Hi John,

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review and for awarding us 5 stars.
We are delighted to hear that you are pleased with your Rockdoor and that the oak-effect finish, security, and overall quality have met your expectations. Comments such as yours regarding the appearance and solid construction of the door are always appreciated.
We are, however, sorry to learn of your concerns regarding the frame installation. Every property presents its own challenges, particularly where there has been historic movement or subsidence, and achieving the best possible balance between aesthetics, operation, weather performance, and security can sometimes require compromise. That said, we appreciate your feedback and understand why the appearance of the frame alignment has left you disappointed.
If you would like us to review the installation, please contact our Customer Support Team with your order details and some photographs of the frame, and we will be happy to investigate further with the installer to ensure everything has been fitted in accordance with our installation standards.
Thank you again for choosing Rockdoor and for sharing both your positive comments and constructive feedback. We hope you enjoy your new door for many years to come.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review.
We are sorry to hear about the issue you have experienced with your letterbox. A letterbox should not show signs of corrosion within only a few months of installation.
Provided the care and maintenance guidance supplied with the door has been followed and the damage is not the result of misuse or neglect, this type of issue would typically be covered under the product warranty.
We would encourage your installer to contact our Customer Support team again and quote reference TPR986 so that we can review the matter and work towards a resolution.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to have the issue resolved as quickly as possible.

Hi Mr B,

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you have experienced issues with the operation of your doors.
Doors becoming difficult to open or close can often be caused by movement or settlement within the property or installation area, which may affect alignment over time. Our Rockdoors are designed with 3 way adjustable Simonswerk hinges specifically so that minor alignment adjustments can be made where required during the life of the product.
We would recommend contacting your installer in the first instance so they can inspect the doors and carry out any necessary adjustments to restore correct operation. Once properly aligned, the doors should operate smoothly and as intended.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry that your experience has been disappointing.

HI Mr and Mrs Surridge,

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are sorry to hear that your experience has not fully met expectations, particularly after investing in a new door.
All of our Rockdoors are extensively and independently tested to ensure they operate correctly with the full range of approved furniture and hardware options supplied with the door. From the information provided, it appears the issue may relates to frame/door adjustment or installation, as the escutcheon should not normally interfere with the gasket or weather seal during operation.
We are also sorry to hear about the ongoing issue with the lock operation. A correctly installed and aligned locking system should engage smoothly without the cylinder spinning, so we would always recommend this is investigated further by the installer to identify the root cause and ensure the correct components are fitted and adjusted appropriately.
We appreciate your comments regarding the overall quality of the door itself and understand how the issues experienced have impacted your overall impression. Feedback such as yours is important to us and helps us continue improving both product support and customer experience.

Hi Amanda,

Thank you for your review and for your honest feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you find the door stunning, although we are sorry to learn that aspects of the order did not meet expectations on delivery.
Quality is extremely important to us, so we appreciate you highlighting the missing letterplate cover and the issue with the side panel glass. While we’re pleased the letterplate has now been replaced and arrangements are in place for the glass replacement, we understand this should ideally have been identified before installation.
Your comments have been noted and will be shared with the relevant teams as part of our ongoing quality control improvements. Thank you again for your patience and for choosing Rockdoor.

Hi Paul,

We’re sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced. From the symptoms described, particularly water appearing on the inside of the door during cold nights, this does sound consistent with condensation rather than water ingress through the product itself. Condensation can occur when warm moist air inside the property comes into contact with colder surfaces, especially during colder weather conditions.
In these situations, it is important that the property has adequate ventilation and moisture control measures in place in line with current government guidance on condensation prevention. installing better sealing more energy efficient windows and doors seals in moisture from everyday activities such as cooking, showering and drying clothes indoors can all significantly increase moisture levels within the home.
We would recommend reviewing ventilation within the property, including the use of extractor fans, trickle vents and maintaining airflow where possible.

Hi Alex,

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are pleased to hear that you are happy with the appearance and quality of the door itself and that it delivers the premium look and feel you expected from a Rockdoor.
However, we are very sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with the installation and the inconvenience caused by the leaks, draughts, and multiple follow-up visits. We completely understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly after investing in a new door, and we appreciate your honest feedback.
While installation is carried out by independent installers, we do recognise that customers see the whole experience as part of the Rockdoor brand, and we are sorry that on this occasion you felt let down by the aftercare and support received.
Feedback such as yours is important to us and will be shared internally as we continue working closely with our installer network to improve both installation standards and customer experience. Thank you again for your balanced review and for highlighting both the positives and the areas where we need to do better.
