Great guys top service. Last minute tracking needed for a class 7 commercial van. Found the time to fit it in that afternoon, and cheaper than anywhere else around.

I drove over an hour to get to protyre fitting centre in Cambridge only to be told my tyres were not there. Today was the appointment day confirmed by email.

This is very disappointing to say the least. I've requested a full refund and shall NEVER use protyre again. I was given a phone number for possible escalation only for the man at the other end to say he can't help! What terrible service!

On this occasion the job (fitting a new tyre after I'd had a puncture) was done very quickly - no fuss, no delay, fair price.

I have been using them for years and have always found them to be so helpful and I have complete faith in them, they are honest, kind and give excellent advice always!

Efficient no fuss service & always well priced

My car was looked at without much delay. I needed a wheel alignment following a collision on a roundabout. The technician reported the body damage my car had sustained and then did the realignment.

I have used these guys for 2 years and they always do a good job and look after me. Also good free coffee!

The people there were fantastic, from the person who welcomed me to Pip who did my MOT.
He walked me through what was wrong and advised me on the exact advisories I would be getting, even fixed one of the issues that would have failed the MOT then and there.

The service at Protyre Cambridge has declined significantly. Work is rushed, poorly executed, and customer care is almost nonexistent. This garage is simply not worth your time or money—choose elsewhere if you value quality service.

I had trusted Protyre Cambridge for years and even recommended them to family and colleagues. Unfortunately, my recent experience was unacceptable. I ordered a tyre online on Thursday for a Saturday fitting, only to be told on arrival that the tyre hadn’t arrived—with no explanation given.

I had travelled 20 miles for this appointment, yet the receptionist offered no apology, only a vague promise of a call later that never came. The lack of communication and accountability suggested my booking was deprioritized in favor of other customers.

By Monday morning I finally received a call, but since I was at work the fitting was delayed until Wednesday. When I returned, the technician placed my car on the ramp, printed the alignment readings, and made no adjustments—despite the fact I had already paid online for the full service. They claimed the bolts were seized, but another technician then drove my car recklessly across the road before returning it when they realized I was watching.

This behavior was both careless and unprofessional. Protyre Cambridge has lost my trust, and I cannot recommend them to anyone seeking reliable service.

swift professional service and good price

Clueless about how to perform an alignment on SUVs with air suspension. Previously did not torque wheel bolts correctly and were loose. Avoid.

All good. Nothing to complain about.

The guys fitted new tyres as requested - what more can I ask for? What would have been really nice? That my driver seat settings were not changed. They only had to drive it from the forecourt to the garage - surely they don't need to move my seat? I couldn't even reach the pedals when I got back in and I'm not that short! I was offered tea/coffee; the first two choices that I made were not working! Thankfully the third one produced a hot liquid!

Great service. Started exactly on time and fitted a set of 4 new tyres in 90 minutes as promised. Really friendly staff.
