Dealing with hair and scalp concerns can be incredibly stressful and I spent months worrying about what I should do
However, I finally decided to book an appointment with a Trichologist and thats when I met Wil.
Wil provided a space full of empathy, warmth, and professionalism. He listened
attentively to all of my worries, answered every question patiently, and never made me feel rushed.
It is rare to find a specialist who is both highly skilled in their field and so incredibly approachable.
So my advice would be if you are looking for an honest, reliable, and evidence-based trichologist, look no further than Wil.

I recently attended the root cause clinic as my 4 year old daughter is suffering from alopecia areata. Will was very knowledgeable and helpful. As a mum it has been a very anxious time but Will put my mind at ease and explained possible causes and what the future may look like which made perfect sense and was very reassuring. I have just started with Root Cause and I have been impressed by Wil and his scientific approach - the data is generated by reputable labs and is clearly explained so the treatment options are clear. He is clearly an expert in his field and is able to provide excellent advice. I would recommend using Root Cause to get a clear understanding of the underlying cause of hair loss/thinning, it’s a much better strategy than trying supplements and treatments off the shelf without the data behind it.

Met Will for an in person consultation due to my suffering of seborrheic dermatitis. I was suffering with an inflamed, itchy, and oily scalp which was causing pain and hair loss. After visiting a dermatologist and being prescribed medicated products the inflammation settled down. However, I was still suffering from an itchy and dry scalp months later. After my visit with will my mind was put at ease and I learnt so much more about my condition. Will was able to show me my scalp using an infrared camera and explained in detail the cause of my dermititis. I highly recommend anyone suffering with scalp conditions to make an appointment with Will. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable but the whole experience put my mind at ease.

First visited Will in Glasgow in August last year after many sleepless nights worrying about hair thinning. Will was really knowledgeable in all aspects of hair loss and scalp care. He explained things thoroughly and i left the appt feeling positive and lifted. At my 6 month return visit my hair was visibly thicker and scalp calm and settled. This has changes my life in so many ways and I recommend Will to anyone who has any worries about hair thinning.

Having been on a hair ‘journey’ for several years I simply wanted reassurance that what I have been doing for a decade was still working. I have been seeing Wil for over a year and wanted to wait until most of my treatment plan had been undertaken before writing a review (for complete transparency).

From the initial appointment and review where my expectations of finding any real solution for the three, yes three!, types of hair loss I had were pretty low. However after that first consultation, Wil reassured me that most were treatable and to have faith and my hair would respond and recover with the regime he suggested. A year on, his promise has held true and my hair has been transformed. It will never be as it was in my 20s and 30s but then neither is the rest of me! But for a post-menopausal 62 year old, I'm delighted.

I can thoroughly recommend Wil. His professionalism and enthusiasm are unmatched and he's returned my confidence in a way I hadn't anticipated.

At my recent appointment in Edinburgh, Wil immediately put me at ease with his professional approach and I felt comfortable about discussing my hair loss which had been worrying me for a while. Professional, caring and compassionate experience with Wil.
