I have been seriously ill for what seems like forever now with something doctors could not seem to find a cause for, it got really serious 7 months ago resulting in me being off work with long term sickness. Eventually I realised the cause of my illness was mould in my home so I did a lot of research on how to take the first step of remediating the mould and the clear option was Pure Maintenance.

Yesterday my house was treated and from the beginning of the process Pure Maintenance has been amazing. Nick has been great in the booking process and run up to the treatment, answering my questions (regardless of how ridiculous they were) confidently and reassuringly. Matt on the day was fantastic, again patient with my million questions, putting my mind at ease and explaining the whole process in detail and with clear passion for what he does. I had a slight wobble today and called the office and they clarified details, again making me feel like my questions were valid and made me confident that everything is going to be ok and with the peace of mind that I can know it is dealt with and I can now focus on getting my health back on track.

I am now just over 24hrs in my treated home and I already think I am starting to feel a change in my health which blows my mind. Knowing CEO Sam has first hand experience of what I am dealing with and the obvious passion he has to deal with what is a hidden and not well enough understood issue in this country cemented my decision to book with these guys and that passion runs through the team in their understanding of the health implications and also sharing suggestions for products and advice above and beyond their remit.

All through the process communication has been clear, the information provided has been easy to understand which when you have mould toxicity and the brain fog, memory issues etc. that come with it is essential.

Ahead of the appointment the Customer Services team made it super easy to book the work in and they were more than happy to answer any questions that I had on the lead up to the work. Saj attended on the day to do the work and was very professional. He contacted me the day before to confirm what time he would arrive at the property. Upon attending Saj listened to my concerns about having the treatment done when we have a newborn in the property and he explained all of the options available to me. Once the work was done the visible mould had been cleaned and the house felt cleaner.

Rory was very helpful in his explaining every step of the process. He was very friendly and made sure we knew what to expect with noise levels and smell etc. the finished result is great!

I live in a terraced Victorian house which is prone to condensation, cold/damp spots and a few small patches of mould. I contacted pure maintenance and received helpful advice via phone and email. The technician Matthew arrived promptly and was thorough and professional. All mould was removed, full survey done and lots of helpful advice to help us move forwards. He was also really patient and understanding whilst I managed two young children in all this (getting them in and out the property) which was much appreciated. I’m really happy I chose this company, it was quite expensive but worth it.

Joe the technician was absolutely superb from the moment he turned up to the moment he left. He explained clearly what he was going to be doing and kept in contact with me throughout the day. The property has been thoroughly cleaned and I have been provided with the relevant information about how to prevent further issues. I would highly recommend Pure Maintenance to anybody who has mould issues.

Richard, he did such a great job today with the removal and cleaning out with the mould and dump issues. He is very friendly and knowledgeable, he explained everything regarding mould issues and how to prevent mould/ damp. Our house is well cleaned after the treatment. Thank you Richard for such an excellent job you did for us.

I was so worried from start to finish. But absolutely blown away by what I could see when I walked through my door after 9 hrs. Richard, was just a pleasure to welcome to my home. He kept me up to date with all procedures etc and waited around for me to get home to feedback face to face. My house feels warmer, cleaner and the bedrooms and bathroom feel a lot more welcoming and warm. Thank you again Richard and the amazing company you work for.

Found what I thought was mould in my loft. Panicked and got in touch with pure maintenance. House is 7 years old.
Guy came and said I had black stains but no furry mould. He treated my loft for mould. Roughly a month later and my loft still has staining. I then got an email saying that they could not guarantee the work they had done.
Was told they were waiting on results from an air test but I have not heard anything since to guarantee if the work was effective.
This cost me £1080. When I come to sell the house I will now probably need to pay for a loft survey.

Update on my review.

I was contacted today by Mia from Pure Maintenance.
After a friendly discussion with her she gave me a few options on what I could do.
She offered me a substantial percentage of a refund on the original price. I was happy to accept.
I didn't expect to hear from them, so I am more than impressed with the after service. Due to this and what I now believe to be a small misunderstanding i am changing my review from 2 to 4 star. My only issue was no guarantee, but it has been explained why they can't guarantee a loft space or cellar.

Mathew was very knowledgeable and gave us loads of information upfront and after the work was completed. Hopeful of a very positive outcome given the effort he put in! Would recommend him and the service.

I was amazed at the results. The process was so effective and the member of staff so professional, knowledgeable but friendly. There is absolutely no mould at all and our very old stone house was really suffering from it. Highly recommended.

We had mould growing everywhere in our flat roof house. We used their service of finding what kind of mould is and fumigating the whole house. All was smooth and easy. The strain of mould they found was from wood decay so we realised roof is leaking somehow and humidity in the house was not below 70% no matter if heating is on or off.
Now a year later and after fixing the roof there is no evidence of mould in the house. Now humidity rarely exceeding 60%but normally is 54%. I do recommend Pure Maintenance services.
