Bought a pioneer dj plx500 from Manchester store recently and the service given was excellent. Young man called shiv answered all my questions and set up the turntable for me to try and experience the sound first hand. I also received a good deal on my purchase so thank you to all at Richer sounds Manchester

NOT the company they once were
Not the company they once were. Very very poor customer service and not nice people in charge of the shops? Where is Mr Richer? Why is he not supervising his staff properly anymore? Not run by genuine people like it was in the past. Used to be THE Audio Shop. Not anymore. Luckily there are now other companies that offer similar warranties.

Firstly I should point out that this review is posted on our Manchester branch page, with whom you have had no contact. Without going fully into the specifics of your issues publicly here, having dealt with your complaint extensively I do feel your review is unfairly harsh and doesn’t reflect what actually happened in relation with your television.
I understand things do go wrong from time to time of course and we will always do our upmost to help our customers resolve them when they do. I’m sorry however on this occasion we were unable to do so because despite you insisting your item had a very obvious fault of a loud noise, it showed no signs of that whatsoever when we tested it in our workshop.
I do hope however that prospective customers will consider the many thousands of happy customers who review us positively here on Trustpilot and allow us to maintain our 4.9 rating, furthermore I’m pleased to confirm we have since reached a compromise with you on a partial refund.

This business always goes the extra mile. Great courteous and knowledgable staff who are a pleasure to deal with. I have dealt with Richer Sounds over many years, and it always amazes me that their standards never slip. As always 10 out of 10!

Great to speak to guys who really know their stuff
Fantastic experience from start to finish. I was given a thorough demo of Sonos and DENON which highlighted the pros and cons of different sized options. I went for the DENON Home 250 in the end and really pleased with it. Great sound in a largish kitchen and looks fantastic in white. Alexa works a treat and links up with Spotify account to play music / playlists without having to pick up my phone. Even my wife approves which is always a bonus and not something you normally hear when buying speakers! Thanks guys, great job as usual.

Genuinely one of the best shop experiences I’ve ever had. Both Shiv and Ryan went above and beyond to help me with my query and just were so helpful and kind! I think Richer Sounds may save the high street with this level of customer service! Would give more stars if possible
