Protyre Autocare - Middlesbrough レビュー 

Took my car to a test station who informed me it wasn't a fail offenceI got them to do the work for me , never go to Protyre again.

Taken for MOT which failed - tried to charge £450 for brake pads, discs and windscreen wipers- told too expensive, then reduced to 400 - found a recommended garage to complete work for 180 - informed protyre I was going to pick up my car and got hard sell saying I could pay over 4 payments etc etc.
Went to pick up my car to be told work had been undertaken with the manager claiming to have misunderstood- got upset so he put the price down to 325 still didn’t have money so refused to give me my car back. This is a very brief analysis of what happened with protyre and I have complained although heard nothing yet !!! Think they saw a single female who they thought could be easily manipulated- so wrong !
I am editing this review as despite Protyre responding and asking me to email them with my concerns, I would like to inform I had already wrote a full letter of complaint and emailed this a week ago - I have since sent 2 further emails, again without response- it appears that even the customer relations team do not have the decency to acknowledge receipt of my complaint, let alone attempt to right the wrongs.
If I do not have any correspondence in the next day or 2 I will not hesitate to contact the motor ombudsman.

The staff were really helpful and thorough when I asked to have my coolant gas recharged for my AC.
There was also a deal on at Protyre which helped me decide to use them .
Secondly I asked them to check a slow puncture on my car and they found an internal rim which was not sealing. They repaired it there and then for a reasonable price also.
I will definitely use them again thanks to Steve and the gang.

This is the 2nd time of using yourself 1st time 4new tyres had no issues done within time scale and friendly staff couldn’t fault anything 2nd time service and a mot took car in a couple of hours later got a call saying it could not get done as ther was a electrical fault and was asked if I wanted a refund or a rebook took it back a couple of days later and the young lady completed the service and mot and passed it what a lovely lady she did everything for me great service thank you

I told them what tyres to fit on which wheels and to put the spare tyre into the boot. Because I didnt have a 5th wheel I asked if they knew of 1 for sale, They did and I drove 50 miles to get it. So I now have a spare wheel and tyre. The manager is the Man.

Received first class service from Steve and his team at Cannon Park branch, Middlesbrough. Toilets, coffee machine and cleanliness all first rate. Came in for 1 tyre didnt realise 3 needed doing. They went the extra mile and did all 3! Thank you very much

Steve from the Middlesbrough branch was brilliant in accomodating us and managed to squeeze us into a very busy schedule earliar than our appointment time. Tech got our van back on the road in no time.

Can't fault these guys, booked in for tracking and a bronze service , all done same day at a very reasonable price.

Unable to complete the work yet still charge customers. Had in for tyres and wheel alignment, unable to get steering straight had to take to another branch and steering still off. If you can’t do the job you should charge the customer.

Steve was very helpful and quick service, with discount off the tyres I purchased.
