Day 2 of waiting for @Power_Buy. Friday they didn’t have the right equipment for what they delivered….today already an hour late.
Having ordered an electrical product from Power Buy which was damaged on delivery, they refused to replace or refund the item.
I had an extremely bad and stressful experience with Power Buy, and I strongly advise others to be very careful when purchasing electronics from this store.
I purchased a DJI Osmo Mobile 8, sealed box, brand new. After opening it, I discovered that a major component was missing from the box. This is not a preference issue — the product was incomplete and unusable.
When I returned to the store:
• Staff refused to replace the product
• Staff refused to issue a refund
• They demanded a video recording of the unboxing, which is not a legal requirement
• When I requested a written refusal with store stamp and manager name, they refused that as well
• Staff avoided responsibility, delayed answers, and tried to push the issue away instead of solving it
This behavior is unacceptable for a large electronics retail chain. Refusing both a solution and written confirmation is a clear attempt to avoid accountability.
Only after I mentioned that I would contact Thailand Consumer Protection (OCPB) did their attitude change — which clearly shows how customer complaints are handled here.
Because of this experience, I am now proceeding with an official complaint to the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB) regarding this incident and the way it was handled.
I lost time, energy, and trust.
For a company of this size, this level of customer service is unprofessional, unethical, and deeply disappointing.
⚠️ If you buy from Power Buy:
• Check the product in front of staff
• Do not assume sealed boxes are complete
• Be prepared to fight for your basic consumer rights
I will never shop here again.
They say no questions asked refund at any store.

I tried to return an Apple Watch and they refused. When I showed them the text string no questions asked, the worker refused to look at it. No explanation given for why they have this text on their website
Bought bluetooth karaoke speakers "Ozzie P5" the microphone quickly broke after 2 weeks. They would not replace the mic since it had been 1 week and said to contact the brand directly. The brand is in China and not answering any emails or calls. Waste of money and my time. Don't go to Powerbuy.
Apparently the product we purchased for "store pick up" is not available for "pick-up". No communication of this, we had to chase that information. Changed to house delivery with correct information provided. Checked again as couldn't find tracking information with details provided. No communication again. Chased it up. They had wrong contact details. Lady/ ladies on the 24hr helpline were nice to deal with, but still didn't fix the situation. 2nd round, still waiting on result.Get the feeling we'll be chasing up again. Hopefully third time lucky.I suggest buying directly from shop. From my experience you have to search for staff to help as they're all too busy chatting or on their phones. Unfortunately, Powerbuy doesn'thave a lot of competition. Still the best shop in Thailand for electronic goods and appliances.
my worst purchasing experience, they do not have the product you want to buy and work with your money for a month before refunding you, I will never take a look at their site again
Very bad refund policy. If you can't try the product in store and you don't like it after buying – you cannot return it. Better to buy on Shopee or any other electronics store. Don't recommend, customer loyalty is worthless to them.
I placed an order for a Bluetooth speaker on 12 May, which Power Buy cancelled on 16 May, promising me a refund to my debit card within 24 hours. It is now 29 days later, and my refund has not been processed. I sent them an email about a week ago which they have completely ignored. Disgusting company.
Two Orders - Two Disasters
Ordered a Printer, which turned out to be have falsely advertised on their website, so didnt have the features they had claimed.
Second they delivered a CoffeeMaker that was missing pieces and the pieces that were there were different and worse than the ones advertised.
In both cases their customer service didnt respond, and when they did response, they instructed me to send email, which they didnt respond to. Subsequently they have promised to call back a number of times when contacted, but this far they havent... this is the WORST company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with ! AVOID !!
