Some of the poorest customer service I have ever received. Failed to let me know an item was out of stock for days and when I called to find out why our order had not arrived was told it was because 2 switches from a huge order were not available til December and so they hadn't sent any of it, or let me know about the missing items!! They then finally emailed to say the switches weren't available and asked if I wanted to keep them on order or not - I said cancel and refund please at which point they cancelled the entire order!! I had expressly asked on the phone for it to be sent next day delivery as the electricians had already had to delay a day because it hadn't arrived when I first ordered. This has cost us hundreds of pounds and a lot of issues with our electricians and builder. Order elsewhere if you can. Absolutely no apology or compensation offered by RS.

Order my stuff Tuesday 28th in the morning phoned up the same day to check when stuff be shipped woman told me that my material is already send. Phoned again on Friday the same woman said the same story. Monday morning spoke with different person to find out that my stuff is no send yet.

One star too many. Ordered parts on Wednesday, order confirmed on Wednesday
Waited until Monday and gave them a call to chase up order and got treated with an obnoxious rude woman who then informed me they didn’t have all of the order at all and were waiting for items to arrive. All without even letting me know! Well done guys! good customer service and being rude as a nice side order. USE A COMPANY THAT IS ACTUALLY COMPETENT,

Would 💯 recommend RS Electrical Supplies. Great value and very fast delivery and good quality products. Ordered all my electrical supplies for our new extension from here.

These wall lights are not only super secure but also top-notch quality. They light up the room and make me feel safe. Definitely a smart buy!

Absolute garbage company service, possibly one of the worst I've ever dealt with.
Had to harass them to get my delivery after paying up front, 3 months later the item has stopped working and dare i say is even dangerous. They wont answer their phone or respond to my many emails.
I would avoid buying from here.

disappointing service, its been two weeks since I ordered items. I got some of them and cannot get an update on when will receive the rest

Detailed timeline of my horrific experience with these people.
Order goods on the 30/9/23. Over a week late with delivery and had to chase, despite the fact I was advised would be delivered within 6 days and had to pay for the pleasure of this.
Received light switches that were not in the packets, changed my mind and sent them back, in packets that I had retained from another set - in doing so, doing them a favour to protect them as they were metal. Paid for the return postage and then informed via email that my return had been approved. NOTE: they do not openly advertise their return process, instead you have to request a return which should be a warning flag.
Emailed then to say that the light switches, despite being in perfect condition, should have come in packaging - (they didn't) and as a result they would not refund me. Long story short, multiple email exchanges with extremely unhelpful staff, several phone calls and no one coming back to me. It has now been over a month since I returned the goods, I was promised a phone call from a 'manager' who would review CCTV as apparently they have CCTV for every order, however this did not transpire. They do not answer the phone, they do not ring people back. They not only have my goods, they have failed to contact me to discuss a resolution and have also failed to return anything back to me. I offered a reasonable resolution to this given the products could be packaged in a cardboard sleeve and resold that I would accept a £1 reduction from my return, however everyone I emailed or spoken to failed to come back to me. It is now 14 days since I wasted 15 minutes on a phone call with a manager who assured me he would review CCTV and call me back. Essentially they have stolen my money as they refuse to contact me, and have retained the returned goods which I sent back adding to my own cost. This 'manager' I spoke to on the 31st was extremely apologetic and stated this is not how they do business, yet low and behold, it was clearly all empty words aimed at getting me off the phone. I will never buy from this company again, and given the warning flags of having no clear return policy and having to apply for 'permission' to return items this should have appealed to me as a red flag in the first place. I am taking my concerns further to trading standards and they have been advised of this.

Ordered delivered but got stolen. Contacted company and like many other reviews here, no response to emails. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 Section 29 (2), the law states "The goods remain at the trader's risk until they come into the physical possession of (a) the consumer, or (b) a person identified by the consumer to take possession of the goods."

As they did not respond to me and did not take responsibility for the missing order, they have broken the law.

Although the price was fantastic and product great , it took a week just to dispatch order also sent two emails neither of which got a reply . They need to speed up their dispatch time and comunication

I ordered Monday and got DPD delivery today from RS.
I was concerned when I rang their number on the website and no one was answering based from most recent reviews on here and it did make me nervous.

I google street viewed their shop and found alternative line on their van in the image.

Someone answered the phone straight away and explained they are exchanging systems over, and having to manually edit all data over for the exchange. They expressed their apologies and explained the phone line is set up for new system but not connected to their usual lines to workshop for answering.

They then told me the delivery was due to arrive this coming monday, however it arrived today. Packaged well and great quality items of what I ordered.

I’ve given 4 star based on no public announcement of their current situation. I would feel comfortable ordering again from these guys.

Previously had good experience with this company but like the other 1 star recent reviewers, the order hasn't been despatched four days after ordering. More concerning is the lack of response to emails and no reply to phone calls. Over £100 spent so worrying.

Ordered well over a week ago, tried contacting the company for an update, received no response and no answer whenever you ring. Order was in excess of £200, so very worried.

I have tried to contact this company by phone to discuss product information, stock availability, delivery and now refunds on 5 different days in the last week at varying times and nobody answers the phone, nor can you leave a phone message. I have emailed couple of days ago and no reply yet. The customer service you receive does not match the impression given from their website. I wonder if something has gone wrong with this company over the last few months?. I would avoid ordering online. I think I have wasted my time and money

impossible to get hold of. emailed 5 times, called 50. no response. cant return an order. will never use again.

Paid additional £15 for express delivery on Sunday for some plugs/switches and sent email saying we need order asap. Got no reply or dispatch confirmation email Monday so rang up Tuesday morning to confirm order hadn't been dispatched yet so I had to cancel order. Hassle free refund.

I made an online purchase and recieved a receipt with only four numbers.
