She is very personable, clearly knows the local market very well, was our main point of contact throughout the entire process and promptly arranged a good number of viewings. The house sale was a very straightforward and quick one and Gemma was helpful throughout (including gathering some necessary information from the house for us as we are not local).

Gemma Carter at Preston Baker was great.
Gemma Carter was extremely helpful to us at every stage. Whenever I had a question she got me an answer straight away or put me onto someone who could help. As buyers we were not technically her clients but it felt like we were. Very friendly and helpful.

The most proactive and strategic agent
We sold our house with Preston Baker in November, after previously being disappointed with Manning Stainton.
Andrew at Preston Baker was a breath of fresh air – proactive, strategic, and genuinely driven to get results. He ultimately secured a sale on our property where the other, more lacklustre agent had failed.
The team were also excellent after the offer was accepted, handling any issues fairly, efficiently, and with clear communication throughout.
I can’t recommend Preston Baker highly enough and have already recommended them to family and friends.

Simply excellant service on a property sale. Jayne Tomlinson (Doncaster) oversaw the process from start to finish which went very smoothly. She was thoroughly professional and responsive throughout - always available when needed either immediately or via a very prompt call back.

Great Estate Agents
Preston Baker were amazing throughout the sale of my late Mum's property. Gemma was professional, efficient and competent. She dealt with any issues quickly and effectively. Within three weeks of the property being on the market, we received offers. Gemma has a wealth of experience and knowledge and advised on the best option. She was right. The sale went smoothly and Gemma was happy to nudge solicitors when all went quiet. We completed in less than three months.
I wouldn't hesitate to use this estate agent again and would highly recommend them.

After all the ups and downs of buying…
After all the ups and downs of buying and selling, I honestly cannot thank Anna and Zoe at Preston Baker enough.
From start to finish they have been absolutely amazing — always there 24/7, keeping everyone in the loop, keeping things moving and somehow managing to keep everyone happy throughout such a stressful process.
They truly went above and beyond for us and genuinely made miracles happen. Not only did they sell our house, but they also helped us secure our dream home.
At times they felt like our estate agents, solicitors and therapists all rolled into one!

A difficult and traumatic experience, but supported by our agent
Our house move took over a year, thanks to 2 sets of committed buyers withdrawing for personal reasons. We chose Preston Baker at Oakwood, Leeds because of the single point of contact Gemma Duxbury, who formed a WhatsApp group with us. She was warm, supportive and approachable throughout especially when having to deliver 'bad news', which she always did via a phone call. We had little contact therefore with the office, but Gemma was always responsive when needed. Each of the three times that our house went on market, Gemma and the office had plenty of viewers lined up and we sold quite quickly on each occasion.
There were a couple of times during the process when we felt that little progress was being made and we had to be proactive ourselves, forming a relationship with our vendors and our buyers. However, the fact that we are finally in our last 'forever home' is largely due to Gemma holding our hands on our tortuous journey. We would recommend Preston Baker and, particularly, Gemma.

An amazing team
We had a fantastic experience with Preston Baker from start to finish. After initially speaking with Rachel Lansdell, we were really impressed by how accommodating and flexible she was. She went out of her way to fit us into the viewing schedule around several other appointments we already had, which made the whole process so much easier.
At the viewing itself, we were greeted by Gemma Duxbury, whose positive energy was genuinely infectious. She was incredibly knowledgeable about both the property and the local area, and she took the time to address our concerns about the location - particularly whether it might feel too far from a high street or local amenities. Her insight and reassurance made a real difference.
We left the viewing feeling uplifted, well‑informed, and genuinely excited about the property. Thank you for such a warm, smooth, and enjoyable experience!

Awful company!!!
They DO NOT respect privacy laws. Once they have your details they will contact and hound you daily with calls, emails, text messages, even WHATSAPP!
They do not remove you from their lists.

Positive experience - diligent and professional
Gemma Duxbury recently sold our Mums house. She found us a buyer quickly, and was always available to answer any questions that we had. We had various delays with the sale and Gemma kept us informed as things evolved. It was a difficult situation for us as our mother is very ill and we were selling on her behalf, and Gemma was very sensitive to this. She was polite, diligent and professional throughout the whole process.

We’ll never use them again
Our agent was amazing, photos were great and the sale was relatively quick. When we were passed on to the after sales team there were lots of problems.
1 - Pushing wrong dates into the chain for completion without consulting the CONVEYANCERS first. This caused a homeowner to remove his tenant too early and his house stood empty for 3 months.
2 - Tried to get us to PAY the buyer at the bottom of the chain’s rent because they moved out of their rented property too quickly because they thought the sale was going to happen really quickly. See point 1.
3 - Didn’t really care about the move or the people involved in the chain. All they wanted was the thousands of pounds in fees when the move completed. This became apparent at Christmas when there was an attempt to make the move happen before the new year (to recognise the revenue).
Once our agent left - under suspicious circumstances - with no communication from Preston Baker to us, the whole thing just fell apart. Our home move never completed. After 2 years of selling and collapsing chains, we gave up.

Very positive experience
We had a very positive experience with Preston Baker during our purchase in Leeds.
Shawn was responsive, professional and proactive throughout the process. Viewings were arranged quickly and flexibly, and communication was always clear and straightforward.
The transaction itself progressed smoothly from the agency side, and the handover of the property was handled efficiently. We particularly appreciated the reliability and willingness to assist when timings were tight.

Buying Experience
From the minute we viewed the property with Rachel, she has been informative and knowledgeable. Her communication has been brilliant and I was really pleased that when our offer was accepted, it is Rachel dealing with the sale.
