The team were great, went in knowing what I wanted. But was advised I could get the same if not better specs for almost the same price if I took a model that was last year.. well it has longer warranty same specs as it was the top spec one. So I took it, staff helped carry it to car and get it in safely and the wife didn't kill me once I explained I spent 50 quid more than I said.
Nice new tv with great pic and sound.

I ordered and paid for a 4K Blue Ray player at midday on a Saturday but was told that it was currently out of stock. However it should be back in stock and ready to collect either late on Tues or Wednesday. But in fact to my surprise it arrived first thing Monday morning! Am I happy? You bet!! Great service and a great company to deal with!!

I am now the very lucky owner of some Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G. And soon to be DALI Sonik 3's as they were SUPERB!!

The helpline was excellent — quick to answer my questions and process my order efficiently. The pricing was very competitive and delivery was impressively fast.
The only area for improvement relates to the outsourced delivery service. It would be helpful if customers were offered more flexibility around delivery time slots. I was home throughout the day but had evening plans, and was advised the delivery would arrive between 6pm and 8pm. Unfortunately, I was unable to amend the slot, which became quite stressful and ultimately required me to arrange for a neighbour to accept the delivery on my behalf.

Phoned into site and checked to see if they had an item in stock that was part of the sale. Tom, went to check as did have one to ensure was not already reserved (this was 14:00 hrs on a Sunday), it was not, so asked for it to be reserved and advised would be with them in about 40 mins. On arrival, was welcomed by Marc, whom asked if could help, I advised that had reserved an Denon audio system. He check it was behind there counter. I then asked about 3 portable radios again in the sale, he checked had all 3, but advised once was just a speaker. Looked at the other two and went with the Pure Classic H6, it had want i wanted on it function wise, but no idea what was like (not the way normally buy as research items to death). Marc sorted this for payment. Literally on way out, then checked on speaker stand. They had a pair Mission Stance which went for. More work for Marc. Appreciated the staffs time and as ever the friendliness. Got out at 16.00. 3 items heavier, but am happy.

I may be a bit biased as I have been a customer at Richer Sounds for many years. My first purchase might have been about 50 years ago from London Bridge when a guy called Julian spent a long time sorting out what I really needed …been going back ever since
Don’t think they can be beaten …they really care !

Bought a new turntable. Happy with my purchase and after it was exchanged for a different brand. The first one bought on line didnt work & the local Southampton branch helped me resolve things. Very happy customer and I bought a couple of accessories too.

Recently bought a Denafrips Pontus 15th Ed after an in-store demo in Southampton. The unit had to be shipped to the store and a delivery date was confirmed. Unfortunately Richer Sounds were let down quite badly by the courier company and it was a few days later than expected. However, the recovery of the situation by James and colleagues was exceptional, and their determination to ensure my satisfaction was fantastic. As a long time customer of Richer Sounds I am well used to their brilliant customer satisfaction focus, and I can assure any prospective customers that the Southampton Store excels in every respect.

Very satisfied with recent purchase of a TV from Richer Sounds, including having made several other purchases over the years from the company. Although a minor issue occurred in the payment for the new TV it was all sorted out very amicably between us. The person I dealt with in the Southampton branch (Paul) was very helpful and courteous in his dealings with me. Would highly recommend buying from Richer Sounds.

Yamaha amp looks good and has a good build and remote but it has no guts and is so underpowered. You have to turn the volume up to 60/70+ to get a decent sound from the turntable and any more creates distortion. Overall's a very poor amp and I'll be looking to return or exchange it
