The guys at Talke are a great bunch
The guys at Talke are a great bunch! Only had a tyre valve changed but they are always quick and good value for money. Use them whenever I've got any sort of wheel/tyre issue.

Easy to order, awful service
Ordering and delivery to the workshop was easy, however on attending my appointment I was told that my van would not fit under the door with a tent box on. Van plus rent box fits under 2.2m height barrier. It would apparently fit on the MOT ramp though so a new appointment was booked for the next day. My husband attended the next day appointment and was waiting for 30 minutes while the technician was ordering parts for his personal vehicle, The MOT bay was not used in the end and the technician changed the tyres outside on a jack. He could have just done that the day before. I felt uncomfortable the day before hence sending my husband the next day.

False information
Mechanic stated the car had no oil in it which was nothing to do with tyre fitting and the engine was actually had a half full tank of oil.
Hope he wasn’t trying to get extra work from a lone female Tyres and fitting were spot on

I received First class service from…
I received First class service from protyre from my initial enquiry to picking my vehicle up from repair. When I enquired the manager came out on a test drive to listen to my concerns, after booking my vehicle in for the repairs and service, I collected it and was actually shown the worn out replaced parts.
The repairs were completed in the time frame, I found there prices were very reasonable, certainty in line with anywhere else I had been, I had actually been trying for 2 years to rectify the problem with other garages, which £100s later failed to rectify this problem, protyre rectified it straight away.
Can’t thank you enough guys I certainly wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The tyre deal is good, but unfortunately, the staff’s behaviour was unprofessional and left a bad impression
If would say take deal on tyres only , I would recommend going elsewhere for other services . This is based honestly on my personal experience.
•The person at reception was very unfriendly and unprofessional. After looking at my package, their comment was literally: “You’re leaving with FREE stuff.”
I found this comment quite inappropriate. I had ordered and paid for everything I needed, including their standard service. Nothing was being given to me for free.
I expected a more professional and respectful attitude towards customers, especially when I was paying for the service. Unfortunately, the way I was spoken to left a very bad impression. 🙄
• The items included in the package were not even checked properly.
• On the positive side, the manager was quite helpful and approachable.
Overall, my experience was disappointing, mainly because of the staff’s attitude and lack of professionalism.
