James was brilliant at explaining all the work that needed to be done and why it needed to be done.

The whole team were great and the service was really friendly and it was much cheaper than going to a main dealer garage

Ordered tyres a couple of days before, turned up and tyres were fitted quickly with no fuss. Great service

Efficient, great customer service

Took my 3 year old Audi in for a routine service. They overfilled the engine with oil and wrote the car off!!! They gave me use of a hire car to cover their negligence and took it back without warning leaving me stranded without a car. Special mention goes to Rob Worton who has zero communication skills with customers. Failed to keep me informed of what was going on. Dreadful.

I’ve used Protyre Bridgend today and several times now for both tyres and MOTs, and every visit has been a great experience. James on reception is always polite, friendly, and professional. He takes the time to clearly explain what’s going on with the car and keeps you updated throughout, which really gives you confidence and peace of mind.

The mechanics are just as good — knowledgeable, approachable, and happy to discuss any issues or concerns you might have. They offer honest advice without any pressure, which is refreshing and much appreciated.

Overall, Protyre Bridgend provides excellent customer service, clear communication, and reliable workmanship. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will definitely continue using them in the future.

Arrived at appointment time and the staff were ready and waiting. I found them very efficient and professional and Paul behind the counter was excellent too. For 3 tyres I was in and out with 40 mins and very competitively priced.

Refunded 1 tyre as tread was like new. Good service like this will make you return and recommend to others. Waiting room has been updated since my last visit. It was very comfortable and didn’t mind waiting for the work to be completed.

I recently visited Protyre Bridgend thinking I would need two new front tyres, and possibly the rear ones as well, as my car was due for its first MOT just two days later. I was quite anxious about it, but they were able to fit me in quickly.
The mechanic took the time to walk me around the vehicle, used a proper tread depth gauge, and clearly explained that all of my tyres were in good condition and well within legal limits. I was genuinely surprised, as I was convinced the front tyres needed replacing.
What really stood out was the honesty. As a woman with limited knowledge in this area, it would have been very easy to recommend unnecessary work, but that didn’t happen. Instead, I was given clear, truthful advice and reassurance.
I’m writing this review to say that Protyre Bridgend is a trustworthy, female friendly garage, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Good service as usual, only 3 stars as tracking system not operational. Should be always operational when fitting new tyres.

Could not fault the service I received

Urgent tyre replacement for my Honda. Received swift and friendly service had my car back on the road in less than half an hour. Very competitive price. 1st class service. I will definately use the Bridgend branch and will try the Pembroke branch.
