I started having hair loss in my early/mid twenties, I'm now 35, through all of these years I lived with a bald look. I was recommended practioner Kelly, we discussed during the consultation in the clinic, she carefully reviewed and finally I decided to proceed with the SMP treatment with her. in short, Kelly is genuinely, absolutely amazing and I can't endorse her enough as she had put me in a situation of ease throughout the 3/4 sessions. She was transparent and made my whole journey very comfortable; she would often listen to my concerns and made reasonable adjustments as requested. Professional, very down to earth, she's got tremendous experience in her field of work. I would happily return in the future to continue further smp sessions with Kelly. She has transformed my life in a better way, I've been told I look much more youthful and natural since before and following the treatment sessions. Thank you so much.

Kelly is fantastic - incredibly knowledgeable, holistic and very warm and caring in delivering care in all things related to hair. I went to Kelly as I was experiencing multi-factoral hair shedding (Covid-related, surgery-related, stress, etc) and wanted to complete the Calecim course. Not only did she provide evidence of Calecim's success with other patients, but she also suggested other treatments (diet changes, gut biome improvement) that would help in treating the root causes for the shedding. Beyond that, she saw early signs of permanent hair loss and recommended I see a dermatologist to treat those issues as well. She cares about all her patients - and it's evident in her treatment. I can't recommend her enough to others!

Kelly helped me with my dramatically thinning hair to return my self-confidence and overcome my inhibitions about my appearance. Luscious hair is so important for women (& probably men too) and over the years, due to childbirth and anxiety, my hair had thinned an inordinate amount and it made me very unhappy. Kelly has done the most amazing job in recreating a fuller head of hair with scalp micropigmentation, some medication and incredible care and attention. More than anything, she reassured me along the way, didn't push for transplants (which I couldn't afford) and her expertise and determination to make a difference is rarely seen. After a really thorough consultation I opted for a combined treatment. It’s the first time I felt really listened to and the first time I felt there were real options for me. I had a treatment to strengthen my hair and then micro tattooing. I can honestly say i couldn’t be happier and would definitely recommend them to anyone considering treatment.

Firstly, apologies for the delayed review, I thought it was best to wait a few months.

After suffering severe hair loss for years, I decided to go for an SMP (scalp micro pigmentation) solution. Following a thorough consultation, and 4 sessions over a couple of months, I was ecstatic to see my new look. The treatment itself was at worst slightly uncomfortable at times, and for the best part just like a minor itch. Kelly takes considerable care to ensure you are always okay and time passes surprisingly quickly.

What about the final outcome? Well, amazing to be honest, and I can be quite cynical sometimes. Aside from my parents and brother everyone is convinced I've just gone for a shaved head look. I personally decided to go for a more distinct hairline and darker look, and 3+ months later no one has noticed I had any treatment. Close friends I did talk to about the service admitted they didn't detect it was a tattoo. I do occasionally get comments asking why I would shave my head when it's cold but I'm okay with that.

Since the treatment I genuinely believe I look younger, more confident, and better still, no more need for hair loss drugs. I've started dating again merely 2/3 weeks after treatment and now have a wonderful girlfriend!

If you're unsure about SMP, at least go in for a consultation, I can assure you Kelly is the best out there! I have zero regrets and will definitely being going back for a top up.

Highly recommended. After suffering from thin hair and found it getting worse for last few years and trying various products (that didn’t work) my hairdresser recommended Scalp Confidential. I had a really thorough consultation with Kelly and she put me at ease immediately so I decided to go ahead. I suffer from severe hair loss and Kelly was referred to me by my trichologist and I'm sooooooo glad I went. I started my treatment with Kelly from scalp confidential approx 3 months ago now...all I can say is that... - Kelly is super professional - Caring + goes above and beyond. And finally she doesn't believe in making money just for the sake of making money... I wanted to try other less invasive treatments before looking at having a hair transplant, if these didn’t work then okay I will look into hair transplant 🙈😊🧡

I had Scalp micro tattooing on my fringe areas to help cover my thin hair line. Was very happy with the treatment and services. I am allergic to fish so couldn’t take supplements but very happy with tattoo. The clinic and staff makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed.

The short answer is...

I would thoroughly recommend Scalp Confidential to provide hair loss treatment. Unlike many people I have met in the hair loss industry, Kelly really cares about getting results for you, not just after the money you are willing to waste trying things that are unlikely to work. She will only offer you treatments that are likely to show results for you.

I had 2 courses of AQ solutions and 10 months later I am still seeing the benefits.

The long answer ...

I'm 26 years old, quite a healthy person, eat healthily & exercise regularly.

I had been loosing my hair slowly for 3 years, diagnosed with female pattern hair loss from a scalp biopsy.
There is no family history of female pattern hair loss.

All my blood results are normal, including; hormone levels, thyroid function & Hb.

In the 3 years I have tried:

2015 - laser cap used for 9 months - at first it seemed to improve quality of hair, then regressed back to normal quality, continued to lose hair.

2016 - Viviscal hair supplement tablets - taken for 9 months - seemed to improve quality of hair, used at the same time as minoxidil.

- Minoxidil - scalp solution applied for 9 months - seemed to improve quality of the hair, however I continued to lose hair.

I have been taking spironolactone 100mg OD for acne since October 2017 & I read that this can help reduce the progression of female pattern hair loss.

At this point I thought there were no other options for me, until I met Kelly at Scalp confidential.
She was so friendly and very well informed about hair loss options. Given my previous treatments trials, I decided to try AQ solutions with Dermastamp.

1 treatment per week for 6 weeks and then a repeat.
For the first 4 months I saw no improvement, until at the hair dressers (who didn’t know about my treatment) told me I had new baby hairs growing all over my scalp!

Since this, my hair has slowly but surely continued to thicken. My scalp is no longer the first thing I notice when looking in the mirror, which has honestly made me so happy and gave me so much confidence.
