My husband and I organized a group of 4 couples to travel throughout Italy for 3 weeks in September, 2015. We spent a week in Rome, a week on the Amalfi Coast, and a week in Tuscany. For the weeks on the Amalfi Coast and in Tuscany, we rented villas through RentVillas.com. Our experience dealing with RentVillas was wonderful from start to finish. Their website offered many more choices than many of the other villa rental companies. The website also contained loads of information and pictures concerning the villas, all of which was very helpful as we were narrowing our choices. Our assigned travel consultant, Sarah, was really helpful as we made our final selections. It was such a comfort to discuss our choices with a knowledgeable person who had first-hand knowledge of the various villas. I much preferred this to other services like VRBO, which provides no support - renters are completely on their own when dealing with owners. After we booked the villas, our consultant was great about promptly answering any questions that arose as we prepared for the trip. We were also able to book private chefs and tour guides through RentVillas.com, as well as getting great rates from the rental car company with which they are associated. I would recommend RentVillas.com to anyone who is interested in booking a villa in Europe and we plan to use them as often as we have the opportunity to do so.

We used RentVillas to plan our European vacation this Fall. It was our first experience with this company and it was a pleasant and easy one. The communication between myself and their representatives was clear and timely. My questions were answered honestly and the Villa we rented was accurately represented on the website. I plan to use RentVillas again and have no hesitation to recommend them to others.

I found a terrific villa through RentVillas.com. The happy surprise, however, was the service RentVillas provided. I had an agent who had lived in the region I was traveling to in Italy and she was very responsive and helpful by email and phone before my trip, even on such mundane issues as power converters and availability of ATMs, not to mention transportation options to the villa. She even checked my Google Translate version of directions I had prepared for the taxi driver for me. I don't speak Italian. The owners of the villa did not speak English. But they had arranged an English speaker for me to call who served as a go between, which really came in handy. I would absolutely, positively use RentVillas.com again. The crazy thing is, no one I know has heard of it. Well, I have and I'm glad.

My experience with RentVillas.com organizing our trip to Provence was a pleasant surprise, The agent assigned was efficient and extremely well organized. There were no surprises at inconvenient times, this rental company will arrange your visit to the rental property with meticulous attention to every detail. This will include precise directions to what I considered a rather remote property.
The villa we rented was spectacular, the location was private but very convenient for sightseeing and shopping for essential supplies. We would not hesitate to use this company for future travel arrangements.

My wife and I spent a wonderful week with another couple at Villa Sella in early September 2015. We used the services of RentVillas.com to secure the villa. The location of the villa is close to Certaldo, but in a country setting. We woke in the morning to the sounds of birds and other wildlife, and enjoyed our morning coffee sitting on the covered veranda taking in the outstanding sights of the rolling hills and vineyards nearby. The villa is decorated and furnished very tastefully. The baths and kitchen are modern and upscale. The owner of the villa, Elizabeth, was wonderful. She was forever looking for ways to make our stay enjoyable. She was a wealth of ideas for sightseeing trips or places to eat. Her bubbly personality and English speaking (she lived in the US formerly) made for great interactions with us. We were saddened to have to leave Villa Sella and Elizabeth and her family after our too- short week's stay. We look forward to returning again soon. Our experience with RentVillas.com was outstanding. Our dedicated "go-to person" was Jannah and we found her to be very knowledgeable of travel to the Tuscany region of Italy. She was an excellent source of information about weather conditions, driving advice, restaurants, language issues, and do's and don'ts while traveling in Italy. This was our first opportunity to visit Italy and we had a great time thanks to the advice we received from Jannah and the rest of the staff at RentVillas.com. We would highly recommend using their services for securing upscale housing in overseas locations. We definitely will go to RentVills.com for our future travel.

Our primary Rentvillas contact was exceptional. Prompt replies to our inquiries, great recommendations to help us select the right villa and quickly worked to address the finer detailed issues: we needed bicycles and in no time they were arranged and even delivered.

Rentvillas's website is filled with first class homes (not houses) from which to choose. We especially liked the comments and advice from previous renters. This went a long way in helping us decide the right villa for us as well as where to eat, shop and tour. Recommendations of alternative properties was appreciated as well as the "checklist" of thinks to bring/do before traveling to the villa. The pictures provided of virtually every room as well as outdoor scenery was equally valuable to us.

For first time users of renting a home in another country, the experience exceeded our expectations. There is no question that we will use Rentvillas's services again.

Our Italian Villa dream vacation was everything we expected and more! We celebrated 30 yrs of wedded bliss and a 50th BDay to boot!! Fun and romance all packed into a week at an enchanting home- Villa Nocchi. It was the perfect home base to explore Northern Tuscany and the wonderful Cinque Terre. We are already planning our next visit to another part of Italy. We will definitely contact Rent Villas and Nicole for our next adventure to maybe Venice, Lake Como, etc. Ciao!

I planned a trip for 10 people to Italy, we went in October 2015. Our RentVillas rep was wonderful. She answered all of our questions and made the booking process very easy on us. Very nice villa, large comfortable beds and spacious bedrooms. Walking distance to nearby Santa Brigida and winery right down the hill to tour and purchase wine. Wifi , at times, was iffy and need more appliance plugs in kitchen but the charm of the villa overshadowed any issues

Our group was referred to Rent Villas.com by a colleague. We were impressed with the range of properties from which to choose. Once we found a villa, we were assigned a Travel Advisor who assisted us every step of the way. Rent Villas pays attention to details and has anticipated virtually every question you might have. Communication is superb and processes are clearly spelled out. One of the greatest properties I have ever seen. The most amazing views of the surrounding countryside from high atop the hill. Large swimming pool surrounded by Olive trees, spectacular pool house, bocce court, and very private. Beautiful rooms, spacious and well appointed. Plenty of space for 12 people. Fig trees, peach trees, apple trees provide bountiful fruit. Close to Sienna, San Gimannano, Florence and Lucca. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Wonderful tour guides and great chef at house.

My family and I stayed at Villa Zeno during the last week of August into early September. The villa was just absolutely amazing - the views itself win you over and all of the rooms, breakfast/dining have breathtaking views. The staff was extremely helpful from when we first met (carrying all of our bags) to when we left. Words can't explain how beautiful, spacious, and home-y the villa is. We have RentVillas to thank for this. We wanted a perfect family getaway and my parents splurged to make our ideal vacation happen. We’ve had horrible experiences in the past with travel companies so there was some hesitation, but the team at RentVillas made sure all of our questions were answered and worked hard to make sure our dream vacation came true. It's a bit scary sending off a lot of money to a company and people you have never met or done business with before. Rentvillas wasn't even referred to us. Booking a villa in Italy for a large group for a 25th anniversary can be a little intimidating. Reservations and ultimately the checkin process was seamless. Instructions were clear and timely. Our contact person was friendly, helpful and reliable. Sarah accommodated all our questions and sought out answers and alleviated any of our concerns. RentVillas offered travel tips and information as well as helpful advice for our Tuscany vacation.
