We had our underground garage dampproofed in July of this year 2024. We have used them before and have always been entirely satisfied so we had no hesitation in going to them for our garage work.
Jack H and Chris did the majority of the work and we found them to be hard working, paying every attention to detail, and working with due care and attention. They were also very pleasant indeed and the job was completed on time and to a very acceptable cost.
I will always consult Alan at Poultons whenever I need help with my house on a damp problem.

Poultons did two damp surveys on my home.
Both listed condensation as the main cause- even though I pointed out issues with the bathroom tiling and guttering.
A very costly vent was put in the roof, which meant the terrible damp caused by problems by structural issues was ignored.
When I asked whether the kitchen roof could be leaking I was told "no". Even though it obviously was, which was confirmed later by a tradesman.

I have no idea why I was treated in such a rude way. Or why he chose to ignore all the obvious structural issues and just write "condensation " for every issue.

Rude and Wrong! Not a good combination.

We had remedial damp works completed at our house and the service was impeccable.

The damp works were completed quickly and it already seems to be working! The guys that completed the works were friendly and very professional!

We would certainly recommend Poulton remedial- the team were excellent.

I invited 3 damp remedial providers to inspect two internal damp patches and to quote for remedial external injected. I received a detailed coloured diagram from Poulton that was accurate and a detailed description of what would be done. It was not the cheapest, but the most convincing. I accepted and arranged the technician visit. In the morning the technician drilled and injected the chemical and described what would happen. It concurred with what I had researched. He returned 4 hours later to apply pointing mortar over the injected holes. 3 months later all is good and the interior walls are dry. Highly recommended.
