Brilliant company

Brilliant company! I’ve been searching everywhere to get some additional pieces for my Denby dinner service. Since going into administration everywhere was sold out, until I found Replacing Pieces. Luckily all still in stock and ordered everything I wanted.
All came quickly, extremely well packaged. Can’t recommend highly enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not genuine Denby

Although the packaging of the item I ordered was excellent, it is not genuine Denby. I have a huge set of Denby Greenwich pottery, including seconds, and needed to source only one item which I had broken. As Denby itself is now in adminstration, the item I needed was out of stock so I ordered from here. It is clearly not even a second quality Denby and does not have the Denby stamp on the bottom (which all Denby does, including seconds). It is also slightly different in shade to the rest of my geniune Denby. Really disappointing, however I have kept the item as I can no longer get it directly and I needed just one to make up my full dinner service. :-(

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you are not happy with the item you have received from us, and we would be more than happy to have it returned to us for a full refund. Should you have contacted us on receipt of the item, by email or phone, we would have been able to advise on how to return it

As with the majority of Denby, and certainly the older pieces, the backstamp is added AFTER the glaze has been applied so can wear/fade or even disappear over time due to dishwashing etc. Some Denby seconds may never have had a backstamp applied, but as all our products are previously owned, we could not possibly advise of how/why this particular item does not have a backstamp, which is why the item was a GRADE 2 condition piece that you purchased from us as opposed to a Grade 1 piece

Availability of the item I required; rapid dispatch and delivery; frequent notification of progress of delivery; item was perfectly packed to prevent damage during transit.
