We had the wedding of our dreams in Sorrento, Italy, and it truly was the best day of our lives. Everything went so smoothly from start to finish, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team.

From our very first contact, Lucy was incredibly helpful, friendly, and informative. I had what felt like a million questions throughout the planning process, and she always took the time to answer them. Whenever I was worried or needed reassurance, she was more than happy to arrange a call, which meant so much.

Emma was amazing throughout the planning process as well. Her regular emails and video calls kept us reassured every step of the way. She was always there to offer guidance, answer questions, and make us feel confident that everything was under control. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without her.

Rosaria, our wedding planner in Sorrento, was simply outstanding. Our pre-wedding meeting was so helpful, and it was clear she went above and beyond to make everything perfect. She was even there at our meal the night before to ensure everything ran smoothly, which was such a thoughtful touch. Seeing her on the wedding day instantly put us at ease, knowing everything was in safe hands. Words can’t describe how amazing she was – professional, caring, organised, and genuinely invested in making our day unforgettable.

Overall, our experience with Ionian Weddings was more than we could ever have wished for. Every member of the team made us feel supported from beginning to end, and they helped create memories that will last a lifetime. We would recommend Ionian Weddings in a heartbeat to anyone dreaming of a destination wedding in Italy.

Super friendly and reliable. We were able to find our perfect destination wedding venue with the help of Lucy who took the time to consider what we wanted and which venues would be the best to suit our plans!

Lucy has been so helpful guiding us through the first steps of booking our wedding. Super friendly and so knowledgeable, put us at ease straight away with the whole process.

Mixed feelings sold a dream then unfortunately for a year didn’t receive the service expected , 5 months before the wedding was rush but didn’t get any of the originally requested or paid for on proposal , dj hair make up not what I wanted but stick with due to company delayed in contacting providers. Picked company as they could do venue already wanted really should have gone direct to the venue and sorted out myself .. food was okay but was expected to pay tips on the day even though was part of package . Hair stylist didn’t listen a did wrong hair styles for everyone in
Party which was upsetting and tables were set out wrong not as requested which upset family members . Communication thought out really wasn’t what was expected through process and no follow up after. They have you money and don’t care! If you want basic no frill no communication and don’t care what you get then your be okay! Wouldn’t be able

We honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day. From start to finish, everything was beautifully organised, and we were able to relax and enjoy every moment knowing we were in such good hands.

Thank you to Rachel, our UK planner, who made the planning process so straightforward and was always there to answer our questions and keep everything on track.

We'd also like to say a huge thank you to Liz, our in-resort planner in Crete. She is an absolute credit to Ionian Weddings. From the moment we met her, her warmth, kindness and enthusiasm shone through. You can genuinely tell how much she loves her job, and that passion made such a difference to our day. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and nothing was ever too much trouble. It felt like she wasn't just coordinating our wedding, she was celebrating it with us. Having Liz there made us feel so relaxed, and we were so happy she was part of such a special day.

Agreco Farm was the most incredible venue, and our wedding truly exceeded every expectation. It was everything we had dreamed of and more, creating memories we'll treasure forever.

My experience was poor, communication was lacking massively between Ionian and ourselves and between Ionian and the destination.

So our original wedding planner left the company and she was fab we then got passed over to Pat who's I assume was under stress and pressure by picking up more work from our original planner leaving but we were left in the dark massively. We spent MONTHS trying to get an invoice for our wedding as the deadline for payment had passed and couldn't reach anyone to find out what was going on. Then out of the blue another lady emailed who was seemingly going to be our new wedding planner alongside pat? But then the new lady disappeared too?

We was told our paperwork wasn't going to be out there in time now and our wedding wouldn't be legal this broke my heart because what's the point?

Flew out there no contact from Ionian after paying for our wedding which needed IMMEDIATE payment because it was a month before... didn't know we'd have loads of meetings out there so booked things to do with our guests and to enjoy our holiday but had to meet local planner and venue, photographer, dj, make up artist and so on (which is fine but would of been good to know before hand) to then be told our wedding will be legal doesn't matter if paper work follows later.

Wedding day rolls round nothing still from Ionian and we get to our reception and our drinks package included in our wedding hadn't been ordered with the venue so our groomsman had to put £500 behind the bar to say I was fuming having to sit there in my phone at my wedding breakfast to find our proposal to show we were owed a drinks package I'd putting it lightly. Tried contacting Ionian about this they did eventually respond saying that our reception should of only been an hour and a half and that's what drinks would of been included for it doesn't specify that on the proposal or contract. But none the less drink package NEVER HAPPENED. Then we asked for the address to send our paperwork to to make the wedding legal and Pat said "NO" so we contacted Greek planner so much upset for no reason and to say just simply no when we've paid for it to be legal we've paid for translation we've paid for certificates. So my husband said that I'd like a phone call still silence from the company and we got married over a month ago. Not a congratulations or anything.

Ionian have been fabulous in helping us plan our dream day in Santorini! Rachel was great in the lead-up, kept us informed of what needed doing at all times, and once in Santorini, Voula was outstanding! she was so helpful, so detailed, just an absolute dream to work with. We cannot recommend Ionian enough! ive already suggested a friend use them when getting married next year! Thankyou to everyone in the team, we loved the experaince.

Absolutely fantastic company.

At the very beginning of the process I felt a bit out of the loop due to them focusing on that years weddings which is completely understandable. However, when I addressed my concerns they could not do enough to make sure I felt reassured.

When we get allocated our wedding planner, we got allocated Georgia Hockey, she has been the most incredible, reassuring, informative, reassuring planner I could have hoped for. I asked so many in depth questions due to me not really knowing what I was doing) and she went above and beyond to find out the answers for me and came back to me quickly.

Our wedding is next week so have not yet had it, but I have no doubt it will be amazing.

Great Experience with the company. From the initial meetings all the way up to the wedding, we felt everything was well planned and organised. Delivered on the venue and the set up of everything we asked for. They made sure the day went off with no hiccups at all and we would certainly recommend Ionian Weddings for anyone looking to get married abroad.

My new wife and I are incredibly grateful to Ionian. We got married in Italy and they made the entire process a breeze. Our wedding planner in the UK was just incredible, guiding us through the entire process, dealing with all the suppliers, making great suggestions for add ons (photo booth, cold fire fountains, custom mirror welcome signage, etc) and super accommodating to our requests, as unusual as some of them were (giant Mozzarella ball wedding cake!). Our on the ground planner made the day run smoothly, despite some rain interruptions, and she was just a delight to be around. I can't speak highly enough, our wedding was everything we wanted it to be and more. Thank you, Ionian, Grazie Mille!

Where do I start??
I cannot recommend Ionian Weddings enough.
From the moment we made the decision to get married in Santorini, and entrusted Ionian with helping us to achieve our dream wedding, we have had the most positive experience imaginable.
They created a package for us based on our 64 guests, and our day was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Our guests have not stopped talking about it, and I don't think they ever will!
Rachel was our UK planner and was always accessible and supportive, guiding us through each process, and never bothered about having to explain things twice! She checks in regularly, even since we came home and we are genuinely sad that we wont get to speak to her again.
Our planners in Santorini, Giannis and Voula welcomed us immediately upon arriving on the Island, setting up a Whatsapp group and ensuring they were in contact with us each day before and after the wedding. Again, nothing was too much trouble and when I thought
I had forgotten or left things at the venue, Voula had already packed them in my case!
For any brides (and grooms) looking for first class support, advice and guidance throughout your journey to get married abroad, do not look any further than Ionian Weddings - they are the best!

Amazing experience from start to finish. We have just had our wedding at the sea view wedding venue in Chania, Crete.
The whole wedding planning experience has felt effortless for us with Ionian weddings and stress free. Our wedding planner Georgia has always been quick to respond and answer any questions we had, and has made everything on our journey easy and smooth. Our wedding was better than we could of ever imagined and Im so glad we chose Ionian weddings, I would highly recommend to anybody looking to book a wedding abroad! :)

I am truly lost for words. From start to finish my experience with Ionian has been seamless. From Lucy who made the initial contact, I could tell I had made the right choice. We were later introduced to Rachel who took over the rest of the planning. I actually felt like Rachel was a friend by the end of the process and will actually miss reaching out to her. Nothing was too much of an ask and I felt thoroughly informed throughout.

I did lots of research/contacted lots of venues & planners in Italy before booking with Ionian, and they truly made our dream day come true. Having a planner in the UK and at location made the whole process so easy, and the planning process was made fun, instead of stressful, thanks to the help of Ionian. From start to finish, Emma made the whole experience completely stress-free, and we genuinely couldn't have asked for more. She was incredibly responsive, so helpful throughout, and paid attention to every detail to make sure everything was exactly how we envisioned it.
On the day itself, Serena was absolutely wonderful. She was organised, calm, attentive and such a reassuring presence. It was clear that she and Emma communicated seamlessly behind the scenes, which meant everything ran so smoothly and allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment.
Borgo Divino was absolutely faultless. The venue itself is breathtaking, but what really made it so special was the incredible team. Every single person went out of their way to make us feel so special, so cared for and completely looked after throughout the entire celebration. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their warmth and attention to detail made such a difference.
We're just so grateful for everything Emma, Serena and the Borgo Divino team did. It truly was the most magical experience, and we couldn't recommend them highly enough. I cannot recommend Ioaian Weddings enough to any couple considering getting married abroad! My partner and I had always dreamed of getting married abroad but didn't know where to start with the planning and logistics. Luckily we came across Ionian weddings and they have been nothing short of exceptional from start to finish! Wonderful experience with Ionian for our recent wedding on the beach in Cyprus. The setting was perfect for us and brilliantly organised. The villa accommodation was gorgeous and the private beach area for the ceremony and reception was ideal. Cheradie from Ionian, told us everything we needed to know when we were there and Louise on site was incredible, making sure everything went to plan. Food was delicious too! Fabulous memories were made!

My husband Ryan and I got married at the Limestone Heritage Park in Malta on 27/05/2026, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both the venue and Ionian Weddings!

The venue is absolutely beautiful, and from our initial inquiry through to the wedding day, the service provided by Ionian was seamless and professional. Their experience and support took a huge amount of stress out of planning a destination wedding.

A special thank you to Pat, who was fantastic throughout, particularly with helping us navigate the legal documentation, and to Chermain, who was always responsive and helpful with any requests.

I'd also like to recognise Pam, our wedding coordinator in Malta. She was incredibly organised, attentive, and made us feel completely at ease from the moment we met her. She even arranged for us to view the venue the day before the wedding, which was a lovely touch as we hadn't seen it in person before.
