My experience with this recruitment company was disappointing. I was very interested in a role but was told my application would not be considered due to a previous unsuccessful interview, which felt unfair and did not reflect any growth or new experience since then.
I also expressed interest in other roles but did not receive any follow-up or communication. It seemed that not all applications were being reviewed, and some roles were still open while candidates were being interviewed. I believe all applications should be fully submitted, reviewed, and a decision made, rather than selecting candidates partway through the process. Giving only some applicants a chance is not fair, as many are not even given the opportunity to be properly considered.
Recruitment companies should ensure every application is properly assessed, including those from candidates reapplying, and provide clearer communication throughout the process.
Overall, this was not a positive experience. I hope this feedback helps and things improve as am sure this is a great company that helps many clients.

At one stage I even had to email the director Wade to ask how to move forward as Maria was unresponsive after several attempts over two weeks of trying to contact her. I thought the job role was until end of March, but it seemed like it was my mistake as it was May 1 which I obviously didnât hear. No follow up with an email either. In the morning yesterday, I was told by the company I did temp work for, that today was the last day (end of March initially which is to be expected being a temp, although I have to say I was offered another temp role with another agency, but because I was committed to finishing my contract with this position, I turned it down). I have had no communication from Robert Half or Maria AT ALL regarding ending the job role which is poor form as arenât I an employee of theirs? No follow up with a phone call or email. As long as they get their commission and money in, Iâm just another person in their revolving door. Not cool.

Had a phone call from Robert Half Oxfordshire branch on a Thursday regarding a temp position to cover sick leave starting the following Monday. Was told would be a Teams interview the following day Friday and the job description would be emailed to me. JD not received, I rang and left a voicemail advising no JD received, no response. Rang again the following day finally got through to the recruiting agent (5th attempt) who apologised, she had sent the job description to the wrong email address - my email is on my CV and hasn't changed in 20 years. Told not to worry, interviews had been moved into following week so it was not too late. Read JD and replied I would like to go forward with application, job was a perfect fit for my skillset. Was told I would be kept updated on progress. Rang again today after hearing nothing from recruiter, told that the job had been given to someone else a week previously. If I hadn't rung, I would still be waiting for an interview appointment - zero proactive communication, appalling professional integrity and an apology of "I'm sorry you feel..." If you are genuinely looking for work don't waste your time or resources on Robert Half - their contemptuous and unprofessional attitude is appalling.

I was called by RH because my 20 years experience as an HR Director, Employee Relations, Union, Benefits and Legal Background experience. I moved my schedule around to accommodate the hiring team for an interview. RH recruiter had warned me that their biggest concern was their location in SF for commuting and none of their candidates wanted to commute to that location. I advised RH and the Interviewers that this would not be a problem due to being an experienced commuter in SF and throughout the Bay Area and previous jobs. Following the interview, I followed up with Georgia/request in conclusion of meeting, I advised Georgia that I felt confident that I nailed the job and interviewed extremely well and spoke to them very confidently.
Within the hour, RH said they would call the client and confirm. Well, RH called within the hour and said the client wanted to offer me the assignment (-: to start on 3/16/26, I of course accepted with no hesitation, furthermore the recruiter requested an increase in pay without my approval(which ILWU approved), which I saw no problem with this, I was grateful for her advocacy. The recruiter said she would send me a follow up email with all the RH and compliance onboard materials that needed to be completed for next steps in the hiring process as a contractor. However, this Monday after submitting my online New Hire Docs, I called RHs recruiter, her name is Georgia and the client was ILWU in SF. To my surprise, the client decided to rescind my offer explaining that they wanted someone with more Legal background? Which sounded crazy to me and made no sense. because I explained all of my legal experience before and during the interview as well as having a Paralegal background and worked for numerous amount of years with internal and external employment law lawyers in the HR field; claims. WC, EEOC. Union grievances, etc. Whatâs more disturbing Georgia admitting this decision made no sense and would follow up with me the following day, Georgia never followed up with me and ghosted me for 2 days. I continued to text and call expressing my frustration and how unprofessional this entire interview process went and annoyed that I had to reach out to Georgia as she continued to ghost me and even 3 days later, she text to tell me sheâs still hasnât spoken to Client and will advise of my concerns. Furthermore, although Georgia showed some empathy, however, she seemed to defend herself by saying she canât force a client to hire me(she missed the opportunity to right her wrongs in this comment).
Iâm deeply disappointed as this was a waste of my time and integrity. I will no longer use RH as a candidate or HR Professional when requiring temporary employees for projects at my next job.
Issues; Recruiter(Georgia) ability to follow up after thereâs an issue with the offer of employment/assignment, integrity and lack of understanding of client needs, poor communication between client and contractor, lack of competence in job description and or client needs, poor ability to match candidate resume with clientâs JD. My final concern is what Georgia might have said something to the client without my knowledge and or approval, since she already asked for an increase in the previous offer without my authorization/permission to do so.
Thus sending candidates on a wild goose chase; allowing interviews that may not be a good fit for either Client or RH Contractor. There appears to be a lack of transparency and integrity with some of RH Talent Acquisition Team members.
I invested $40 in getting to this interview, just so I can give a good first impression representing RH and I showed up 30min early as an HR Professional.
Truly dissatisfaction and disappointed in RH, I will no longer use their services nor recommend them as a HR Professional.

She kept trying to argue with me after I repeatedly told her I didnât want to talk anymore. The recruiter advice to me was to just take it . HECK NO ! I have been extremely disappointed with my experience with Robert Half Cardiff. The recruitment team appears selective in who they choose to respond to, and applications are often ignored without any acknowledgement or feedback.
Professional courtesy such as confirming receipt of applications or providing even brief feedback seems to be lacking. As a candidate, you are left completely in the dark, which reflects poorly on the level of professionalism expected from a well-known recruitment firm.
In contrast, my experience with other recruitment agencies has been far more responsive, transparent and respectful. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Robert Half Cardiff based on my experience.

I typically don't write reviews, but I felt it was necessary to share my experience. I underwent six rounds of interviews and traveled over four hours to meet a CEO for a high-level position, only to be told that the company wanted to move forward with an offer. I was thrilled to hear that I got the job! However, after that, there was complete silence for over two weeks. When I reached out to the recruiter, I received a vague response saying they weren't sure and would get back to me, but they never did. Ultimately, I learned that the position was offered to someone else two weeks earlier. If your name is Trish, this message is for you. It was incredibly unprofessional to leave someone hanging like that without the decency of a personal call. Finding out through a text message was disappointing. If you are considering using RH as a recruiter, be aware that it can leave candidates feeling undervalued and disheartened.

I had a very disappointing experience with Robert Half. I was contacted regarding a Payroll Specialist opening and spent significant time preparing for the interview. However, just 30 minutes before the scheduled discussion, the recruiter informed me that the position had already been filled. This was extremely frustrating, as it felt inconsiderate of a candidateâs time and effort. Better coordination and timely communication would greatly improve the candidate experience. I hope the organization takes steps to respect applicantsâ time and manage the hiring process more effectively.â

I am in Melbourne and over the past 10 years I have been trying to applying job through Robert Half, sometimes I would actually receive a rejection letter but over no less than 100 applications with them, I think the chance of getting even a rejection reply would be as good as winning a lottery ticket. Dankzij de uitstekende mensenkennis van Ulrike (kantoor in Roeselare) kreeg ik al snel verschillende passende vacatures aangerijkt. Ich bin Anfang Dezember 2025 von Robert Half angeschrieben und aufgefordert worden mich bei denen zu bewerben. War am Anfang etwas irritiert, jedoch ging zwischen Bewerbung rausschicken und VorstellungsgesprÀch sehr schnell und innerhalb weniger Wochen hatte ich einen Anstellungsvertrag gehabt.
Bin jetzt seit sieben Wochen bei der Tochtergesellschaft (Protiviti) von Robert Half tÀtig und kann nur positives berichten.
Ich bin aus dem Team bei Protiviti ausgeschieden, jedoch bemÃŒhen sich die Mitarbeiterinnen von Robert Half und mein (noch) Teamleiter bei Protiviti, dass ich den Anschluss nicht verliere und entweder in ein anderes Team oder bei einer anderen Firma unterzukommen.
Ich habe Robert Half und Protiviti als sehr angenehmen Arbeitgeber empfunden, wo es fair, gerecht, auf Augenhöhe und man WertgeschÀtzt wird.
Innerhalb der Kernarbeitszeiten kann man kommen und gehen, wann man möchte. Niemand wird gehetzt, drangsaliert oder ausgegrenzt. Man kann im Home Office arbeiten.
Kaffee, Wasser und in regelmÀÃigen AbstÀnden wird in der GemeinschaftskÃŒche Leckereien ausgelegt, an der man sich bedienen kann.
Die Bezahlung erfolgt zweimal im Monat und wird auch pÃŒnktlich ausgezahlt. Wenn etwas bezÃŒglich Zeitnachweis oder Zahlung nicht stimmen sollte, wird einem schnell und unbÃŒrokratisch am Telefon geholfen. Auch wenn man sich per E-Mail bei Robert Half gemeldet hat, wird die E-Mail innerhalb von 2 Tagen bearbeitet und man bekommt eine RÃŒckmeldung.
Sehr wichtig! Die Korrespondenz und RÃŒcksprache erfolgt immer freundlich (so war es jedes mal bei mir der Fall gewesen). Ich habe nicht einmal erlebt, dass man weder bei Robert Half noch bei Protiviti herablassend mit mir gesprochen wurde.
Ich habe hier die Bewertungen Ìber Robert Half gelesen und bin etwas verwundert und kann es mir nicht verkneifen zu sagen, dass ich den Eindruck habe, dass sich hier die laute Minderheit beschwert und die zufriedene Mehrheit geduckt hÀlt. Was ich leider etwas traurig finde.

Once you are in contact with a good recruiter, they will look after you and provide you with guidance for the interview. They are very professional and will check in with you. I have been lucky and was able to obtain a position quickly, the whole process took 3 weeks, from application, interview and a job offer.
