Phillips Solicitors was established in 1986. Brain Chase Coles Solicitors was established in 1995. Both firms merged on 1 February 2020. The merger was an important step towards our goal of building the regionâs strongest dynamic, full-service law firm, whilst maintaining the traditional values that both firms were built on. In 2021, Phillips acquired Henleyâs Solicitors. In 2022, we became Phillips Law.

Sale and purchase of property.
We recently moved house and Lisa Rigby handled both the sale and purchase for us. In all honesty I donât think we could have made the move without Lisa. Our new property comes with a complicated (but fair) management agreement and Lisa smoothed out the bumps, had all our questions answered and was generally strong and patient enough to see the process through to completion. Trust and Support at a difficult time.
At a difficult time of loosing a loved one, all the staff were supportive and compassionate but also totally professional. They co-ordinated the smooth process of achieving probate and conveyancing between departments. Our confidence with this company also lead us and family members to produce new wills and powers of attorney during the same period. The assistance given in arranging the LPA's was clear fully comprehensive and understandable. The staff member concerned, Sian Lias was very helpful and spent plenty of time explaining the details of the LPA to both myself, my wife and the other Attorneys.
