Best cake around, had several and all have been absolutely delicious

Angela is the safest pair of hands you could put your sale into. She’s professional, friendly, insightful and really knows her onions. We had to accelerate our sale as we found our onward purchase sooner than expected. Angel was nothing but supportive, and turned the most unremarkable viewing into an asking price over. Challenges followed but she met each with dedication and determination. Her comms were flawless. Can’t recommend her enough 🙏🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙏🏻

Gemma was fantastic throughout. She has excellent knowledge of the property market in the local area maximising our opportunities. I would recommend.

We sold our house via Preston Baker which we found to be a great experience. Jess handled the sale- she was brilliant throughout- she understood the house and the area we lived in, organised a launch day where we had loads of viewings and secured us several offers. The buyer we ended up choosing has been great and it has been smooth sailing from there. Julie at Preston Baker would give us weekly updates and really put my mind at rest regarding time frames (sorry for the stressed phone calls Julie!). Great service and would highly recommend.

After a mammoth 12 month wrestling match with solicitors and the Land Registry (woe is me) we eventually made our sale and managed to move. Nerves were frayed and anger raised, but Gemma Duxbury was fantastic throughout, doing all she could to shake up incompetent conveyancing and LR lethargy to get our sale across the line. We both have the bruises from banging our heads against the wall. Ever grateful for all of her help and support through that torrid process.

Gemma Carter did a brilliant job of selling our house from start to finish. When out first buyer dropped out halfway through the process Gemma contacted the other parties who had made offers and had resold it within 24hrs. Then towards the end of the process when the chain was creaking under the strain and looking like collapsing she went above and beyond to make sure we made it through to completion.

Gemma Duxbury was absolutely great throughout the process of selling our house. We would highly recommend her. Thanks Gemma.

I wanted to leave a review for Jayne Tomlinson. I was the buyer but she was always so helpful and got back to me straightaway. Of If I were to sell my property I would definitely contact Jayne. I would highly recommend her.

I first contacted Preston Baker to come out and view my property in November 2024 for a valuation. After some pondering I finally decided in 2025 the time was right to move on.
I contacted Jayne Tomlinson, who did my valuation and her hard work/communication made the dreaded stressful house move everyone talks about, an absolute breeze.
The fees were extremely fair and good value.
Any questions from my buyers solicitors weren't sat on, I was kept in regular communication which made the whole sale process go quicker than expected.
Jayne has truly been fantastic, my property was advertised and had sold in less than a month, she was always available if I had any questions, and was also really personable, which added to whole process making it exciting and again such an easy experience.
I really can't thank her enough.

If the time comes to move on, I would 100% contact her again.

I’ve been dealing with Gemma Duxbury at Preston Baker while searching for a new home, viewing a few properties, and she’s been brilliant. From the very first viewing, she was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. I really appreciated her proactive approach and the way she made sure I was always kept informed about next steps and progress. She made the whole process smooth and easy, exactly what you hope for when buying.

Also, her colleague Gemma Carter recently came to value our home and I was really impressed with how friendly and down-to-earth she was. She took the time to explain everything clearly, gave us honest advice, and made what could have felt like a daunting process very straightforward. We invited Preston Baker to give a valuation of our house on 16/8/25. The agent was professional and polite but the companies ridiculously high fees, which she obviously didn’t divulge until the end of our meet made our minds up for us. We discounted them as soon as she told us the fees were over £8000.

Very poor communication. Calls not returned and messages not passed on. The girl I spoke with, wasn’t interested when I said that I was disappointed with their service.
A lot of money for very little effort.

Bad experience never rang me back despite several calls enquiring about viewing a property. I gave up in the end. This is one estate agent that I will never use or allow family to use if selling a property.

Terrible estate agents - we are trying to buy our first home and have spoke to 3 agents from this company and every single one has been incompetent.

It is impossible to book a viewing and I feel we were constantly chasing for updates on offers and viewings to be told they will call back and they do not.

We loved a property, made an offer but the agents have completely put us off it and any properties listed by Preston Baker will be avoided in the future.

Looking at some past reviews from FTB this seems common. You are meant to be selling homes stop making people feel like nuisances trying to even get a viewing.

I instructed Preston Baker on a sale in good faith, based on what they present as a high-quality, proactive service — but my experience so far has been extremely disappointing.

Photos were taken and the property was listed, but that’s the bare minimum I’d expect from any estate agent. Beyond that, there has been no tailored property launch as promised. It took an entire week just to collect keys, causing unnecessary delays from the start.

Communication has been consistently poor — getting any feedback takes days, and we’ve had to chase for literally everything. On one occasion, we were reassured that an offer would be made, only to be told later that the viewer actually hated the location and wasn’t even financially in a position to buy. This is not the professional service we were led to believe we’d get.

Overall, Preston Baker try to make themselves look like they offer something above and beyond an average estate agent — but in reality, they’re actually worse.

Preston baker have helped us during the sale of our home. Jess who has dealt with us throughout has been there every step of the way. She has kept us updated and communicated with us from start to finish.
