Exceptional and knowledgeable customer service re the choice of two TVs

What a pleasant surprise to re-experience customer service.
The Richer sounds team (Prestwich) handled my enquiry with patience and expertise. I entered with a question and exited 45 minutes later with a purchase of £400. This wasn't because they sold me something that I didn't need, it was because they sold me something that I didn't realise I needed.
Really pleased with my purchase and recommend a visit for anyone wanting to understand more about sound. The unit, I now have, has increased my immersion into the wonderful world of sound.

We purchased a new tv from richer sounds based on a competitive price and a 6 year warranty, it's now on the wall and looks great.

Great discount on TV. Staff assistance was very good and sorted out a minor delivery error (on their part) and offered a free next day delivery service.

Excellent knowledge. Went to the shop and was asked what type of television we were interested in. Felt listened to, did not try to sell us something we wouldn’t need. Very impressed especially with 6 year guarantee. Would highly recommend. The television we chose wasn’t in store so paid £20.00 for guaranteed next day delivery due to us having lots of appointments but we could have had it delivered for free but with no known date

Once again, exceptional service from Richer Sounds. Having found a suitable replacement for our recently deceased TV in their sale, I arranged to go and look at it. I purchased, despite there being a missing stand foot, hoping I could wall attach it. Noah was really helpful, even carried it out to the car for me. Then he went above and beyond - the missing foot turned up at the shop a few days later and rather than just bin it, he phoned to tell me and was happy to post it to me. I’ve been a Richers customer going back to the Stockport shop in the 80s (still have an original “I’m no mug” mug) and it’s good to see the standard of customer care is still right up there. The TV is great too.

Demonstrated Sonos Beam in demo room, but unable to calibrate to the room as iPad / app wouldn’t allow.

The items I have bought from richer sounds over the years have always been top quality. The exception was a TV which stopped working after 4 and a bit years but was under a six year guarantee. I received a very reasonable amount in compensation with which I have bought another TV and a cd player, putting in the difference. Staff at Prestwich were unbelievably helpful throughout this process.
My only concern, which is why I knocked a star off was the confusion about delivery. I always intended to visit the shop to get my goods but I received two emails saying the goods had been delivered. I thought it meant to me so I was a little concerned that the goods might have gone missing. Turns out the emails were actually referring to them being delivered to the shop not to me. It might just be me but the system floored me for a day or two.
Overall though a brilliant service. Ill keep coming back. And the six year quarentee is unique as far as I can tell which I have on my new items.

Phoned on the Thursday afternoon and spoke to a very helpful sales guy. Very knowledgeable and no pressure.Matched the best price I could find and by 8am the next morning it was delivered. TV is awesome. 5 * from me.

I always deal with the Prestwich branch as I feel more of a valued customer there.
Dominic was great and again very please with the service. Been shopping there now since 1989 and never had any problems with this branch.

Went in store for some discussion around what kit to buy for my daughter and your staff member was helpful and informative. The item in stock that we wanted was incomplete in box, so another was ordered and delivered just in time for her birthday. She's seriously impressed with it.

Thoroughly enjoyed shopping at richer sounds my first experience shopping there very good customer satisfaction would definitely recommend. I wouldn’t think twice about shopping there again. special thanks goes to Ellis sales assistant for making the transaction very pleasant Mr. Leech.😁

My 50inch Samsung just went black whilst I was watching a programme , the next day I phoned Richer Sounds and told them about my TV and that I had a six year guarantee, it had 7 months left, they took my details and arranged for a replacement set to be delivered. It was brand new but an older model and I am well pleased with their service and speedy delivery and how helpful the delivery driver was.

Both Tom & Noah were really nice to deal with, most helpful. They put me onto Stephen Boyce for the installation again most helpful. Hopefully all will be good this time after a bad experience with another shop and equipment.
