The Villa -3 bedrooms -3 bathrooms, large kitchen with dinning room, comfortable living room -- washer and dryer Awesome!! We travel a lot and finding place that come close to the comfort of home, is not always to be found. THIS was the spot. Quite location over looking the Tuscany Countryside. 2 mile walk to town for pizza and about a 10 minute drive to groceries. RENT a car or small van, have some in the passenger seat running the GPS and off you go. Driving in the countryside was not a problem- need to pay attention but you get use to it very quickly

In the process of selecting, then booking a Villa in Italy from RentVillas we received excellent service throughout the whole process. The description of the Villa that we rented turned out to be generally correct and the check-in and leave process was well organized. A few minor problems that we experienced with the Villa while we were there were quickly resolved.

We would use the services of RentVillas again.

Rent villas was able to match the lowest price of a villa that was advertised on multiple websites. The associates there are extremely responsive and helpful and it gave me confidence that everything would work out. I was not disappointed. The villa in Positano exceeded my expectations.

This was our first time to rent a villa in the Tuscany region. We contacted Rent-A-Villa and spoke to Nicole, who is now a good friend. She took our needs and location and found the perfect place. Located 3 miles from Siena. Our GPS took us right to the gate of the villa which was locked but the property manager, Jesus, answered his phone and was there in 10 short minutes. The Villa del Cielo with Caminetto (with fireplace) was beautiful. It's actually a 1,400 year old chapel with attached quarters for religious priests and nuns.

I can't tell you how beautiful the hillside view was from our villa. Each morning, the fog would lift and provide an incredible view of not only Siena but the Tuscany valley region.

The bedrooms were spacious by Italian standards and very comfortable. The WiFi usually worked but the hot water heater couldn't keep up with the demand of six couples until the manager fixed it. the only real problem were the two electric gates allowing access to the property but we finally figured out how to make them work right, (again with the help of our manager).

The combination of the chapel, two kitchens, seven bedrooms and five bathrooms were amazing. Plenty of room for all. The fireplace was located off one of the kitchens in a sitting area which became a perfect place for a glass of wine after walking through Siena all day. Two outside arbors were perfect for those of us enjoying a evening cigar with our wine and of course stories of our travels of the day.

Weekly villa cleaning is required by the rental agreement which was 190 euros per week. The utilities were an additional 500+ euros per week which is understandable because the villa was only 727 euros per week. When that's divided by six couples, its still very reasonable. It was too cool to use the swimming pool but the grounds made for a very pleasant stroll each morning.

On the winding road to the villa you'll pass a restaurant called Ristoranti Montebuccio. Please stop and have dinner there. It's less than 2 minutes from the villa and has a varied menu. We ate there 2-3 times a week when we didn't want to drive back into Siena. It's a family atmosphere with great food, local beers and wines.

I apologize for this long review but we stayed here for three weeks and had a total of twelve couples come and go while we were there. So this review encompasses all of our thoughts.

RentVillas.com was very thorough on all aspects concerning the rental of the Villa del Castello. From the moment we made the initial reservation until the departure from the villa, everything happened just as they said it would without any problems. It is a beautiful place to stay. It will always stand out as one of our most memorable vacations.

In my mind so many Americans go to Northern Italy when the Amalfi Coast is the best part of Italy. The mix of different foods and the people are just great and friendly. I have been to all parts of Europe and this was the best. The list of cities and towns are endless. Napoli, Sorrento, Capri, Positano, Ravello, Maiori, Salerno and many more. The small towns to me are the best and my favorite is Sant' Agata, small but great food with many good restaurants. One of the best in all of Italy. Don Alfonso a must see with great food and a wine cellar that has to be in the top five in all of Italy. Other restaurants Da Mimi, great home cooking that brings me back to my family recipes. My Grand Mothers and my Mother would be very happy in this area. Get away form the crowds and see what Italy is all about. Check out RentVillas.com and live the Italian life. You will not be sorry.

If you want to see another side of Tuscany beyond Lucca and it's lovely surrounds, try the 90+ minute drive from Rome to Cortona, Italy. The old town itself is charming with butchers, flower and shoe shops, town square operatic singers, restaurants and a view to die for. The Casa Berrettini home is completely remodeled by the owner to give you a wonderful holiday experience. Sit at the kitchen refectory table and your window looks onto the entire valley floor. We never wanted to dine out with the fresh market vegetables and beautiful meats we found at the butcher shop downtown and with such a finely appointed kitchen, we cooked and ate in quite a bit. Located on a cobble paved lane that made for some good up and down hill walks (it's steep but very doable with good shoes) we watched people from the kitchen coming and going as they enjoyed the renovated homes that still carry original fronts and roofs which are more charm that one can really take in...nice quiet location on a corner with only one lane being used by cars but very few daily trips. Parking for our rental car was a short walk in the back entry to Cortona which was really gorgeous. That road that leads into the village is dotted with Italian Cypress, loads of olive orchards and old, still active churches you can explore--the country side is highly visible from the perched location of Cortona--it looks like a postcard!! The village has great hill as well as flat walking places--one such flat area was off the main terrace of the City and featured tree lined lighted, wide pathways where we could stroll and look out over the valley floor. The shop keepers and area residents are real and real friendly. You can also hop down to the local neighborhood Co-op below Cortona for some very good larger grocery shopping--amazing array of garden fresh vegetables and wow the butcher shop was huge as well as a tremendous array of baked goods. You can get a real time Italian neighborhhood experience--after all it is 2015--coupled with a view on how things used to be thanks to the well cared for old City and the interior renovations coupled with all the old photos that hang in most reastaurants and shops!!
Casa Berrettini was a wonderful experience - you need to be comfortable with stairs as the house is on three levels with the heart of the the home--the kitchen--being on floor number two! We recommend it highly for a larger group as it has 3 full bedrooms--there were just two of us but it felt warm and cozy! Very nice laundry room and separate bath downstairs and super well appointed kitchen with a Bosch cooktop and oven made it super nice to cook--no dishwasher but it was not an inconvenience at all...after all you are on vacation and there is time to do the little things!!! The owner, Ivan, also has another home he rents--super nice gentlemen who checks you and an lets you enjoy the home on your own. Nice!!

We rented a wonderful cottage in Tuscany from rent villas... It was easy and everything went smoothly. The best part was the setting of the place... It suited us perfectly and we were so pleased... We would go back there again!

Every house and villa I have rented has been just as stated (and pictured) in the online brochures. Our group has always consisted of 8 to 10 people so the homes we've rented have been on the larger side. RentVillas is always able to get us the bedrooms and bathrooms we require; that's no easy task when each couple wants their own bathroom.
I have NEVER been disappointed with RentVillas and would recommend them without hesitation.

Our villa, Brezza di Mare, was perched on the side of the mountain, offering breathtaking views of Positano and the Mediterranean from our terrace. All of our arrangements for booking the villa and transportation from Naples to Brezza di Mare could not have gone any better. RentVillas.com website is very easy to navigate with a very informative write-up on each Villa. Our 3 week trip to Tuscany turned out better than we expected. The Villa was centrally located so that we could walk to town, drive or take the train to a variety of other small towns. The key holder for the Villa was easy to reach by phone and very accommodating to whatever we needed. Can't wait to book another trip!
