I was able to wait in a nice clean area with drinks free on hand ...the crew were polite and cheery and got straight on with the job ....I would definitely recommend pro tyre and definitely use them again .

Great service at very short notice

Really not impressed with my visit to protyre at all. I phoned and asked if i could bring my car in JUST for a tyre depth check and was told to bring it in. When i arrived, to my surprise my car was driven onto the ramps, (which has never happened before) and subsequently an mechanic started doing all sorts of checks. To my astonishment i was informed that i needed two new rear tyres, new pads and discs on the rear of my car which came as a shock as you can imagine. My car was booked into a main dealer garage a couple of days later for an m.o.t. When i questioned the findings, i was then informed that perhaps the tyres would pass with an advisory on my m.o.t. but nothing about the discs and pads.I didn't enquire about the cost of this work because (a) i knew it would cost a fortune and (b) i didn't even ask them to check my brakes at all, so i left feeling a little confused as to why it was done in the first place. I then took my car for its m.o.t. to the main dealer where it passed. It had an advisory for worn pads and shoes and one tyre slightly worn all on the rear. This work obviously needs to be done and it will be in due course but there was nothing about the other tyre or the discs. Since looking into this further i have discovered that certain companies push a thing called "aggressive up selling" which means they try to get you to have work carried out that you simply dont need. I definitely will not be using Protyre ever again for any work whatsoever after this recent experience which is a shame because in the past i have found them to be reasonably priced and fair without trying to push completely unnecessary work onto the trusting public which was not needed.

I had booked my car in because the air conditioning wasn't working very well. They said it would take an hour and it was about an hour and 5 minutes when I got the car back. The air con is now great.

The staff was very professional and did a great job in fixing the headlights.

Super friendly and helpful people, took my car in to get the air conditioning regassed and they fixed my brake light for free whilst it was being done. I highly recommend them.

I contacted Protyre at Burgess Road to enquire about replacing a stop start battery for my Skoda Fabia. They were very knowledegable, helpful and friendly.
I live locally and within the hour had a new AGM battery fitted to my Fabia.

The team here are brilliant! Great customer service. Have used a few times and never had a negative experience. We had an MOT and service, the car needed extra work to pass, the communication from them was great and helped us to decide what to do to work within our budget. They are people you can trust, will definitely continue to go there for any future work required.

Managed to get my car in the next day for a diagnostics and quickly resolved the issue for me. Was very reasonably priced too. I've used them before and would use them again.
