These lads couldn't have done more if they had tried. I had a puncture just 8 hours before attempting a 300-mile drive to catch a ferry. Nobody was able to fit me in except for Protyre in Corby, who managed to squeeze me in and fix the tyre promptly and without any drama. Their prices are competitive as well. While I was waiting, I was pleased to hear them give a drop-in customer honest advice, without trying to upsell anything unnecessary. It was a very rewarding experience.

I booked an appointment at the Protyre - Corby branch online for a full set of 4 tyres, but the experience was a series of errors from start to finish.

First, I was contacted by Diane to say their system had allowed a booking on Boxing Day when they were closed. Mistakes happen, so I rescheduled. I then proactively called a day before my new appointment to confirm the tyres were in stock; Diane assured me they were ready to go.

I drove 45 minutes to get to the branch (1.5 hours round trip). On the day, I handed my keys to Liam, who told me the car would be ready in a couple of hours. However, just an hour later, I received a call saying they actually didn't have the tyres and could only change two.

How can a branch confirm stock on the phone, take the keys from the customer, and only then realize they don’t have the products? It is clear they have no idea how to manage their booking system and cannot ensure tyres are ready for a scheduled appointment. They couldn't even properly double-check their own stock when specifically prompted.

This level of incompetence is unacceptable, and they have lost my trust entirely. I have cancelled the job and demanded a full refund for the wasted journey. If you value your time and your car, stay away from Protyre! If they can't manage their calendar, logistics and a simple stock confirmation on the phone, they shouldn't be trusted working on premium vehicles.

Went on busy Monday after Xmas. Had puncture which needed replacing. Booked online and had a lengthy wait on the day but that was because of how busy the place was. Receptionists customer care was excellent as she tried to solve everyone’s issues and redirect them to other places. That ate into my time but meant many others had received exceptional help when they needed it most.

Had a flat so booked and paid for a new tyre. Garage found they could repair the puncture so refunded for tyre and just charged the amount for repair. Good honest service.

Highly Recommend

After replacing 4 tyres only a month ago, I found one tyre kept going down, and needed inflating. Sadly not due to a faulty valve as I hoped, but a large nail all the way through my new tyres. Fixed and back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Thanks. Excellent service.

Swift and professional services

First time using Protyre and very happy with the service I received. Car was in for an MOT and needed some work which was done without any issues and at a great price. Customer service/communication spot on. I would recommend and will use them again in the future.
