We booked our wedding through Perfect Weddings Abroad, trusting them to help deliver one of the most important experiences of our lives. While they acted as the wedding provider, they also arranged our holiday package through TUI as part of the overall booking.

However, just 8 weeks before departure, it became apparent that there were major construction works taking place at the resort. This had a devastating impact on our plans and completely disrupted the wedding location we had carefully chosen. The setting we originally booked and envisioned was no longer available in the way promised, and as a result, the wedding we had spent so long planning was effectively taken away from us.

This was not just a minor inconvenience it fundamentally changed the entire experience. A moment that cannot be repeated or replaced has been permanently affected, and the memories we should look back on fondly are now overshadowed by disappointment.

We raised our concerns and pursued arbitration through Perfect Weddings Abroad, but they ultimately stated they could not be held responsible for the holiday related aspects of the booking. This left us in an incredibly frustrating position, being passed between companies with no one willing to take ownership of the situation or provide a meaningful resolution.

To make matters worse, the only compensation offered by Perfect Weddings Abroad was for what they described as a lack of communication between themselves and the destination. This is frankly unacceptable. The issue went far beyond communication it was a complete failure in coordination and oversight that directly impacted our wedding. Reducing such a significant failure to a minor communication issue, and compensating it as such, feels dismissive and wholly inadequate given the scale of what was lost.

Overall, this has been a deeply upsetting experience. We feel let down by the lack of accountability, the poor communication, and the absence of any meaningful effort to put things right after such a significant life event was impacted.

So be aware of booking any full packages through them as they will not be held responsible for the holiday package part of any disruption takes place and you will not be compensated through the holiday company either as they will suggest you shouldn’t have booked through a third party. We are left thousands of pounds out of pocket for a less the one star wedding and holiday experience.

A wedding day we just want to forget even happened!!

We have used Perfect Weddings before and my daughter found the whole process uncomplicated and stress free! My daughter has a wedding planned for next year and so far our specialist Jade has been brilliant! Roll on next September!

She has explained everything clearly to me, was very patient which my decision making on venues or holidays. Everyone kept saying how beautiful the wedding was and we couldn’t have picked a better location

One thing I feedback is the miscommunication that unfortunately happened between the entertainment and saxophone as I had my list of requested songs specifically - however nonetheless everyone still enjoyed it. I think just make sure things are clearly communicated between the vendors if you want something very specific as a bride

I came across perfect wedding abroad and reached out about my potential wedding, they responded right away and a lady called Jade was amazing, she took all my info on board and stated to plan different options tha would suit my needs. Jade was always there when I reached out with multiple questions, super helpful super friendly really super easy stress free to get sorted couldn't recommend enough

We booked our Cyprus wedding with Jade and she made everything so easy. I told her my vision of the wedding and she came back with the absolute perfect wedding just how I wanted it! Our wedding specialist is Jade and I honestly can’t fault her. She’s so attentive and listens to what you need or want and helps where she can, lovely to speak to. From the get go, she made a confusing and complex process that we hadn’t been through before a lot less intimidating and we are looking forward to carry on working with her and the team through to the wedding day in September 2027.

Melanie, our wedding specialist, has been so incredibly helpful from initial consultation (she phoned the very next day after I filled out my proposal!) right up to booking. She’s open and honest which I absolutely love - no question is too big, too small or silly sounding. Jade has been such a pleasure from the start! Whether it’s picking the perfect location or answering any other questions you might have, she’s always there to help. I especially appreciate how we can chat through WhatsApp groups, which makes everything feel more personal and keeps my fiancé and me in the loop.

It was an absolute amazing experience.
The team from the UK was super helpful and responsive, super patience with all our questions.
The package we went for was affordable and with the help of payment scheme, it really lifted the pressure a lot.
The wedding was a dream, we had a beach wedding in Koh Samui's Royal Muang Villa.

From the moment we were linked up with the planner from the venue, everything went so smoothly despite the time difference.

The event manager in Koh Samui was accommodating, paying attention to details and just making it so easy and assuring.

We had quite some customised requests that were not in the package originally, but they were all achieved and frankly exceeded our expectation.

The venue itself was amazing, the wedding set up was beautiful and catering was just delicious. All our guests were super happy and enjoyed the day.
