About 3 years ago, the limit of 3 saves a day started, so I signed up for a light user pay tier of 75¢ a month. Unlimited saves, still with ads, only the horrible "free" fonts. There was no email or notification that the program would become useless unless $2.49 a month was paid. And my several hundred credits disappeared.

Pixlr charged me for an auto-renewal I did not authorize. I requested cancellation and a refund within 24 hours of the charge. They ignored my request for eleven days. When they finally responded, they cited their Terms of Use to refuse the refund and advised me to "continue using the service until the end of the cycle."
That is not a refund policy. That is a company deciding to keep money it was asked to return.
A formal consumer complaint has been filed against Pixlr Pte. Ltd. with the relevant state Attorney General for unauthorized renewal and refusal to refund.
Auto-renewal subscribers in the United States should be aware that a blanket no-refund clause does not override consumer protection law. If this happens to you, file a complaint with your state Attorney General and dispute the charge with your bank. Both processes take less time than waiting for Pixlr support to respond. One star is generous.

Far too much censorship. Hamless posts flagged as sensitive etc. I pay for this so get out of my creations.

The actual photo editor is okay, just the ads are annoying. After 15 seconds of editing, the browser goes into fullscreen and plays an ad.

The face-changing feature in the free trial was very good, but after the free trial feature was removed, the program became very bad and the only feature was the free trial. I spent almost $80 on a trivial program!

It is hard to use so I didn't use it after the first day of the free trial. When I went to cancel it after 7 days, they had already charged me and told me I was out of luck. Use at your own risk. I just received a generic reply from Pixlr saying to contact them if I needed assistance. I did contact them and they did not help me.

Absolute garbage.

Total garbage how Pixlr has changed. I subscribed over October for retouching my headshots. And after adding new ones a few months, NOTHING was working. AI tools, background change, nothing. Just a faulty broken server with only info@gmail for a Support contact.
Seriously? I realize many platforms have AI now. But to cheapen on subscribers like this for PAID service is unacceptable.

Disgusting company, corrupt borderline illegal business practices locking people into subscriptions then denying cancellation.

The overall experience and results are satisfactory , however i booked a whole year(a few monts ago) and had around 4500 credits still. Now they are suddenly 0 credits. I can still login but no more credits.
I gave you 5 stars instead of 1 cause i know how reviews can affect a business. Please restore my credits?

Refused to give a reasonable refund

I somewhat impulsively signed up for pixlr's plus subscription and quickly found out the Hard Way that the pixlr plus webpages do not support RAW photo uploads even to save a life, never mind being actually able to PROFESSIONALLY edit them.

I dont understand how a web photo service can consider itself to be PROFESSIONAL if it doesn't even support RAW open source DNG, never mind my ORFs, so I cordially requested a refund of my mere 2.24 U$D, which was FLATLY and DISINGENUOUSLY REFUSED by a lame, unhelpful pixlr support email.

I was provided with a stupid fine-print link to their entire Terms of Service, none of which I deem enforceable anyway, due to their SHARP and SHADY presentation of said terms, in my PROFESSIONAL opinion.

Pixlr have acted illegally and have taken £68.23 from my account without prior warning. Not only this but also did not warn me of a price increase either. I am awaiting an email responce and a refund!!

*update* they refuse to refund and have totally ignored the DMCC Act 2024. Nice consumer care!!

After writing this I was offered a 11month partial refund , it really should have been 12 months but for arguments sake I let them have it. Good to get it sorted in the long run.

I wanted an object erased from a photo. I used Pixlr and the result was as per my expectations. I also like the intuitive interface.

I found this as a first website listed on google, what a terrible experience this was, even after buying the so called "PRO" license the AI editor and the AI generator were utterly bad, never using this again, reviews only corrected me

What a waste of time , they lure you to signup on the pretext that its free but when you try to do a basic photo edit, it ask you to pay! why do you do such false advertising!
