Went in got very good price on 2 tyres booked a slot went back in afternoon got fitted no messing about very happy

When asking on the phone for the full price quote of all 3 things I needed doing to my car, I was actually unknowingly only provided the quote for 1 one the things. When I came to collect my car I was told it was £130 more than I had been advised previously due to the “miscommunication” of only providing me a quote for 1/3rd of the work it was booked in for. When I expressed concern that I’d been quoted differently - I was told simply I could pay as part of a payment plan.
I had dropped my car off for an 11.30am appointment and was told it would take an hour or two, after hearing nothing by 3pm I called to be told it was only half way through being worked on and I could collect by 3.30/4pm.

Exceptional value and service. No fake advertising to not have the product, only to divert you to purchase another brand twice the price of original entrapment. This happened to me on compare sites.
Walked in discount was offered by a wonderful lady. Next day fitting !

Asked for the handbrake to be checked as it was struggling to hold on hills, you said the only thing you could find was slightly stretched cables.
Took to another garage and they found the brake pads were fitted without the carrier being cleaned which caused them to seize and wear the discs and pads unevenly. These discs and pads were fitted by yourselves previously, so didn't do a very good job. I will be using the other garage from now on.

I have used pro tyres many times but the last time the fitter used an air gun to take my locking nuts off resulting in the socket been damaged now needing to buy new locking nut set to top it off the fitter gave me the damaged nuts laughing as there could not go on the car don’t think I will be returning to pro tyres again

You had 2 empty bays and two staff members stood about both doing nothing at 2.45pm .yet you told me that you could not put a tyre on my car until 8.30 am the following day.

The tyre was loosing air quickly so it needed repair/replacement that day & you swapped the tyre as promised.

Easy to book, reasonable price, job completed quickly and on time

Positives: Easy MOT booking process, easy drop off, quick test, relatively cheap (£20).

Negatives: Not useful outside of the MOT test. I dropped the car off in the morning as stated, told it would be ~1 hour. So I called back after an hour, told the MOT was complete and car was ready to pick up.
Arrived at the test centre and was handed back the key and test paper, to my surprise it stated MOT FAIL.
To me, if I call up and the rep tells me the car is complete then I assume its passed and no remedial action is needed. That's how it has always worked, who wants a car back with a failed MOT?
When I asked the rep what is the problem and why wasn't I told it had failed over the phone, to which she responded they don't do that. Didn't even bother to give me an estimate for the work to rectify the fault, I asked can you give me a quote for the repairs, to which she said I will find out and call you back, but I requested it to be done whilst I wait. Eventually she called Euro car parts to ask for repair cost and quoted me £220 to repair the car.
Having lost faith in the repair centre, I took it around the corner to an independent station, who conducted the repair and MOT for half the price of the repair quoted.

My dad had taken his vehicle there before and told me a very similar story, I chanced it anyway as it was a cheap MOT. You know what they say, buy cheap, buy twice. Lesson learned.

Wouldn't use Protyle again, unless you want to be ripped off for any remedial work, or end up taking it elsewhere to repay for an MOT test. Never had such an experience or bad service from ANY place before, rep really was not interested and couldn't care less of the outcome or remedials.

I knew £20 for an m.o.t was too good to be true, and it was. They failed the which has never failed before stating fault which they failed to inform or show me when I was sitting in their waiting room. I asked the receptionist, the response was, he wouldn't have failed if there was nothing wrong. Then why he did not show me the faults when I was there?.
If you are thinking of using the discount code to get cheap MOT, then don't bother, they will fail it as not enough money for them. Never go there again. You got easy £20, didn't you?
