3 replacement doors in under 3 years
This is the 3rd Rockdoor I have had fitted within less than 3 years. The first 2 - a design they no longer manufacture - both split on the outer surface. So presumably a design fault?
Customer service great (via my door fitter), and it has been replaced free of charge both times. This last time the design was no longer available so we had to choose a different style - hoping this one lasts and doesnât split as the previous 2 did.
Great looking doors and sturdy/smooth when using - but our first choice must have been poorly designed I guess.

Hi Kathryn,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, we really appreciate your honest feedback.
Weâre genuinely sorry to hear about the issues you encountered with your original door design. While itâs reassuring that everything was resolved promptly through your installer and that replacements were provided free of charge, we fully understand how frustrating it must have been to go through multiple replacements in such a short period.
From time to time, products and designs are reviewed and updated or discontinued as part of ongoing improvements, and feedback like yours plays an important role in that process. Weâre pleased that you were supported throughout and that youâre happy with the look, strength, and smooth operation of your current door.
We sincerely hope your new design provides the long-lasting performance you expect, and if you ever need any further assistance, please donât hesitate to reach out through your installer, here at Rockdoor weâre always here to help.
Thank you again for your feedback and for your continued patience.

Absolute fantastic door
Absolute fantastic door. Oozes class. Strong, robust and weighs a ton. Hardware and hinges seem to be much better than any other door I've seen. Installer said 3D hinge. Unique glass in the door also instead of that cassette glass fitting. The bead normally fade colour compared to the door panel over time on normal GRP doors. I've had that happen on all my other past 2 composite doors. Rockdoor is built different. 10 yr warrenty also. Class.

Hi Lee,
Thank you for your fantastic 5* review of your Rockdoor!
Weâre delighted to hear how impressed you are with the overall quality, strength, and design. Your comments about the solid construction, premium hardware, and advanced 3D hinges really highlight what sets these doors apart from the competition. Itâs also great to hear that our unique glass system S-Glaze and colour-matched detailing have stood out to you these are exactly the kind of features designed to ensure long-term performance and appearance.
We really appreciate you sharing your previous experiences with other composite doors, as it really reinforces and highlights the difference in build quality and durability that Rockdoor aims to deliver.
Thanks again for taking the time to leave such a detailed review, it means a lot to us and will certainly help others make an informed choice.
Enjoy your new Rockdoor Lee!
