks!!

Good Deal

shopped around for a 50" TV and PC Richard beat all competitors prices. Straight forward and professional salesmen, John and his boss Wayne, were easy to deal with and the sale was quick, I continue to have a positive experience at this store.

When to P.C Richard to purchase 


When to P.C Richard to purchase washer the manger told me he would he mail me my receipt he never email me one . he was so unprofessional he was busy on his cellular when he was supposed to be helping me with my purchase I regret not going to Best Buy I having been buying from best for the pass 5yrs never have a problem very professional . but P.C Richard son very unprofessional the manger need more training I would not recommend any one to purchase any thing at PC Richard and son

High-pressure Sales force is working in the 1990’s

Went in to the Newington CT store to purchase an OLED TV, and that was it, ONLY the TV. Explained what I wanted to the sales person Mark, who then tried to sell me: a mattress, HDMI cable because they “expire” after 5-years, then a surge-suppressor, then a 5-year warranty. After declining all add-on sales I told them they lost my business and walked out. Worst sales people in the 2020’s. Get with the times and listen to your customers!! Would never shop there again.

I would not recommend doing business


I would not recommend doing business with P.C. Richard & Son. I have a problem with a fridge that basically never worked correctly from the start. I thought I was doing the right thing by buying the extended warranty, but I was wrong.

P.C. Richard sent out a repair tech about 5 or 6 times, each time replacing the same couple of parts, but the problem recurs within a few days to a few weeks. Each time, we have to schedule a visit and wait. Most recently, they contracted out to another repair shop. We thought this would do the trick, but the problem came back after a few weeks.

The extended warranty promises a replacement appliance if the problem is deemed unrepairable; however, the store is refusing to honor it, stating they must keep trying to fix it.

This is a huge problem for my household. The issue is a small water leak in the freezer. Water drips down onto the fan, and ice accumulates until the fan blades strike the ice. This causes a loud noise that wakes everyone up at night. There is no escaping the sound. You cannot even have a conversation in the kitchen when the fan is on.

We have been understanding and have scheduled numerous repair visits. Each time taking a day off from work. Lately, P.C. Richard has a habit of assigning us appointments that we did not agree to, twice so far. We get a robocall at night with the repair visit time, but because these calls come after hours, there is no one to call to cancel the visit or object to the date and time you were assigned.

Last week, I pleaded my case and asked to speak with a manager. I was instantly told that they were all in a meeting.

We have been loyal customers for years and expect better. So far, we have equipped two homes with every appliance you can imagine, including TVs and gaming PCs.

I urge you to think twice about spending your money at this store. The customer service after the sale is unacceptable.

Washer lg terrible appliances

Good afternoon, I bought 3 appliances LG last year 12/ 2024.the washer after 1 month after . stop dispensing any water. The technician from PC Richard’s at Paramus nj fixt it( it was the water sensor) . After exact 1 year same issues. This is a brand new washer. I have extended warranty, the technician came again, can’t fix it. I spoke to the manager chuck. at pc Richard’s and he hang up the phone on me. Really rude . This is not nice.and no solutions to this problem. I will never buy an lg . Are really bad appliances and this store also.

Service contract was a waste of money

I have always trusted PC Richards, but have been very disappointed with their service contract. It was difficult to get an appointment- weekend hours are not available, they give you a 12 hour slot and the day before will narrow it down to 4 hours. I had to keep canceling the appointment because I couldn’t be there for the slot they gave me even though I requested later in afternoon on each occasion .Tech came to evaluate my stove on visit 1.. visit 2 wrong part was brought, tech was able to use it with modification, however, by visit 3 the switch stopped working and there were burn marks on the switch that was removed- potentially causing a fire.
Although the final tech was great, It was a nightmare trying to get this problem resolved, and I could’ve lost my house in the meanwhile

I had a great experience at the PC Richard & Son location in Carteret, NJ, thanks to Kyle Gonzales. He was polite, professional, and very helpful throughout the entire process. Kyle took the time to answer my questions and helped me choose an LG microwave that fit my needs perfectly. He even arranged free delivery, which made the experience completely stress-free. His customer service was excellent, and I truly appreciated his patience and attention to detail. I would highly recommend working with Kyle if you’re shopping at PC Richard & Son.

PC RICHARD DAMAGED MY HOME

WARNING: Do NOT order appliances from P.C. Richard. I ordered a new Frigidaire frenchdoor refrigerator and paid for delivery and for my previous fridge to be removed. The delivery people were rude and negligent and destroyed my new floors, my front door, my door casing/trim, the molding and the fridge itself. Just look at the photos. We had just spent a lot of money to remodel our new home and were excited to move in when this happened.

What's worse, I put in a claim for damages with P.C. Richard and they DENIED my claim. They completely deny any liability and left me with almost FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS in damages. I have never encountered such HORRIBLE customer service in my life and will never order from P.C. Richard again -- and urge everyone else to do the same. Even if they're a little cheaper than other retailers, it's not worth the risk of destroying your home!

Horrible customer service + ZERO


Horrible customer service + ZERO customer care = loss of 30+ year customer.

In 2020 I bought a 55-inch tv at PCR Rockville Center, NY. It worked fine until recently. In early December, right before my 5-year, $400 extended warranty expired, I tried to get a service appointment because there is a line at the top of the screen. I called 5+ times, and each time I was promised a call back with an appointment date, none of which EVER came. Then I got an appointment - 3 weeks later for Jan 6, but it was for the wrong TV. I was then told I had no service contract by this technician, after which, he just walked away not giving a darn. I called back again 5+ times and was accused of the TV having "impact damage" causing the line at the top, which was absurd, and totally false. This is a 55" TV mounted on a floor TV stand in my living room. There is no evidence of any damage to the TV. After this botched appointment, I called back again and was promised a 1-time courtesy service call by management and this woman named Robin would call me back. Of course, the callback never came. I then called PC Richard Corporate and was basically told to piss off by the kid who answered the phone. The crap he told me was beyond ridiculous, bottom line is they simply do not want to be bothered and could not care less about my situation. I called the service center again, asking for Robin, and the nasty woman on the phone first told me she was available and to hold on; then she came back 5-10 minutes later and told me Robin would call me back. Of course, yet again, the callback never came. I waited all week until now to post this review, as nobody from PCR has ever called me back - not even to explain why I cannot get service. Their obvious practice is to ignore you and hope you will go away. I am now out of warranty and must buy a new TV.

Guess where I AM NOT buying my new TV?

PC Richard just lost a 30+ year customer as I USED TO buy EVERYTHING at PCR. After the way I was treated, I will never walk into another PC Richard ever again.
