Good service, informative friendly staff

Helpful staff, Quick service and a good price.

Edit: I have now had the exhaust looked at and sorted out by a proper company. The whole thing had to be removed as Protyre had completely butchered the fitting. Had to pay twice now to have it fitted. Wish I’d never been to Protyre.
If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Booked in to have an exhaust fitted. I had a mot booked for later in the day. I explained this to them,
The guy that was fitting it to start with was great but then he was taken of it to do another job. The next guy who was fitting couldn’t have been slower. After 3.5 hours I was told it was all sorted and ready to go. Off I go to get my mot. The guy at the mot station said there was no point testing my car as the exhaust wasn’t fitted right. Back I go to Protyre. They got the car back on the lift and the exhaust wasn’t even joined together……. A customer in the waiting room said another fitter had been through when I had gone saying I shouldn’t have been allowed to drive away with the exhaust like it was. Another hour waiting only to be told they couldn’t fix it. Just terrible service. The chap who was fitting my exhaust couldn’t have been less interested. He obviously knew it wasn’t right but still let me go.

Lovely bloke at reception, always happy & helpful in such a stressful job , deserves a rise .. Top work by the technicians..

Great honest service and advice and reasonable prices both for MOT & Service

Booked the car in for service and MOT, a couple days before noticed wear in two front tyres so called and asked if they could be replaced the same day prior to MOT - agreed and was all set.
Day before hit a pothole on the M1, didn’t think too much about it.
Day of service noticed damage in a rear tyre, mentioned it at drop off. Turned out 4 tyres were needed in total.
Was kept up to date with the progress. Had phone call during the day to advise of the need for rear tyres as well as front and discussed tyre replacement type.
On pick up, advised bushed would need replacing in the next few months.
Decent price, great service.

These guys in Derby are so helpful. I can’t thank them enough for their care and attention. Would never go anywhere else. Special shout out to Craig and to Adam…two superstars!

Can all ways have a great laugh and good service

The local manager Craig works hard to fit everyone in and sort out the many organisational problems that fall on him. You can use an online tyre seller and book a slot or phone them and they will match the price, near enough.
Tracking was a waste of money though; didn't bother to check tyre pressures; told me there was no camber adjustment on my car; didn't understand how to change suspension modes. To be fair, the latter requires dealer-level ECU reader which I didn't know but a professional tyre shop should do.

I was able to get my new tyre fitted there and then and being as i was unable to drive the car home with the puncture this was really important for me.

Had a flat tyre on the Friday night got the car down to Protyre Saturday morning, was sorted with a new tyre (which I needed) within an hour even though they were busy and I didn't have an appointment. Good service!

Finaly found a trustworthy garage, used already for 3rd service, never found nothing additional at MOT or Service how halfords was everytime before.
