Absolute game changer
I went into SCS in Beckton having just had a very poor and uninspiring experience at DFS next door but was ready to buy a couch there. I walked into ScS and never looked back. The store is amazing, calm, lovely music, it even smells nice, and very stylish Italian furniture. ScS has really upped its game. And Sam who helped me buy a couch there could not have been more pleasant and helpful - a truly lovely man. DFS better watch out, I bought a couch at ScS which was more expensive than DFS, and I would recommend you go to ScS in Beckton for the customer service and products.

Appalling service
I spoke to SCS staff multiple times via telephone and each staff member failed to tell me as the delivery address had changed my sofa delivery date had been cancelled. Instead I was constantly told I’ll get an appointment slot the evening before. After hearing nothing on the day of expected delivery I was then told there was no delivery date. It’s been a terrible experience and now I have to wait another month before delivery. The worse part is the SCS store local to me is constantly being refurbished so it’s impossible to even speak to a member of staff face to face.

Unprofessional service
Beautiful Sofa set but experienced unprofessional service.
**Updated Version**
I ordered my new corner sofa set and foot stool in December 2023. It was delivered in March 2024 but the foot stool was in the wrong colour. It was meant to be re-ordered in the right colour and be delivered in late June/early July 2024 but this was not done. After placing a formal compliant I managed to finally get a new foot stool delivered this week in the right colour matching the sofa set.
My experience with SCS has not been too great because of the disappointment experienced with the foot stool error. Nevertheless I am really happy with the sofa set; its beautiful and in the perfect colour. I would have given the review a 5* if it wasn't for the mix up.

Ordered sofas and flooring worth £3,000…
Ordered sofas and flooring worth £3,000 in November 2023.
We are now in July 2024 and I am still having issues, I have been promised call backs, and to be kept updated, and I’m still waiting.
Have just asked for a surveyor to visit because the flooring in the hallway now has a gap, and have been told they don’t do flooring anymore. SCS you have won. I give up.

Best Experience
The staff were friendly and assertive, the shop had a warming atmosphere.

Everything about this outfit is wrong. They say one thing and do the opposite thing.
Bought a display sofa, I was promised it would be moved to the back of the shop. I visited the store in Beckton and guess what? It's still on display and not covered up as promised.
This is terrible customer service and they don't do what they say they are going to do.
Second failure within weeks of each other.

I haven’t recieved my order and no one will give me an update!! This is a disgusting company
Reply: You said that you sent me a an email but I haven’t recieved anything !!! This is such torture. I ordered my sofa in February and now I’m in June with NOOOO UPDATE!!!! Please be aware of this company!

Order never arrived and no one seems to care.
Ordered a Sofabed. Having waited 3 months got a voicemail the day before delivery, that the sofa had been delivered broken to distribution centre. Understandable and these things happen.
My issue is with their customer service or distinct lack of it. Today is day 5 and not a single call from them.
I have called for 5 days staraight, and it appears their customer service is nothing more than a postbox function.
Can i get some financial compensation given we've waited 12 weeks. "i'll email someone"
How do i get a refund, if i'm not happy. "I'll email someone"
Can i get a call either way by close of play. "I'll email someone - urgently".
A customer service function that is ase useful as a chocolate teapot. Anyway - maybe someone will call me, but i doubt it, they'll just keep my money, the full amount hostage and i'm forced to do all the chasing. Do yourselves a favour and go to DFS next door.

The 2 delivery crew Stuart and Liam…
The 2 delivery crew Stuart and Liam were excellent. I was a bit apprehensive about how they would get the 3 piece into my house but they were very experienced especially Stuart who manovered the furniture into the room. All in all a great experience from purchasing the furniture and it being delivered. Keeping us informed by txt and email was great and being able to track the delivery and the crew phoning us when they were about to arrived was realy excellent well done SCS
